There is a big difference between decentralized and centralized social media. And of course there are more pros in decentralized one. But centralized one are not bad for famous people there, but that's not the case all the time. If someone prefers to support what's not supported by the team, he/she may lose the account built for years. I was so inspired by a video showing the true situation in Russia by @anli , and I created a video myself.
