Today is the 9th day novena for the soul of our nephew's wife. We will be attending a novena and mass to be celebrated at the family chapel at 6pm. I am preparing now to go there with my youngest daughter. I believe that a family that prays together stays together and lives happily. My late husband's family are close to each other ( cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews). Although we lived not within the neighborhood of these families, whenever there are masses or family gatherings, they always call us so we also visit them. My daughters are also close to their cousins and nieces. This is the Filipino tradition and we still observed the "mano po" to the elders every time we meet.
