Do Not Joke About These Things
The month of March just ended, and last April 1, everyone posted about April Fool’s Day. April fool’s day is an annual custom on April 1 containing of practical jokes. The joketers often expose their actions by saying Happy April Fool’s Day! at the recipient. This happens commonly on social media, especially on Facebook. These jokes and pranks are somehow funny to others, but technically, there are things that we should never joke or prank about.
Here are things that we should never joke or prank about:
Suicide or Death
Joking about this really frustrates me. Laughing and clowning about something about lives and we all know that deep down these are harmful and being insensitive to others. Saying, go kill yourself, and I’m going to kill myself is showing disrespect to everyone who lost their lives through suicide, especially for those who feel like it’s the only resort because they feel alone and no one understands their pain. And also for the people who lost their loved ones because of death. These statements reveal the person as pathetic but also harm the people they are imitating. These are not jokes because these are real experiences felt and happened to people around you. Dealing with such loss is painful.
Miscarriage and Pregnancy
Definitely, pregnancy and miscarriages are not a joke and are considered a prank. People should be considerate about the feelings of others. We need to think about those mothers/ parents who lost their children. It can bring a lot of emotions such as pain, and shame for those mothers who experienced miscarriage.
Cheating
It’s funny how people considered cheating and being unfaithful a joke today. Joking about this matter seems like people tend to normalize it and feels like it’s okay to hurt someone’s feeling. We should be careful and think about those people who suffered anxieties and depression because of people who cheat on them. We should know how to put our shoes on those people who tried so hard to overcome the pain caused by cheating.
Depression

These are just some of the things and serious matters that people should never joke and prank about. We should be sensitive and try to put our shoes on the situation. These are the serious thing that really happens in one’s life that people should talk about with respect and sympathy. Stop using these things to go with the trends, but rather, be someone’s inspiration to motivate them to go on with life despite the struggles they are trying to overcome every day.
Everyone is facing different kinds of problems, and hardships. We should be aware and be insensitive!

Actually for me, every single thing can be not meant for joke, depending on the situation. Kaya sana mas aware tayo sa situation before joking about it. Minsan yung funny sa atin, nakakasakit na pala sa iba . :((
