I've been struggling to find the definition of I.
I have this internal battle with myself whether I am unique or just about everyone that occupies Earth. I know that being simple-minded and easy to please doesn't make me generic but I still feel not so sure about my purpose.
I am not an attention-seeker but I want my spotlight. Not to be praised but to just simple feel good about myself. I don't even dream of a big crowd to watch over me but the thrill of standing out the crowd gives me thrill.
Being young, we don't really have an awareness about the standard of society but growing up, our consciousness wakes us up from a dreamy world.
Welcome to the Reality.
Growing up means letting go of old habits, even the comfort zone we grew up with. Growing up means more responsibilities, headaches, pain and distractions. Those changes that everyone would encounter because life never stops for someone even if you beg for it.
Everyone will soon have to grow up. Be independent. Glow up from being childish to responsible adults.
First things first: Let go of your oblivious self.
To glow up, you need to let go of your fantasy world. Life doesn't revolve around you. Life won't give you everything you want unless you work for it. Be mindful of others. Happiness doesn't come from material things alone.
Get out of your comfort zone
Glow up doesn't really mean physical transformation. It can also be emotional, mental and spiritual. Burst your bubble. Let go of your safe place and start taking risks.
You'll never know what's best for you without trying out other things.
Self-reflection doesn't have a fee
Talk to your inner self. Don't wait for others to comfort you and do it yourself. Stop thinking too much about what others think and start putting focus on what you want. What do you want? Will it make you happy?
YOU FIRST.
Love yourself before anyone else. This is not selfishness. This is a matter of your own well-being. Stop comparing yourself to others. Forget about the timelines. Focus on your purpose and vision.
The best kind of glow up is the obvious one coming from inside out. This will take time but as long as you can see result, don't stop.
Everyone has their own battles, hardship and phasing.
Our main purpose is to glorify God and we will never be able to do that without being the best version of ourselves. You will definitely glow as long as God is taking control of your life.

This is a lovely article and I love the tips and advice you provided. I see here that you mentioned me and my sponsorship event. Perhaps are you submitting this as an entry for my sponsorship event? Because if indeed you are, I'm afraid that this won't be accepted as an entry because you didn't follow the mechanics, as much as I would love to acommodate this entry, I can't because it will be unfair to those who strictly followed the rules. Nevertheless, thanks for showing interest in joining the event, I'll see what I can do about this. I'll keep you posted.
