Are you scout ready?
Are you scout ready?
Philippine Scouting Month is in October. On October 1, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines officially began the commemoration of Philippine Scouting Month.
I adore National Scouting Month. I am one of our school's BSP Coordinators, and this Scouting Month has taught me a lot that I can apply to my daily life.
A Scout is reliable, dependable, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, clean, brave, and respectful, according to the Scout Law, which is essentially a road plan for character development.
A scout is supposed to always be prepared for whatever hurdles they may face along the path and should always be ready at all times.
I can say that I am a good scout leader and mentor to my children based on all the ideals and lessons I learned during my training, but sometimes I wonder if I am also a wonderful scout in my own life.
However, I guess I'm not.
There are so many unforeseen events that could occur. We are unable to predict what may happen to us. We are powerless over so many things, yet they continue to happen.
However, there are some things for which I am aware that I am not yet prepared.
I'm not prepared for money matters:
Because of the events in my life over the previous few years, I can say that I have not yet prepared financially for any potential occurrences. I was deceived, scammed, and made blind by so many things, which is why I'm currently broke.
I'm upset right now that I can't give much money to my uncle, who has been in the hospital for about two weeks because I wasn't financially prepared.
Additionally, my uncle used to be quite strong, but all of a sudden he started to lose strength and developed a serious illness, so I am not prepared for this. He is truly missed around here at our place. I'm hoping he returns home fully recovered and stronger than before.
I have noticed that over the past several days, my body has been weaker due to exhaustion and lack of sleep. But because I have so many responsibilities to complete, I am unable to linger on what I am going through right now. I have to put in a lot of effort every day to accomplish everything I have set out to do.
However, despite the fact that I may not be ready for all of these things, I am managing and handling them with the help of God.
And these are the things I should now remind some of you of.
That we should respond positively and with the help of our God to whatever might happen to us today or what awaits us tomorrow.
I've always thought that everything has a purpose and is only temporary. I am confident that He jas better plans for everything, therefore I will always pray and seek His direction.
How about you? What's up? I hope everything is fine right now. Hold on there; when we believe, everything will better.
We may not be ready now but in time, all things will fall in the right place as long as we continue doing what we can to improve and learn.
