The Biggest Scam In The Philippines "KAPA"
Are you one of the millions of Filipinos who have invested and have been fooled in KAPA before? This is said to be one of the biggest investment scam scandal in The Philippine history. By using their religious ministry, they have earned trust from a lot of investors with a promise of 30% monthly return from their investment. The financial investment fraud started way back from 2016. They have started by recruiting new members and the new members will recruit another too. The cycle goes on.
The KAPA started as "Kapa-Co Convenience Store and General Merchandise" and was renamed in March 2017 as 'Kapa Community Ministry International Inc.' While KAPA was still early, a lot of good testimonies was heard from the people who have invested and they were able to build their business due to investing in KAPA. They claimed that KAPA was able to help millions of Filipino people to raise money.
Many people cried. Many people killed themselves after they found out that they have been scammed. The news about it have become a widespread and hot topic in the whole country. Many have invested for the plan of building a business of their own one day and many invested for the plan of sending their child to college one day. Sadly, it didn't turned out that way.
KAPA has this tagline: Kabus Padatoon. It's a Cebuano word translated in English as "Making the Poor Rich."
This is too good to be true. Is there really a way for instant rich? Even in the crypto you cannot say you will invest a lot today and you'll expect that you'll become rich soon. The group behind this huge fraud collected a total of PHP 50 billion $957,075,150.00 by just doing illegal investments. It's sad to say that many people fell in the trap. Due to the lack of awareness and education about scams, Filipinos have been easily fooled and lured by the promise of making their lives better.
Few of the people who have invested sold houses, land and even motor vehicles just to join and expand their investment. They never knew that they would be crying blood and sleeping on the bed of nails. They want the money to be back even there's no interest anymore. Sadly, investors weren't able to retrieve their money back. What's gone is already gone. The funniest thing here is that some members of the big fraud denies that it's a scam investment and claimed that it was a religious ministry, as if they have not lose any money.
The founder of the biggest investment scam scandal in the Philippines is a Pastor. Who would think that a pastor who loves to share wisdom and encouragement is the one who is responsible for starting the fraud? Joel Apolinario, a pastor who created a religious ministry to help the poor become rich have really attracted many people to join. It is scary how people hide their whole identity just to gain the trust of others. Just like the other criminals, the head of the biggest scam in the Philippines was also arrested and last year he have even tried to file a certificate to apply for election candidacy.
I hope that the biggest scam in the Philippines served as a lesson not only to the whole Filipinos but also to the entire world. We shouldn't easily believe to what the others say no matter how encouraging would it be. We should be very wise and vigilant at all times. Money is temporary but losing a huge money by a wrong move is such a painful experience for a lifetime. We all want our lives to become better and that's why we invest because we want to plan the future. It is very important to be educated when it comes to money and not only you but also the people around you who have no knowledge about it. Scams and frauds never end, in fact they are everywhere.

Another great one. Wow, this was interesting. I've never heard of that one till now. My wife and I lost about $30,000+ USD from the scam I told you about. It's will take a long time to make it up. I can't imagine committing suicide over it though.
