Celebration.
Why do we even celebrate things?
Is it really compulsory to do so?
Will the world stop spinning if we choose not to celebrate?
Do we need to spend thousands worth of money just to show that we really did some celebrations?
Is t necessary to invite everyone whenever we do this?
Okay, I am so sorry for those series of questions above. Upon reading the mechanics of doc @LykeLyca 's giveaway. I have discovered that the topic must be all about celebration and it actually made me stop and leads me to some reflections.
When we hear about the word celebration. What is the first thing that would pop out from your imaginative and creative mind?
This is so timely for me since we just celebrated two consecutive birthdays last September 14 and September 16 (just yesterday) in our home. It was my aunt's and counsin's birthday that we commemorated. However, I will not be focusing on the big celebrations like birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, Christmas, new year , fiestas and etc. What I am going to share in this article will be all about the small and unnoticeable ones.

Things that deserves to be celebrated too...
New Day
Not everyone are blessed enough to be able to witness the rising of the sun. Therefore, if you are one of those blessed people, then don't forget to atleast spare a short time before you start your day with prayer and thanksgiving. Give thanks to the Lord for His goodness and mercy that is new every morning as well.
Air to breath
This is one of the least appreciated blessing that God have bestowed unto us. It may seem so common, but having an air to breathe in is already a big gift to us by the Lord. Especially to those people who live in rural area and was able to inhale a clean and fresh air everyday.
Food
"Don't waste foods. Lot of kids out there are dying because of starvation." That was the line of my mother when I was younger. To be honest, I really don't understamd her back then. But when I grow older, I started to value things especially the foods. I've seen how people are dying every single day because of hunger. And it is really breaking my heart into pieces. That's why, if I got the chance to help them, I would really grab the opportunity to do it.
Shelter
If you have a house where you can rest and be comfortable in, then consider yourself lucky. Many people are living in the street-homeless. Having no walls and a roof to protect you from the heat of the sun and heavy drops of the rain is very difficult. Appreciate your house. May it be big or small, simple or mansion. As long as it gives you security and shelter, it is worth celebrating.
Clothes
Imagine the children roaming around the street with no clothes in their body. Bearing the coldness of the rain and scorching heat of the sunrays. Stop complaining if your parents can't buy you the clothes you want. You have no idea how lucky you are compare to those poor kids out there.
Functioning and healthy Body
Isn't it amazing to have a healthy and well functioning body? Having this amidst of this pandemic is already a blessing. Take care of your body. Drink a lot of water, eat fruits and vegetables and drink vitamins everyday. We only have one body. Treasure it.

Closing Thought
Celebration doesn't need to be luxurious. You can celebrate these things just by being grateful and contented about it. Above all, don't forget to thank the one who gives all of those things to you. Don't forget to give thanks to God.
