Society nowadays have many standards about many things... and most of those standards, should not exist at all.
First of all, beauty should not have any standard. Every single person is pretty.
Beauty industries
I saw an amazing quotation that says "How many people would go out of business, if we get up tomorrow and decide to love ourselves?" This is specially intended to women. Men usually do not pay that much attention to beauty standard. Nowadays women think that they have to be shawed all the time, to be dressed well all the time, to be happy all the time, to have make up on all the time, to have their hair done in a style of beuty queen, all the time.
Women think that they have to be skinny, tall, to have curves, but at the same time to have tiny waist, to have long tiny neck, perfect eyebrows, big eyes, big lips...
And, you know what?
They do not have to!
Women do not have to look good al the time. It is okay to be in a bad mood, to be on your period, to be sad, to be mad, to spend all day in your pajamas, watching favorite TV show. You are not a robot, who is made to be same all the time. You have the right to feel and to look however you wanna look.
You do not have to torture yourself with all those products all the time.
If you want to wear make up, wear it! If you want to have your hair up in a messy bun, have it. With your own body, you can do whatever you want to do.
There are many beauty industries, that are constantly making new products that they are trying to sell to us. New razors, new hair byes, new make up, new clothes, new implants for our bodies... so many new things that women can like a lot. But, it is okay to be sick of all those things.
In case that you are sick of all those things, you do not have to buy them, and what is most important, you do not have to use them.
You are not going ot be less femine, and less woman if you do not dye your hair. You are not going to be less pretty if you od not shave your legs. Your make up is not what makes you sexy...
Accept your changes, accept yourself just as you are. Mood swings, bad hair days, days when you do not want make up, days when you do not want to was your legs... days, months, years...
Love yourself, no matter how you look like today!
Stand up for your rights
Here is one example, just one, and there are so many examples that we can talk about.
At first contraception pills were made for men. They were supposed to be taking them, in order to prevent pregnancy. And, guess what? They tried, and they rejected them? Why? Because those pills were making some changes on their bodies and in their moods, that they did not like at all. Long story short, those pills are harmful, and men rejetcted ot make harm to their bodies.
After that happened, scientists changed a couple things about those pills, and now, they are for women. They are doing the same changes to women. But, guess what? Nothing. No story about rejecting. No story about women who rejected. No story about changing pills, no story about finding new contraceptive thing that will be doing the same job as contraceptive pills.
There are also many other examples where women did not stand up for their rights. That is not good at all.
I mean, I od not hate men, they are great! They are fighting for their rights. Women should learn from men.
Disabilities
There are many people with disabilites all around the world. It seems to me that men are accpeting disabilies easier than women. That is alos not good at all.
If you have a disability, you should not think about yourself as a person who cannot do something, who cannot be something, who cannot get somewhere.
You can!
Fight for your rights!
Stand up for what you want, and you will show to yourself and you will find to others that you can everything what you want.
I really think that people with disabilites do not have any special needs, they just have some problems to fill their needs, because society is not helping them enough. Because of that, I would love to talk about the attitude of society about disabilites, instead of talking about disabilites.
Disability is not a problem, the problem is our attitude about disabled people.
That has to change!
Your body is amaizng
Your body is really amazing, no matter are you short, tall, skinny, fat, curty, not curvy.
Accept your body, and love your body.
There is one quotation that say "Your body is your only home, your soul and your mind cannot live anywhere else. Because of that your body is your temple, and you need to adore it as much as you can".
When you realize that, you will be much happier. Happiness is coming from the inside.
Accept yourself. Your body and your mind.
Everything will be much easier.
That was my long story short about women who think that they are not perfect, about womem who do not love themselves enough, and who are not happy with who they are.
I hope that you will love yourself tomorrow more than you loved yourself today.
You deserve that!
