"You will not graduate."
“Kindness begins with the understanding that we all struggle.”
Happy Thursday everyone. I hope we are already living our best lives and staying happy. Someone said there would be dark days but the moment we understand the logic of staying happy, those darkest moment of our lives would give in light. This means we can only control our happiness which resides in us but haven't yet realize it. Be happy always even when there isn't any way, but trusting God and happy are the way out. Good morning lovelies ♥️
There are some kind of beings in the world that their lifestyles is to be unkind to others and treat them in a cruel manner. They do not have an inch of kindness in them and they are ready to destroy one's life at the end. These sets of people have made up their minds to delete mercy from their personalities. No matter how much you beg them or even send higher authority to them, they will still stand on their grounds.
I just can't imagine if they have children also who will one day need help. How would they feel when they see their children being treated the same way they do unto others. Do unto others as you would want them to do for you. If you sow kindness, you reap it.
There is this lecturer in my school that will never accept apology or begging just because they find Joy in destroying student's lives, forgetting that they were once a student too. Just because you are in the position today, you start misbehaving and misusing it. It's better if you are using your principle in the right way but when it is being abused or misused, it is another thing else. This means you are cruel and wicked.
This man has only one statement and would always stand on it, he meant his word whenever he says it and he will make sure he see to it to the end. The word is "You will not graduate."
How on earth would you see a student like your child not graduating after many years of struggle and striving in the school? Some students are sponsoring themselves with their livelihood and means of living. Some, their parents are struggling hard to gather the money and a lecturer would stand on his word to fail such person at the verge of graduating.
I can only support it if it is used in the right way i.e if such student is caught involving in examination malpractice of any sort, then whatever measures to be given to him or her is indeed okay. No one would be blamed but the student who was cheating. This man will always find one excuse or the other to fail students if eventually you cross his path.
My department was his target when he went for the post of the dean and he won and became one so as to have control over us. In his dictionary, no lecturer can tell him otherwise. Whoever he wants to let go, will go. If you unluckily fall into his den, it's only God that can take you out because this man is ready to go extra miles not letting a student graduate.
We were to have a paper yesterday which we all got to the venue and when we waited and no invigilator was coming, we all went outside and one of the course reps put a call through the owner of the course. When they came, we were told the time table has been changed. What? How come? Wasn't it the right time table we have been using since we started the exam? Everyone started shouting, screaming and blaming the school management for changing the time table without carrying us along. At least we are fighting for our rights.
Then, this man came. On seeing him, my friend said, the only thing he would say is "you will not graduate." She was right because he said it but in another way. According to him, if we want to graduate with ease and slowly, we should keep quiet and listen to what other lecturers were saying. We all kept mute because who wants to have an extra year? I can never and God will not allow it.
That was how we left the scene when we were told it has been shifted to Friday which is tomorrow because according to them, that is what is on the college time table. Our question then was "Who sent us the timetable we were using before yesterday?"
They were at fault but we were been deprived of our own rights to speak out but threatening us with not graduating which this man is ready to do what he says.
I know he has children and he knows how hard it is for one to go through Education for years but at the end, just a little mistake with the man will delay his graduation. He is so bold and confident that no one can bring him down but one thing I know for sure which do happen to people like them. There is God who can overpower them even if they think they have power and can't be brought down.
To crown it all, I believe we have people like them in all tertiary institutions and I would implore all students to thread gently and never cross their boundaries so they can graduate with others at the right time.
Thanks for reading.

The length some people will go to ruin another's person's life most times can't be measured, we all have those people in life who don't want to see us make it even after seeing our unending struggles, some come in the face as lecturers, neighbors, colleagues, friends, families and even strangers. May God always deliver us from those people.
