Friendship
*"One of the best things about friendship is that age doesn't matter."*
I was inspired to write this because of this four-year old kid. Her name is Jaira. She's my neighbor, and she comes to our house every day to play with my 10-year-old little sister and my cousin who currently lives with us. Unlike other kids here, I'm very fond of her because she's very smart and talkative, but she doesn't play with the things around that is not appropriate for playing. I hate kids who doesn't know the value of self-discipline and are very naughty when their parents are not around, so I seldom allow kids to go inside the house. And I don't allow my sister to play with them either. But Jai is different, at a young age, she is well-disciplined and knows how to behave herself even without her mom's supervision. And she's not a crybaby too! My brother often tease her, but she doesn't cry easily. So I often invite her to come and play with my little sister and I even feed her with the foods I cook, it's just that, she refuse most of the time.
Last night, she came to our house again but my brother who is very fond of teasing and bullying others made fun of Jai and kept on teasing her until she cried so much. We even thought that she's probably not coming here today because of what happened last night. But we're surprised when she came today with a piece of paper on her hand, saying: ***“Hey, I drew us together because you're my friends and I want to give this to you so that if my family moves to a different house again, you will still remember me, and we can still be friends forever.”***
She's so sweet. I didn't expect her to consider me as her friend too because I'm 21 years older than her. But when I think about it, age doesn't matter when it comes to friendship actually.
I'm sure that most of us have friends. How do you look for friends? Do you only consider your peers are your friends? Other says that they don't want to be friends with people who are older than them because they may not be able to understand each other since older people are sometimes kill joy. And they don't want to be friends with someone who way younger than them because younger people tend to be childish. Or are you someone who doesn't care about age and make friends with almost anyone?
The Quest for True Friends
**Quality over quantity**. What is meant by this? Some people want to get a lot of friends. They love meeting people, being in a big group and having lots of friends. But today's world is unfriendly. I've observed some people who gave a lot of friends because he/she is well-off, but when something bad or a misfortune happens, those so-called friends disappears and only few remains. It is usually hard to find a true friend. Having a few but real friends would be better than having a lot but untrue. As the saying goes: 'Friends in need are friends indeed!” Strive to gain real friends that will always be there when you need them.
**Be a true friend yourself**. If you want to gain true friends who are loyal and trusts you as well You should try to be one yourself. Give what you want to take.
**Choose your friends wisely**. A bible passage says 'Bad associations destroys good habits', this shows how vital it is to carefully choose our close friends. Friends are usually the people who we often talk and communicate with. And people are like sponge who can easily absorb what's in the environment. If we always associate ourselves with people (or friends) with bad attitude and qualities. There's a tendency that we may imitate them and our good qualities will be lost. And we don't want that to happen of course.
**Don’t look for friends only among people of your own age or background**. Like what I already mentioned earlier, some tends to get friendly only around their peers — people with the same age as them. But it would also be good to have friends from various age because you'll learn so much from them. I have friends who are even 10 to 20 years older than me, but we get along very well. I learn a lot of lessons that are valuable in life because of them. I also love to hear about their experiences when they are younger. And yet, I also have friends who we're way younger than me, I have some friends who are still in high school and I also enjoy being in their company.
**Be realistic**. We can't expect someone to be perfect in today's world. 'Nobody is perfect' as the saying goes. So when we have close friendship with people, don't expect perfection from them, instead, we should work hard to keep the bonds alive. If our friend made a mistake, we should forgive them. And if needed, we may also give them advice and counsel which may be beneficial to them. Always remember that whenever we give advice, we should do it in a loving way. And if we are the o e who made a mistake and our friend forgave us, we should do our best not to repeat the same offense again in the future.
**Focus on the positive qualities of our friends**. As what I already mention earlier, no one's perfect. Our friends may have a negative as well, but to have a lasting friendship, we should not focus and always point out their flaws, focus on the positive instead, and they will surely do the same for us as well.
**A true friend will always help us to become a better individual.** Think about this, does your friend help you to bring the best in you and helps you to be a better person? If not, then it may be time for you to think about your friendship over again.
"A true friend shows love at all times, and is a brother that is born for times of distress." This is my most favorite quote about friendship and I'm happy to have few but real friends. I'm also happy that I found few good friends in this platform, you know who you are, I will not mention names as I'm afraid to overlook some. But I want to thank you all for being my friends and for always showing support 💕

