It's a cool Wednesday morning and I am very grateful for this day. Thank you Lord for the graces that I received and for a complete family gathered in this beautiful island. Thank you for our good health and Your continuous protection.
We have our family bonding at Bluewater Sumilon Island here in the south of Cebu.
I woke up to this view and had a short walk. Oh it's so peaceful and inspiring. The staff are very courteous and helpful.
It's a blessing and I am also thankful to my family especially my second daughter for coming home after 3 long years of being away from us.

Sharing with you this special menu which my son-in-law ordered for our meal. They called it chicken pater. It came with a delicious rice and shredded chicken with quail eggs. I liked this menu especially that it's wrapped in banana leaves. It's so good and filling.

I had a chance to visit the Visayas Art Fair 2022 held at Oakridge Business Park , Mandawe City last Saturday, Nov 26,2022.
Artist Lloyd Tronco invited me to see his paintings being exhibited at Gallery X. After getting a free time I visited the place. I was so amazed to see the work of my niece Bea Tronco. She is a young artist who had been perfecting her art by drawing objects in one line without lifting her pen. Finally she did it and her work is now exhibited in the Visayas Art Fair next to her Dad. I feel so proud of her art and took a photo with her name on it! Proud Tita here! Congrats to my dear Bea❤️

Sorry I was not able to visit the website in a while.
It's been a busy week .
I am glad that I found an electrician to fix our connections here at home. The outlet for my washing machine is now ok as well as my ac unit. Yun din mga connection sa kitchen ay naayos na rin.
While the electrician was fixing our electical system, I requested his companion if he can get some fruits from the longan tree because I can't reach them. I am showing the longan fruits in the photo below. Oh , he got a few pieces. They're so sweet.

I showed them to my daughters and bunso asked some to taste too. I hope she will like them.

Since I have rested already I said yes and prepared to get dressed. While waiting for my "sundo",I saw the moon up above the sky so I took a shot. It's so beautiful .

I couldn't sleep so I thought of visiting this platform.
It's been raining the whole day here. I guess we are on signal #1. There were some places experiencing some flooding or roads were destroyed due to heavy rains.
Every now and then, I still get alert warnings to be cautious and careful.
I am glad our area is safe. Praying for our brothers and sisters who lived in areas near rivers or on the mountainside with landslide prone areas. Please protect them Lord and keep them safe.

It's a rainy morning once again.
I was awakened by a loud Orange warning from the NDRRMC. It's been raining since last night kaya naka tanggap na ng "babala sa pag ulan, pagbaha at pag guho ng lupa."
Everyone must be alert and cautious because the current Storm Paeng has a wide coverage. It's now signal #1 in the Eastern Visayas region and some areas in the south of Luzon.

My family attended an anticipated mass at 6pm today. After the mass,we didn't go home directly but instead went to SM Seaside to have dinner. I wanted to eat noodles so we had one plus salad.
I had a good meal with the family.
I enjoyed going around the SM Seaside mall looking at the beautiful Christmas tree with a Winterland motiff.
It always feel good when we have a family bonding.

I had a great day this Friday.
I was able to meet some high school friends during lunch.
A batch mate came all the way from Dumaguete City and invited some friends and I was glad he also included me on his list. I remembered that when my group of college friends visited Dumaguete City in 2019, I made sure that we visited his home . He was so happy to receive some friends around. This time it's his turn to come to our city and he made sure to spend sometime with friends.
Another high school friend came from California and requested that we meet for an early dinner. Only 2 friends on her list were able to come so we enjoyed our time together. We learned new things while we were chatting. It's always fun to reminisce our younger years. We had a chance to take a photo on the newly installed Christmas Tree at the mall and also while we were taking our dinner.
Memories are treasured with our friends around.
Live life to the fullest . Enjoy while we can still walk, eat and laugh 'coz it can be denied that we are ageing gracefully.

I am grateful for the good weather we have today. I was able to do some laundry while preparing for my lunch.
Here is what I tried cooking for our lunch, air fried chicken breast. This is also my first time to use this
oven with air frier. Hope the results will taste good.

My classmate and I visited this resort to check the facilities and their rooms.
Our college batch will have an early Christmas party and we planned to stay overnight at this resort. It's located within the city so that we don't need to travel far. We chose to reserve 5 rooms at the ground floor so that it will be convenient for the Seniors.
My batch mates are so excited for our December event.

Happy Monday to all.
Yesterday was a busy day for me because I attended The Feast at Ayala Center at 10am and also the 11am mass at the Ayala Chapel. I was so glad that I was able to offer a mass for the 6th death anniversary of my dear husband.
After lunch a close friend invited me to attend an orientation about a new product which claimed that it's good for our health. I attended with an open mind. My friend gave me a few samples of the product to try and hopefully it's effective on me.
At dinner time my bunso and her partner treated me to an Italian restaurant but I opted to eat grilled vegetables, boiled potatoes with garlic and toasted bread with ham and cheese.
I am slowing down my intake of red meat nowadays so vegies are a good choice.
Now, I will prepare lunch , fried fish and mixed vegetables.

Dragon fruit
After our lunch today, I sliced this dragon fruit as my dessert.
I have always loved this fruit. It's very refreshing.
Have you ever tasted this kind of fruit?
It was timely when I went to the fruit stand the other day that they have some dragon fruits available. I only bought 1 piece and placed it inside the refrigerator. It's always good to eat it when it's cold.

