Good morning noisemates. Sometimes it takes a little late for Mr Sun to show up and brings sunshine to everyone. I shot this a while ago here in our front yard. Beef salpicao Almost lunch time na rin. I'm glad tapos na naluto ang aking ihahain for lunch. My first time to try cooking beef salpicao so I checked in Google how to do it. Mabilis lng pala gumawa, natagalan po ako sa pag slice ng beef . Thin slices kasi ginawa ko para madali lumambot. I followed the instructions ( except for slicing the meat), added some sliced mushrooms and this is the outcome. Hope my children will like this menu for today. Have a great day everyone!

Dessert Marami po banana ang nahinog at hindi nakain agad so I froze them all para ma save. Now we decided to have banana shake after our lunch. I used all the frozen bananas and some milk. It's very refreshing and nutritious. I made 4 glasses of banana shake. That's a huge savings when we order online. So it's better to make your own to save a lot.

This is me viewing the different color hues of the sea. I am always amazed with our nature and here, I wanted to be one with nature. Let me share this photo of an orchid called dendrobium. This type of orchid gives a lot of flowers and grows easily but still need a lot of care. My sister's garden in Bacolod has a lot of this flower. Whenever I see this orchid, it brings back memories of home and family. Dendrobiums have a lot of different colors and variety. Empanadas This afternoon the girls ordered some empanadas from their friend who has a business selling food items including empanadas. They're so inviting and good, the crusts are so yummy as well as the fillings. Empanadas are made by folding a dough with some fillings inside. You can customize your fillings if you cook it yourself. You can have pork, chicken, beef or vegetables. I have also encountered empanadas with ube fillings. I'm back after preparing my breakfast. Kain po tayo mga kaingay. I cooked rice but decided to have a sandwich because I saw some tuna filling prepared inside the ref for sandwich . Also the bread I bought will expire today so I need to finish eating it. I made tuna and cheese sandwich with Milo drink. This gave me enough energy to last until lunch time. Island Travels Good day noisemates. I want to share with you one of the highlights of my visit to Coron, Palawan sometime in 2019, just before the pandemic period. Sharing my homemade meatballs and sautéed beans with carrots which I cooked for lunch today. I only had about 200 grams of ground pork so I added 8pcs veggie meat cutlets which were already boiled and rehydrated and chopped finely. I also added grated carrots, minced garlic, freshly ground pepper, one egg, salt and soy sauce. The veggie meat blended well with the ground pork. Pulangbato Falls My college friends and I visited Dumaguete in October 2019. One of the scenic spots we went to was the Pulangbato Falls. It is located in Red River Valley, Valencia , Negros Oriental. It is a waterfall over red rocks with a natural pool under it. This is my dinner tonight. My tummy is not well so I made pospas or lugaw with chicken. Others call this porridge or arroz caldo. I boiled the whole chicken breast and shredded it. I sautéed onions, garlic and ginger then added the shredded chicken, rice and enough water. Let it boil and mix occasionally to check that no rice is sticking at the bottom of the pan. I saw this plant when my sister and I visited the home town of our Father. My cousins brought us to a resort where we had seafood lunch. I found this plant at the resort. Today is the 9th day novena for the soul of our nephew's wife. We will be attending a novena and mass to be celebrated at the family chapel at 6pm. I am preparing now to go there with my youngest daughter. I believe that a family that prays together stays together and lives happily. Mr. Moon is still shining brightly but I didn't see it above the sky since it's so cloudy. I was walking along the private road where we had bonding with the family and looked around above me but no Mr Moon. Amazing cats As I was waiting for the sunrise this morning, our house cat Ms Pepper and alley cat Mr Ginger came. Ms Pepper came out of the house when she saw me open the door. She wanted to get back inside the house but I closed the door and all open windows. She went around the house looking for a way to get in but could not find a way in. Last night I bought some mangoes from my sister-in-law. She is a business woman and sells fruits and other foods she cooked and prepared to hely sustain the family needs. I asked her if she made some mango float. Luckily there was one tub left so I bought it together with 2 kilos of mangoes. Seeing this fire tree in the middle of the business centers gives freshness to the environment and area full of tall buildings. I was able to take this photo when I went to the mall while riding a grab car. I get to appreciate flowers and nature after a long home stay without going out. A fire tree is very attractive because of the colors of the red flowers. You can clearly see it even from afar. I hope you will enjoy watching the red flowers of the fire tree.

MINI CALADIUM REBORN This mini caladium was bought by my bunso and partner during lockdown last year. It already died but I kept its pot under the shade together with other pots where I planted some green onions. Maybe I had planted some green onions on this pot too but it didn't survive. Lunch Today's lunch : chicken adobo and sautéed squash. Have you eaten lunch already? My bunso suggested that I cook fried chicken but I opted to cook chicken adobo because it has more flavor and less oil. Do you recognize what flower is this? It is a flower of the Guyabano or soursop tree . It is bell- shaped and grows on the older branches or on the tip of the branches. This flower is not very attractive to pollinators . It cannot also self pollinate. I guess we need to manually pollinate the flowers to produce fruits. Merienda time. Pagkatapos maglaba, na feel ko na naman parang nagugutom. Kaya mag merienda muna tayo ng SkyFlakes at EggNog. Nagtataka talaga ako na every time after maglaba ako po ay parati nagugutom. Umimom na po ako ng tubig kasi ang init po sa labas. Pero naghanap pa rin ng makakain. My bunso made a yummy merienda so I ate again. This is her homemade mozzarella sticks. She bought the ingredients after she was done with her errands today. She cooked it after she has disinfected herself and taken a bath. I was asking her earlier what she was cooking but she didn't tell me so I stayed in my room. Night Life here I went out to check on our locks st the gate and stayed outside for sometime observing what's going on around. I am out of home again. After my tasks this morning, I came to the mall. There were less people around. I went window shopping and saw so many sale items.
