Tears are the only thing we could have when we lack words to communicate. We could say nothing at all. We could burst out the fluid from our eyes when ourselves could no longer bare the emotions. It could be of so much joy or sorrow within our heart. But did you know that tears are language as well? Yes it is language of all the unspoken words we couldn't communicate. Tears are language that communicate to the words we couldn't speak.
Just like the child if you could notice, they couldn't say words to communicate with us there needs. So, they would give us tears in order to let us know their needs. When they are hungry, they cry. When they are sleepy, they cry. When their nappies are wet or needed to change, they cry. When they are in discomfort they cry. Basically the only communication they have is through tears but still we understand them right? But before fully understanding them we need to listen and master all the meaning of their cries. Sooner or later we knew, and master them fully. Just like kids there are emotions we couldn't express through words but only tears will be way to let the emotion flow.Tears, the ones that could give us healing and comfort.
Tears are the language of a silent heart that bares.
When we are in sorrow or in pain we cried our heart out. The pain that we bare inside that only tears could wash out. There are times that we chose to be silent rather than speak in order to prevent chaos. Yes, we prevent chaos but inside of us is more than the chaos we could get from speaking. The pain that boiling inside us that made us feel exploding where only tears could only be the ways to express and be done of all the chaos inside that we chose.
Tears are the language of the hearts that leaps for so much joy.
Sometimes when we are in so much happiness we lack the words to say and tears fall down our cheeks. This is called tears of joy. Tears could be the ways to say that I am so happy and my heart's leaps for so much joy. The joy that no words could express. Tears could let us express the emotions that we have inside when joy is uncontainable.
Tears are the language of the mixed emotions
There are times that we couldn't tell what we really feel in that certain moment. We couldn't be happy because of some reasons but we couldn't be sad as will because there are still so much more to be happy. That feeling that we could'nt express through words that sometimes tears are the only ways to express them.
Tears are the words of a silent battle that we have.
Most times we struggle our silent battle inside. The anxiety that kills our confidence. The depression that hinder us to be happy. The worries that prevent us to enjoy the journey. The standards that the society impose. The family that gives so much pressure. Works that demands you good quality of work. Unending needs of the kids. These and more battles that we struggle but we fail to communicate. Not because we don't want to but because we could find words to fill up the emotions we are feeling.
Tears are powerful. Though we couldn't hear words from that tears but tears itself are the words.
Closing thought
If you could listen and hear the words of tears you would know what's the message that it brings. It has so much words and deep meaning. It could communicate deep language. Language that brings comfort, healing and peace.

Be careful if a person recurrently uses tears as a way of communicating. If she does it frequently, she should consult a therapist, it may be a sign of depression or anxiety. If it is used frequently by children, it may be a manipulation mechanism. Very interesting post, thanks for sharing.