Should I write some nonsense short articles too just like the others?
Maybe the bot will reward me for that as well 😂
It's been three days since he last visited my articles. I don't know what's wrong with my articles 😅
I found a good korean drama on facebook and it eats my time so I'm not that active here. After two days of being inactive here's what I noticed:
- less active users
- less notification
- articles are long but they are no longer that engaging just like before
How are you all dear read.cash friends? Enjoying the new update so far? What are your thoughts on the new update?
I'm excited to witness what will happen to this platform once the points are totally removed!
I wonder how many of those 465 subscribers I have will be left here and continue to read and comment on my articles hehe. But I'm sure that it will definitely reduce the number of spammers. If you are writing genuine articles, I'm sure this new update won't matter. Random rewarder is actually great, I just received a tip from him this afternoon 😁
What are your thoughts on this dear read.cash friends?
I've been slacking off lately. I'm too lazy to write some comments and barely opened some of the articles on my notification.
But I'm back on my track now and will be reading and reply to your comments on my articles and will do the same to yours.
I'm looking forward to see interesting articles from you guys. See yah on the comments section! 💕
The Zinnia
"*Flowers are God's thoughts of beauty, taking form to gladden mortal gaze;—bright gems of earth, in which, perchance, we see what Eden was—what Paradise may be!”* - **William Wilberforce**
Flowers always bring happiness to a persons heart. The sight of a beautiful bouquet of flowers will surely give a smile and lift someone's gloomy mood.
I'm one of those who gets very excited when they see blooming flowers. Their enticing shapes, lovely and infinite colors excites my imagination and at times, I can't help but to be grateful and praise our creator for creating such wonderful creations.
On my way to town a day before yesterday, I came across some lovely Zinnias growing near the road. I was mesmerised by it's different colors that I couldn't help myselp to take out my phone from my pocket and capture photos. And I'm going to share the photos with you today.
Zinnias comes in different colors and eye-catching hues. I'm amazed by this plant because in my locality, they grow almost anywhere and they don't need so much care. It doesn't take so much time before this plant blooms and produce lovely flowers. Now let me show you the different colors of Zinnias I have on my phone.
Aside from the alluring mix-colored Zinnias, I was able to capture a dying Zinnia too. Looking at this image reminds me that we should really not focus on our outer appearance because no matter how beautiful or handsome we are, time will come that we will grow old and our outer beauty will fade, just like this dying Zinnia who's color is now fading.
I hope you enjoyed my flowers photography for today. Which one of these is your favorite by the way?

No 'EXC' Badge is now Fixed
The 'EXC' badge on our articles has been a vital part of our read cash lives lol. As a reader, it is the very first aspect I check on every article I open. No 'exc' means I won't continue reading the article because it implies that the article is *'not exclusively written for read.cash',* it may have been copied somewhere or it may have been published on other sites before read.cash.
I guess I'm not the only user who published an original article earlier today and appeared to be without the 'EXC' badge.
I emailed readcash this afternoon about it. See screenshot below.
And thankfully @Read.Cash sent me a reply this evening.
The no 'exc badge' issue was finally fixed.
This only shows that when we experience something wrong on the website, we should not freak out and speculate things. We should just wait for @Read.Cash to fix the issue. We should be patient to wait for him to fix everything because I know that he is also doing his best for this website to perform at it's best. Remember that @Read.Cash is a programmer and he can fix things here but he's not a magician to be able to do everything in just a click of his fingers.
I'm sure that some of us still have issue with late notifications but let us patiently wait for him to fix it.
Have a great friends on the other side of the world and good night to those with the same time zones as me 😊

Published an hour ago and I got 1 like, 1 comment and 1 view 😭 The article's missing the 'EXC' sign too 😪
Probably another bug. I'm not sure what's happening 🤔
How to Check The Originality of an Image (Plagiarised or Not?)
Are you a fan of photography articles? I'm sure many of us are. But did it ever occur when you saw a stunning photo and you wondered how the photographer took such a lovely photo and asked yourself if it's really originally taken by that author?
It happened to me several times. So in this article I'm going to show you how to check if a photo is really originally taken by the uploader.
Let's check if this photo on my 'Flowers Photography' article is legitimately taken by me.
Long press the image or photo for the options to appear.
Click on search with Google Lens.
This is how it looks like while google lens is searching for related images.
Photos that somehow looks like my photo will appear but you won't see any photo that is exactly similar to it since this is an original photo.
Here you will see that the image is originally published on read cash.
While for this image, you'll clearly see that this one is plagiarised. So you can confidently comment something like this:
So that's how easy you can check whether an image you see on an article is plagiarised or not. It can also help you to check and search for the names of some flowers or plants that you are not familiar with. I hope you find this one helpful!

