Being Positive in life is not as easy as we talk. For that, we need strong will and our heart must throb us to be positive and happy. Life is of course a confusing game where we have to be so clear and alert all the time not to get fooled easily. To make this happen, we have to be calm and positive even though at tougher times which could be achieved by following the below given points.
But Before jumping into the actual topic, let us see why we need positivity in life. If we know this, we would know the crystal clear reasons to be at good side of life no matter what we are facing in life.
We need to be positive in life because being negative lessens our scope to improve in life. It reduces our concentration to achieve goals and lessens our boundaries of success and we would always think to stay in our comfort zones. Which means, development in life is stopped.
Being Negative never helps: This is an important point for why we need positive energy. Being negative would never help us in life and sometimes if we keep thinking about the same negative side of life, we would have a greater chance of being pushed towards depression or the worse case, suicide..
Bad decisions being sad: The next point is that whatever decisions taken with a negative mind or emotional mind, would always resulted and going to result in bad decisions or maybe disastrous many of the times.
No Alternative except to stay positive: If you want to see your future life as bright and good, you need to be being positive and there is no alternatives for this.
Physical threat: Being negative not only result in emotional diseases like depression, but physical illnesses like heart attacks and other similar diseases. If you do not want to be ill health, you must be positive always. After all, if you are fit and sane, then only you could run towards achieving more goals right?
Now we have seen why we need positivity, we must also know how to be positive in life. Positivity is contagious and it spreads to your vicinity from you and you are so obligated to spread it correctly. When positivity is around, there is no place for sadness in life. So, let us see how to create positivity in life. Before going ahead, remember that nothing could be achieved easily in life and so as positivity. You must practice it throughout all kinds of situations and thus making it a habit
Choose your companions properly: We live among people, talk with people, eat with people and do everything among humans right? So it is said that we cannot do anything without people and in some way or other, we are always dependent on them. So, be careful in choosing your companions. Always have positive people around you. So, what happens? Whenever you are going towards negative vibes, they will pull you back into positivity.
Read, Read and Read: And when I said read, you must register yourselves in online motivational blogs or motivational magazines. Just keep reading happy things and those books which keep your adrenaline pumping up like high voltage fuse box. And keep those paragraphs in your mind and keep thinking about them again and again. Also if you got time, read hilarious jokes and fun books. Because smile is the best medicine to heal anything in the world.
Ignore the past: because change is inevitable, and whatever situation we are in would change, good to bad or bad to good.. so, there is no meaning in thinking and mourning about the happenings in the past. Just ignore and develop take it easy policy. If you cannot ignore things like losing a loved one, then start to remember beautiful memories with them... at least you cannot lose those memories ever....This makes your mind to stay in peace and peace means being positive.
Think about your previous positive memories: As I always said, your past would surely involve so many beautiful memories and moments that you always wanted to think and cherish. So, start thinking about them and feel happy and believe yourself that those moments would happen again if you are positive about life.
Stop expecting too much: Usually you would have heard from others saying that keep dreaming and aiming high. But what happens in real is when you expect beyond, I mean really far beyond your capabilities, those expectations are broken. So, know your limits, analyze what exactly you want to do in life and take risks just above your limits and you can still achieve big in life. This makes you sure that you reach all your goals and keeping you positively all the time.
Take deep breaths every day for some time: Exercising is very important and if you cannot indulge in full sessions, then make yourself alone for some time and take deep breaths. When oxygen levels are increased in body, it stimulates smooth flow of energy head to toe. Also, do observe your breath. This is a kind of meditation.
Have strong faith: well, I cannot leave without including God in this post.. Trust me when I say this, God makes everything better.. I wouldn't give you pointers about what religions or cultures to follow.. that is up to you...I'm just gonna tell you "Just have strong faith on God. He will help you if your call is genuine enough.. I have seen this wayyyyyyy toooo many times in my life... God is amazing". And when God has your backbone, what is even there to worry about??
Stay Accountable: Make yourself accountable for whatever you do in life whether it is good or bad. When you audit yourself, you would do no or less mistakes, thus less failures and more positivity around. Keep responsibility as core of your determinants.
Keep chanting “I can make it”: Self-confidence is the one which runs the leaders. Never ever lose it. If you face a failure, take it as another opportunity and try to learn more and keep doing it again and again until you hit the right block. Just keep yourself saying you can make it and you can achieve it.
Find Opportunities: At times, we feel that though you have so many skills and still opportunities are not coming. The world is full of opportunities friends. Just search for them. Do not stick to one area. Just keep connecting your circles like a spider’s web. One day or other, you will get one beyond your assumptions.
Don’t run, just face it: The biggest problem of human kind is most of the people when face issues, try to run away from it. But this wouldn’t help because the problem still exists. So, face the problem and just eliminate it forever.
You are the King and Queen of your world: Well, this is a bonus point. Just believe that you are the king and queen of your own world. To develop this habit, you have to
Eat well and stay healthy. Do exercise every day. Remember, everything could be achieved only if you are fit physically.
Treat yourself often. Smile often and buy some nice goodies to yourself.
Call close friends and relatives often for simple tea parties or get together. When people meet, there is always smiles around. If you know someone is toxic, avoid them as much as you can.
Do shopping. Know the latest fashion. If you don’t have money, do window shopping. Not to worry about buying actually. When you see a beautiful model posing on a magazine cover with wonderful clothes, imagine yourself in them and smile. Trust me, it works awesomely. After all, Happiness is one's perception.
Involve yourself in sports clubs. Play outdoor games at least once a week. Sports are one of the greatest gifts for humans to get relaxed and stay fit and they help all the energy that has been weighing inside you and make you feel light...
Last but not the least, live life as if you do not have a tomorrow. Do everything that you can do on one given day, legally of course...
