4th December 2021
Hello hello all you awesome people of read. How has the weekend been for you?
Pretty darn good for me so far, just watched the mighty Rangers win three goals to nil this afternoon. That is four wins from the fours matches that our new manager has been in charge of us. A change for the better and it is proving that not all changes are necessarily a bad thing.
Well, this article is a day late. I got hooked on Spinterlands after a fun day shopping and eating on Friday, so let's have some fun.
Talking of fun, are you reading and entering all these fun competitions that going around on read.cash and elsewhere? I know I have got a list jotted down that I need to write an article on each topic for next week!
So I had my last day at work on Wednesday and am now officially jobless π€£
I think I will take December off and look for something in the New Year. With this market slip dip crash call it what you will, there is money to be made right now in crypto!
So yesterday was Friday and I had to go donate some clothes and bric a brac to some charity shops so I took the opportunity to buy some more chocolates and fresh vegetables from a farmer's stall. His tomatoes are awesome and unlike the UK supermarket tomatoes, they actually taste like well tomatoes. I mean how cool is that, getting food that actually tastes like what it should taste like. I do like to buy from local businesses when I can, it might be more expensive than supermarkets but it tastes better and you are supporting local economies, which is a must in this Covid landscape that we are all in.
Let's go for a wee wander
They have a few stalls up in the High Street for a market. I like to buy what I can from the local vendors. This is the entrance to the area. I loved these blow up guards. I started talking to them (as I do haha) and they moved, well blew in the wind, it was funny though!
They do put up some lights but there tends to be more lights on the trees as this one shows.
I did pop into Waterstones which is a great book shop, and they have some games in there as well. What do you think of this game that I saw?
Haha would you play that?
In fact that had three games with π© as the theme. It did make me laugh and I got some strange looks as I was laughing and taking pictures.
All this shopping and frivolity made me hungry and then time to eat. I had been past this Indian restaurant a few times, and it was suggested we eat, so in we went.
Of course sharing food is a great way to get to taste more. This was a combination of onion bhajis and chicken pakora. Note that is not tomato ketchup, but a spicy tomato based sauce they make!
For the main courses, it was a hot prawn curry and a milder chicken creamy curry with awesome and unusual nan bread which you can see on the left hand side.
All washed down with coffee.
It costs about ten dollars per person so was excellent value. The staff were fantastic and if I want a home delivery of Indian food then I will be ordering from them. It got a 10/10 from me.
On the way home, I did see this awesome bear in festive spirit on top of a bar!
All in all it was a fun Friday. I even started to use the hive actifit app and saw I did 10k steps two days in a row.
I am doing my November review and also looking at who will be getting mystery prizes and I see that I only published an article three days ago, oh well this is going to be a relaxing December for me!