Random Photographs
I'm already feeling too sleepy and looks like I'm going to doze off to dream land anytime soon.
But before I catch some zzzs, I would like to share these random photographs I captured this afternoon. Seems like the internet connection will finally allow me to upload photos.
This is a sponge gourd flower featuring the black ants. The flower looks so beautiful this morning but I'm unable to take some clicks so I'll just feature these cute black ants.
I went to a friend's house this afternoon to buy mineral drops for my dad's eyes (he accidentally hurt his eyeballs and needs some drops to heal the wound) and I saw this lovely passion fruit flower. It looks lovely so I took some shots. I have it in two different angles.
A bunch of cute purple shamrocks (oxalis triangularis).
Last photo for today is a small nutgrass I saw near the field irrigation. It looks lonely so I took a photo of it.
There it is. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos. Which one is your favorite?
Please leave a thumbs up, comment & consider subscribing 💕
Been busy today plus the unstable internet connection so I'm not too active here today.
I also want to stay for a few more hours tonight but I'm not feeling too well. My eyeballs feels like they're gonna fall so I have to go to dreamland now.
Goodnight dear friends. See yah all tomorrow 😊
How to Make Chili Ice Cream
Are you an ice cream lover? I bet some of you are. But have you tried chili ice cream? 🍧🌶️
I live in the Bicol Region (a region in the Philippines that encompass the southern part of the island of Luzon) Local inhabitants here are known for being fond of eating chili and other spicy foods.
So today I decided to give you a tutorial how to make chili ice cream, the esciisc way hehe.
First you have to prepare the ingredients and the needed materials.
The main ingredients that we need are:
2 boxes of whipped cream (250 ml) I used *alaska* on my recipe but you can also try other brands.
1 can of full cream condensed milk (300 ml) I also used *alaska.*
20 pieces of red chili (siling labuyo)
Vanilla or strawberry flavor (optional)
Of course you'll need an electric beater or whisk to make your life easier.
**Process**:
Remove the seeds of the chili. Chop and crush it until powdered.
In a mixing bowl, put the two boxes of whipped cream and beat it slowly with an electric beater.
Add the condensed milk little by little while continuously beating the mixture.
Wait until the amount gets doubled and pour in the strawberry and chili puree.
Continue beating the mixture until it becomes smooth.
Transfer the mixture in an airtight container so that it will be soft and smooth when you eat it.
Freeze your chili ice cream.
Wait until frozen and tsadaaaan!
**Enjoy your yummy chili ice cream!**
I hope you enjoyed esciisc's chili ice cream recipe 💕

Shame on operanews.con for not checking the articles being submitted on their website.
I wrote an article about plagiarism after my 'Art of Teaching Deaf and Mute' article was plagiarised on their website but I just discovered this morning that even my 'How to Avoid Plagiarism' article is also plagiarised on that website.

Raindrops on Leaves Photography
***"Raindrops are falling on my head...***
***Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling..." 🎶🎶***
I just suddenly remember the lyrics of B.J Thomas' song while writing this article. I keep singing it in my mind as *"Raindrops falling on my rooftop 🎶",* but when I searched for the lyrics I actually got it wrong lol.
Anyways, it's been a long time since I posted some photography articles and I also missed taking shots so I'm really happy after I saw a good photography subject upon waking up this morning Thanks to the heavy rain last night 🌧️💧
I got **raindrops on Taro leaves** (*Colocasia esculenta) in three different angles.*
I also got **raindrops on a lemongrass leaf** (Cymbopogon).
**Raindrops on a Madre de Cacao** leaf *(Gliricidia sepium)*
**Raindrops on a Rose plant's leaf.** This one doesn't look so fascinating to me though.
This is not a leaf but I like looking at the rainwater dripping from the papaya fruit.
This photographs are not as good as the other raindrops photography but I'm so happy that my photos turned out to be this good.
I hope you like the clicks of this trying hard photographer. What can you say about these photos? Feedbacks are well appreciated 💚

