Would you dare cross this bridge? When I took a vacation in Manila last 2017, we went to visit the Philip Sanctuary in Antipolo, Rizal , Philippines. It is an Eco- Adventure Mountain Resort where company team buildings were held, a venue for some movies or local tv series or for just family recreation. It is located in Sitio Panlilingan, Pestano Farm Road, Antipolo. This farm/resort is owned by the late Pepe Pestaño and wife Nene Pestaño in honor of their son , the late Ens. Philip Pestaño of Phil Navy. Pepe Pestaño is my second degree cousin and he loved meeting relatives. He was so happy to see us visit him and his farm. I am sad because Manong Pepe passed away last Aug30, 2020. During our visit , we toured around the farm accompanied by their team coordinator. When we reached the bridge shown in the photo below, the team coordinator told us to cross the bridge to get to the other side. We were hesitant to cross because we were not expecting to be doing this at the farm/resort. But we had to do it to go to the other side so we tried crossing. We were bringing our hand bags with us and had our sandals on but we accepted the challenge. The scary part is when another person crosses while there's still one ahead of him because it's difficult to stabilize the swinging of the bridge plus the fact that there are portions of the wooden plank that are already destroyed. This bridge is usually used on their team building activities to develop camaraderie, unity and helping each other. The first photo showed the bridge with some wooden planks destroyed. The second photo is me crossing the hanging bridge, photo shot by my sister using my cp. The third photo showed how the group joined hands so that my sister can finish the challenge completely.
