What are the consequences of applying an artificial intelligence system?
Artificial Intelligence has long been the subject of various discussions, debates, and often conflicting opinions and views. There is a lot of mystification on the topic of artificial intelligence, which is largely due to books and films that show an apocalyptic future in which artificial intelligence takes all the power into its own hands and endangers the existence of humanity.
On the other hand, it is good to keep in mind that these are commercial works of art that aim to attract the attention of viewers and, as the ultimate goal, should make money.
There are several approaches to the field of artificial intelligence and therefore more different definitions of what artificial intelligence really is. One definition is that artificial intelligence is actually shape recognition. From this definition, it could be concluded that any system that can recognize two different forms is intelligent. This is just one of the possible approaches and surely many will have a completely different opinion.
What can be said with certainty is that the purpose of artificial intelligence is to replace man in certain segments of intellectual activity.
During the industrial revolution, machines were used to replace man in the fields of physical labor, while in the information revolution, information technology and artificial intelligence replaced man in intellectual activities.
For now, the application of artificial intelligence is at a relatively low level and is far from reaching the intellectual capacities of man. It is difficult to estimate how fast it will develop further.
According to available information, Russia is developing a system that uses artificial intelligence to track and analyze transactions involving cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoin, dash and monero. According to sources, a prototype system has already been created and is in the testing phase.
In addition to monitoring financial transactions in fiat currencies, cryptocurrency monitoring functionality has been added to the system, which is expected to be operational soon. What is interesting is that artificial intelligence is included in the monitoring system, which has not been the case so far.
This means that all transactions, including cryptocurrency transactions, will be continuously monitored and analyzed by the artificial intelligence system. According to the algorithms, suspicious transactions will be identified and forwarded for further processing and analysis. More interestingly, algorithms are created using machine learning systems. This means that the system itself learns, draws conclusions and improves the algorithms it uses. In a word, a system is being developed that will have almost complete control over the financial market, including the control of cryptocurrencies.
Great minds such as Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk have expressed serious concerns about the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of humanity. Whether artificial intelligence will really destroy humanity or create a perfect world in which all routine intellectual work will be done by computers, we will find out in the future, which may not be so far away.
i think it is hard for most of us to fathom the idea of a world where we are mostly playing a passive role. I think the scarier moments will come when the passivity becomes apathy and we know longer want to hold the mantel of watchers of our own creations. Thats when we are gunna lose fast.