I got 300+ Subscribers Sponsorship Event Winners
So this is the first time I'm going against my rules which is to publish 1-2 articles a day. I already published two (one in the morning and one in the afternoon), but I feel like I have to publish an update because I know that there are people waiting for this.
There are 15 qualified articles which are submitted as an entry for the event. I want to tell you all that I really enjoyed reading your articles. Each of you presented your ideas about the single topic uniquely and I find them very interesting.
As you can see, I originally planned to sponsor 12 users only, however, I would feel bad for the other participants so I decided to sponsor all the participants but some will receive just a small amount.
So as not to prolong your agonies, I'm now going to announce the winners.
Drum rolls........
$1 per month winner: @annoftheroses - Her article is very creative and I like how she presented it through story telling. It is very interesting because she wrote it like she's a protagonist in a fairy tale story. **Click here to read more****.** https://read.cash/@annoftheroses/once-upon-a-time-2a131ee0
$0.50 per month winner: @Ruffa - I chose to sponsor her with $0.50 not just because of the article she wrote, it's because she showed that she's not just after my sponsorship. After joining my event, she's been constantly writing engaging comments on my articles which makes me interested in her. **Click here to read her entry.** https://read.cash/@Ruffa/reaccash-impact-on-my-life-ca2693cb
$0.25 per month winners: @irene - she honestly stated that she's not very good in writing an article in english so she wrote her **entry in Filipino** but her article turns out good and interesting as well. You'll see the sincerity because it is written in her mother tongue. @Eirolfeam2 - her **article** shows that she is really into writing and I like to hear from genuine writers like her. https://read.cash/@irene/readcash-sa-aking-buhay-4927ec34 https://read.cash/@Eirolfeam2/why-i-love-writing-and-how-readcash-changed-my-life-e17cb4ad
$0.10 per month winners: @carisdaneym @Makkyy6275 @damelindz
$0.05 per month winners: @Faizan1019 @mikaella27 @Istiak @JvAnora @erikapmtn @Arif.12 @Reo @Jarin.12
@sheensheen13 also submitted her entry but she didn't follow the mechanics. Her article is not about the given topic so it would be unfair for the other participants if I will accept it. But don't worry, I'll just give you an upvote.
Thanks everyone for patiently waiting for this announcement and thank you for joining the event.
I guess, I'll have another giveaway and with a bigger amount when I reach 1000 subscribers haha.

Unexpected Sponsors
**'New Sponsor**'.
Most users here are surely beaming with joy whenever they see this notification. Who wouldn't want to be sponsored? I guess most of us feels happy to be sponsored because it may seem to us that someone supports us as a writer on this platform.
I have 13 sponsors on my list and I'm proud to say that I got majority of them unexpectedly.
I'm not a fan of giveaways and I only joined a sponsorship giveaway twice and that is because I liked their mechanics to be eligible for their giveaway.
Not long ago, sponsorship giveaways started to become rampant here, they became a trend and most sponsorship articles are always popular or trending.
If you are a fan of giveaways and you like joining them, here are some reminders:
Don't join just any giveaway. Most users who have sponsorship giveaways will only pay you 1 cent ($0.01) per month in exchange of a short post or an insubstantial article. Come to think of it, you are helping that person accumulate more points but you'll just end up getting a little money from him or her and there is no guarantee that they will renew their sponsorship the next month.
Join giveaways that will help you not just to accumulate points but will help you improve your writing skills as well. What do I mean by this? There are giveaways where the potential sponsor will let you write an article to see how good you are in writing. That's fair because you'll gain points by writing and you also help your potential sponsor gain points. It's a win-win situation.
Writing about sponsorship giveaways is not bad and it's not against the platform's rules either. Personally, I also had those giveaways for about three times now. I only do it when I celebrate a milestone here in readcash. These giveaways are indeed a fun way of interacting with each other here. But I always say these words "do everything moderately". If you write about giveaways everyday, it spoils the fun.
This morning, I'm surprised to see that I got another sponsorship from @TruSuccessXpert. I only wrote a 'good' comment on his article and I think that's what prompted him to sponsor me.
Always remember that sponsors will come when you least expect them, and that is if you write quality articles and engaging comments. You'll be happier when someone sponsored you because they really like and appreciate you, not because you joined a giveaway.
Please like comment & consider subscribing 💕
Good day everyone! I just want to let you know that I'm moving the announcement of the result of my sponsorship giveaway to tomorrow morning because I'm really busy right now.
I want to read and comment on all the entries and so far I just read 5 out of 13 entries. Please extend your patience. I'll surely announce it tomorrow.
Thank you and God bless everyone 💕