Yesterday afternoon at around 4:30 pm, we experienced a heavy downpour in our area. Good that the heavy rains stopped after 30 minutes so I started going out to fetch my elderly auntie just in the neighborhood. We are going to attend a mass at our family chapel which is about 10 minutes ride from our location.
My auntie lives alone in her house. When I arrived a few meters away from her gate, this picture welcomed me. Their area was flooded. You needed to wade through the dirty waters to get out.
What I worry most is that many people pass thru this area because just a few meters away is the Barangay Health Center. There is also a private school on the other side and many students use this path as their short cut to reach their school. I pray that the government will find a way to solve this problem.

Hello Noise family!
It's been a while that I haven't visited our site.
Recently, my alma mater celebrated its 75th year anniversary or Diamond Jubilee.
I had been busy coordinating with my high school and college batchmates. We attended the event and met friends that we haven't met for sometime. It was a great moment renewing our friendship and ties.
The high school batch has been assigned the maroon color so we ordered Maroon tshirts. The College of Engineering was assigned with color orange. Like wise we ordered orange Tshirts.
We enjoyed our bonding moments especially when our high school classmate arrived with her husband. She's now a mayor in one of the municipalities in Mindanao. This is her first time to attend the school's Grand Alumni Homecoming. We were so blessed because she gave each one of us an advanced Christmas gift. We were so grateful for her thoughtfulness.

I'm sure ever has eaten their morning meal. Mine is a late breakfast.
I made a corn coffee for my hot drink, toasted a piece of wheat bread and a croissant and a slice of chicken meat loaf.
What so special with my meal is that I am having Queensland butter in can. I had been looking for this butter at the grocery stores but they ran out of stock. I am so happy that my children found this at the Landers when they visited the store last Sunday. This butter is so good. Have you tasted this?

It's another hot sunny day here in our area.
When I checked the temperature it's 33 degrees Centigrade but feels like 36 degrees.
Dito lang po ba ito sa city namin or dyan din sa inyo mainit din.
Sa mga panahon na ganito, mag ingat po tayo at lage uminom ng tubig. Kung wala namang importante na lakad, stay muna sa bahay at magpahinga. Make sure to hydrate yourself.
Nasa bahay lng po ako ngayon ngunit naradaman ko talaga ang init lalo na kapag lumabas ng bahay. Kanina, nagsampay lng ako ng mga nilalabhan at feel na feel ko ang init ng araw.
Kaya ingat ingat lng po mga kaingay.

A taste of chocobud
Happy Saturday to all my friends here at Noise.
I started the day late because I felt some dizziness when I woke up. I am still grateful that I am blessed to wake up to this beautiful sunny day. I extended my rest and started cooking for our lunch at 11am.
We had paksiw na lechon and grilled chicken.
After lunch, I saw that we still have inside the refrigerator the chocobud brought by my daughter from her office. It's made of sticky rice with chocolate imbedded in the middle and wrapped in banana leaf. I got a portion and reheated it. I sliced one mango and got one part too.
Hmm, it really tasted good. It's the right pair.
I hope everyone had eaten their meal too.

Blue tea
As I was taking my sun bathing today, I noticed that my blue ternate flowers are in abundance.
I picked a few pieces and made some blue tea.
Has anyone tried the blue tea?
It's easy to make fresh blue ternate tea. I use about 7 pieces of freshly picked flowers, washed it well and added hot water. I allowed it to infuse for a few minutes and this photo is the result. You can add some honey and a few drops of lemon or calamansi to have a better tasting drink.
I learned that blue tea has many benefits. It contains natural antioxidants and helps improve our blood circulation. It also improves eye sight especially night vision. It also helps prevent diseases like cancer and tumours. Blue ternate tea also helps in weight loss by burning belly fat to protect against fatty liver disease. It's also good for our hair and skin. I guess there are many more benefits we can have drinking this natural blue tea.

I woke up early and cooked my home made pancakes. I ran out of evaporated milk and fresh milk so I used my powdered milk. I'm glad it turned out okay too.
I also cooked the last pack of bacon inside our freezer.
Everything was ready at 7:30 am but I only cooked my fried egg just before we ate.
I already attended an online mass. I can't go out today because my allergic rhinitis is bothering me again, always sneezing.
I hope everyone has already eaten their breakfast.

Masaya ako at walang mga lakad ang mga kasama ko.
Katatapos lang po namin kumain ng hapunan.
May fried porkchop pa na sobra from our lunch. Bumili ng pandagdag na ulam ang aking panganay. Bumili po siya ng oysters at grilled pusit.
Ang sarap po ng oysters with cheese.
Nag steam din ako ng ube cheese siopao na bigay ng aking kumadre at kumpadre.
Matagal na rin na hindi ako nakakain ng oysters.

Alma Mater
Visiting my Alma Mater after many years brought back happy memories.
In preparation for the 75th Anniversary of my beloved USJR, I went back to my school to Register and get my Alumni ID. Some of my batchmates also requested me to register them so that they can join the Grand Alumni Homecoming on October 8,2022.
We are all excited to meet our batchmates, friends and some teachers if they are still available.
Upon entering the university, I saw this wall and the stairway which reminds me of my days in college. This stairway was where I usually pass in going to the library. Sometimes I can't buy a book for some subjects so I depend on complying the assignments using the available books inside our library.

Red loved to sleep on his box while Ginger is sleeping outside on the bamboo bed. They are so cute!
I was not a cat lover originally but I learned to appreciate them when my daughter and partner brought their cats at home. I can feed and give them water whenever I am alone at home. I just don't tolerate that they climb on my bed.
Cats love to be with people. Red loves to follow me around. I am glad that Red is a good and obedient cat. He was well trained by his "mom".
