Something to enjoy and look forward to are these butterfly pea or blue ternate flowers in my garden. Looking at these flowers makes me smile and forget the problems we encountered in this world. Camiguin Island I would like to share some throwback photos of my trip to Camiguin Island in 2017. I was with my college classmates when we went to Camiguin Island. My daughter bought this vacuum to help us in cleaning the floor. I tried using it this morning but I still used my old broom to check if all dust and dirt were removed. Tapsilog I still have half of the marinated homemade beef tapa so I fried it for lunch. When my children learned that I was cooking beef tapa, they requested to have TAPSILOG, that is tapa, sinangag at itlog. So I got the old rice inside the ref and made it into a garlic fried rice. Beef tapa As per request of @Crsty , I am sharing my beef tapa recipe. I got this also from an old recipe book but modified a little. Ingredients 1 kilo beef, round steak or sirloin ( I used sirloin) 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 2/3 cup brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon pepper corns pounded 6 cloves garlic pounded and sliced 2 tbsp oil Slice beef thinly. I was supposed to cook pork chop guisado ,something with a sauce but when I told my daughter about what I plan to cook she suggested to just fry it. So this is the final product. My friend @alicia1954 was asking me earlier if I have dessert. Yes I do Ms. Alicia. . It's "Pichi Pichi" from Don Benito's. I love their cheesy Pichi Pichi. I searched the net and found out that Pichi Pichi is made of grated cassava , sugar and water. Mixing them well and then place in a container to be steamed. I haven't tried cooking Pichi Pichi. We seldom find fresh cassava here so we just buy the cooked Pichi Pichi. It's yummy.

We finished our lunch a while ago. I also finished feeding our pets. We had fish and veggies soup for lunch. Keema Beef curry The last meat we have available at the freezer was ground beef. I was looking for a recipe using ground beef and I saw at Google the Keema Beef curry recipe . I checked the ingredients and I had majority of what is required except for frozen peas. I gathered the ingredients and started cooking. My eldest daughter loves curry that's why I chose this recipe. It's time to organize and clean up our shoe storage. I was able to eliminate 2 pairs of formal shoes with the soles already disintegrated. I don't know why these imported shoes can't withstand our humidity and temperature. The soles were the first to give up. The locally made shoes lasted longer. Getting in touch with some friends makes life exciting. It's fun reminiscing our youthful years. I am currently Zooming with my college batch mates. Have you tried growing mushrooms at home? As I was resting, I looked around my photo gallery and found a photo of the mushrooms we tried growing years ago.