How to Avoid Plagiarism?
***"I'm a victim of plagiarism."***
It never occured to me that I'll utter these words one day. But here I am writing this article because I just found out that I'm actually a victim of plagiarism. Thanks to @M3i for raising awareness about this issue.
On the first of September I wrote an article entitled 'The Art of Teaching Deaf and Mute' and submitted it as an entry for @Jane's art contest. But apparently someone stole my article and posted it on operanews.com. To be honest, I was flattered when I found out that someone plagiarised my article because it seems like I'm a good writer lol. But eventually, I'm disappointed because that person didn't even gave proper credits to me. He stole not just my ideas but my pictures as well! https://read.cash/@esciisc/the-art-of-teaching-deaf-and-mute-0666df91
Nowadays, it is very easy to access information because of the wide scope of the internet and it makes the ideas of genuine writers vulnerable to plagiarism.
What is Plagiarism?
***Plagiarism*** is the act of copying words and ideas without giving proper credits to the original writer or author. Books, speeches and blogs are prone to plagiarism.
In 1997, President Fidel V. Ramos signed the Republic Act 8293 which is also known as Intellectual Property Code of The Philippines. This aims to protect intellectual properties and punish those who are found to be irresponsible in using intellectual properties. But despite having this law, there are still a lot of committed plagiarism acts because according to my research, no one's been put to jail for plagiarism. Most of the time, when someone makes a public apology and admits that he/she plagiarised something it's enough already.
**How To Avoid Plagiarism**
Plagiarism is a serious issue. And one of the rules of read cash is to write original contents and avoid plagiarism.
**Here are some of the tips that can help to avoid plagiarism:**
***Quote your sources or use quotation marks***. It is very easy to use or add quotation marks to what we write so utilize the quotation symbol.
***Always acknowledge and give proper credits to the original writer***. Our personality and being will never be diminished if we admit that we used some sources for what we wrote. It will even add to our credibility as a writer and our readers will have the confidence and trust in us because we have basis for our works.
***Research and paraphrase***. If you plan to write something do a research first. Read about related articles and understand it. And when it's the time for you to write, don't look at the articles that you've previously read. Just try to remember the ideas retained in your mind and paraphrase it. Present the ideas in your own words.
***Always add watermarks on your photos and images.*** This is a tip for those who uploads original images on the internet because it is very easy to download pictures and images nowadays. This is a reminder for myself too because I always forgot to put watermarks before I upload something.
Always remember that plagiarism is stealing and it is done by lazy people!

I Got 300+ Subscribers: Sponsorship Giveaway
Who likes sponsorship? I guess everyone loves it, am I right? Some even jumps to sponsorship giveaways with $0.01 or $0.02 per month.
Two days ago, I gained 300+ subscribers and I feel happy about it. So I'm going to give out sponsorship to celebrate this wonderful event with you my dear read cash friends.
Don't worry because I always renew my sponsorships.

2 - $0.25 per month
3 - $0.10 per month

3. Comment the link of your article here and mention other friends (at least three) who might be interested in joining this giveaway.
Pretty easy right? So what are you waiting for? Start writing now! You can submit your entries until saturday so you still have time to think about what to write on your article. Announcement of winners will be on sunday (I guess that's enough time for me to earn the money I'm going to give you 😂)

My Struggles With the 'Move to Spam' Button
I actually decided not to write articles about read cash because for the past days I've been seeing a lot of articles about read cash - most of them talks about their points, read cash' how to's, etc. And I'm bored reading all of them. Like don't you have something new, something interesting, something not about read cash? Yet here I am writing this article (shame on me lol).
But I still want to continue because I've been struggling for quite a while now.
For you to understand what I'm talking about please look at the screenshots below:
On this screenshot I've apologized to @damelindz for inadvertently marking her comment as spam. We we're having a nice conversation on my article's comment section when my internet connection suddenly went unstable. Good thing she didn't take it seriously and she told me that she knows I'm not someone who would do such thing.
This is @Yen 's comment telling me that I marked her comment as a spam. Actually this happened last night and I wasn't aware of this. I didn't know that I accidentally marked her comment as spam and I just found out when I opened my account this morning.
Actually, these screenshots are just two of the instances that I marked someone's comment as spam while I'm unaware of it. The first ever mistake is for my friend @Jabs ' comment. I apologized to her as well but I can't find her comment on my notification any more so I'm unable to undo it. I'm just happy that @Jabs forgave me for that mistake and good thing she's not muted on the site when Read.cash muted the spammers.
So for those who gets notifications about your comment being moved to spam, before ranting about it, talk to the writer first, it may just be a mistake and don't get hysterical (lol that's too much) because we can still undo it.
For those who's comment I accidentally marked as spam, I'm terribly sorry. And for future incidents (I still hope there will be no more incidents like this in the future) I apologize in advance because I'm struggling with the 'move to spam' button.

I'm sorry for not commenting on your articles lately and for not being able to reply to your comments. I'm just too busy these past days and I barely post an article.
