Welcome! Come one, come all. Scratch that. Hear ye, hear ye. Okay, I give up, I clearly don't know how to start this article so let's just begin this free writing session.

The timer is set, fingers stretched, brain cells squeezed, and let's get it on.

Hmmm, so for the topic, let me take you for a ride. It's a ride like no other, it's a ride across the rainbow. I'm not sure but I have been thinking about rainbows earlier. It may mean something, it may not, but let's use it as a writing prompt.

I'm writing on phone again so pardon the typos and all other errors. It's really hard to write on mobile because my hands and fingers get easily stiff.

Anyway, let's get back to business.

Red.

What do you see when you see the color red? What does it signify? What do you associate it with?

I associate it with, of course, Taylor Swift herself. Why not? She has two albums entitled Red. So Red symbolizes something beautiful and great to me.

Also, I think that it means passion, dedication, and fervor. Don't you think it's burning with hot emotion? It also represents anger in my opinion. Don't you just feel hot-headed looking at it?

Orange

I don't know about but to me, orange looks like a color of celebration. It's a color filled with zest. It's just a happy thing that emanates good vibes. But even so, I don't think that you would see me wearing something orange.

And also, I don't want to be seen wearing orange. Prisoners in our country look like they're wearing orange shirts right? But does that mean they're happy? I don't think so. But maybe it can also symbolize atonement for their sins and reflection.

But speaking of criminals, the biggest ones don't get to wear orange ones. You wanna see the biggest criminals? Hmmm. I don't know, maybe look at the senate, or maybe your ballots this coming election. Oh! Peace!

Yellow

I can relate this color to hope. Not because I'm a dilawan but because it's the color of the sun. I don't know if it's just me, but I colored the sun yellow when I was young. And doesn't the sun brings you hope?

The sun promises us a new day, a new beginning, a new start, and a fresh shot of hope. As long as the sun rises, you can still believe that there is still hope. Not when you're a demon and you're battling the corps. Then yellow will not be your favorite color.

Green

I love green. Don't you? Oh if you are thinking about sexual innuendos and raunchy jokes, then we are bound to be the best of friends. Also, why do people associate green with naughty and sexy thoughts?

Here's my take, green also signifies health, right? So those people with "green minds" have creative and healthy brains. That's what I think. So yeah... Think green.

Oh, and yeah, even the society itself recognizes green as a part of a clean environment, right? Keep the surroundings clean and green, right?

So yeah. Go green!

But in all seriousness, I think green means life. Plain and simple.

Blue

Oh my, this is my favorite color. For me, blue means peace. But it also means loneliness. It can be seen as cold but blue is also the warmest color, literally and according to that one movie. If you have seen that movie, high five. But if you don't, well...

Blue is really a versatile color. It can be good, it can be bad. It could mean you're glad and it could mean you're sad. It's just so deep like the ocean but it's sometimes shallow like the color of her eye.

But when I say that I'm blue, I can be sad, I can be happy, it all depends on the hue.

Indigo

Well, the only thing I can relate to this is the period before the end. Some of us may know this color as purple. And we often see this color in nature on the sky. It's the usual color of the sky before or during dusk. The time just between the day and night.

It means transition. It means change. It ushers in a new era and a new time. And for me, it's the a crazy color.

Violet

Violets are blue, can you say I love you too?

The color violet takes me back to my childhood. When I was a kid, we play with tops made from wood. You know, those spinning things that we battle our friends with.

We use to color our tops with color violet. And what we use to color them was pretty unique. It's a flower of a tree. I'm not sure about the English term but we call the fruits of that tree as kamias. It's a sour little fruit that's abundant in our place back then.

And also, I think that you can easily associate it with violence, I mean hey, it's in the name itself. Also, bruises are sometimes violet, right?

This is just something to color up my night. Even though it feels pretty grey today, and why? Well, Ginebra just blew out game 1 of the finals. It's going to be an uphill battle for this series.

Anyway, I hope that I was able to color up your night even just a little bit.
