My mother says consuming or taking garlic helps to lower cholesterol levels because of the anti-oxidant properties of Allicin. It helps also to regulate blood pressure and blood sugar levels. When you say 1 or 2 garlic should be eaten daily, do you mean raw? Some persons may not be able to tolerate that because of the smell. Is there anything it can be eaten in combination with to minimize the smell?
