What does social interaction means? It's the ability to interact with other people in a social setting. For example, in school, you can have the teachers interact and have some sort of interaction with the students, an employer interacting with his or her employees at work, couples interacting with each other, children and parents interaction, friends gisting together etc.
It can come in form of smiling, frowning, nodding of one's head, gestures and so on. We just can't do with interacting with the social beings around us.
ASPECT OF SOCIAL INTERACTION
Social Media: This is the internet that is used for socializing. You might have social networks, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest etc. You can post pictures on Facebook and Twitter. In this case, I might just tell you to check my post on the internet- Social interaction has taken place because I just interacted with you through the social media.
In our everyday life, we engage in social contact with our peers. We can go to the mall, meet with our friends, and the park. We just need to make sure that we are interacting.
Social interaction can be used in several ways. First, to have fun and relax. Second, for our children to learn, practice, grow up, play, enjoy ourselves, have good time, etc. Third, if you want to be successful, make it fun. Fourth, is to get the most out of social connections. Fifth, it can help to socialize and build your community. Now that's what social is all about.
If you have a computer at home, you have Social Networks which are in two ways; One is Facebook, the other is Twitter. You can make your day fun by interacting with different kinds of people all over the world.
Social networking is an excellent way to build relationships with your peers, your family, the world. Think about all the time you spend social networking, and then think about how much you're spending. Well, that just shows the power of Social Connectivity.
Another way we interact is through earning platforms like noise.cash and read.cash and some other platforms like Hive, Publish.ox, Torum etc.
Many of us are on noise.cash and we keep hearing a statement like "I am making noise". It's not the normal shouting and screaming in the house or wherever you may be, your noise is your interaction with friends and families on the platform. You interact by posting, commenting and replying posts.
Same also on read.cash. Our interactions on both platforms has earned us and made us benefited in one way or the other for months. We have made friends who, we have shifted our conversations from the platform to other social media like WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord where we have fun, share our daily lives, talked about our relationship with families, friends, and partners.
The benefits of social interaction are so great that if we don't use it, then we can't make the best use of it. If we're using it properly, there will be some positive benefits. The benefits are; you get to meet new people and make friends. You get a lot of friends and this will build your confidence. If you make a good friend, it will help you and if this happens, maybe you meet a new person who you might get into a friendship with.
Again, with Social Connection, there are no limits. You can start a business, start your career, and make a name for yourself in your chosen field. To some, through social interaction both online and offline, it has made them have a mutual relationship that has lasted for many years and some are just starting their journey of love.
In the society, we can't do without interacting with people because we meet new people everyday especially those with similar characteristics with us. We want to rob minds together, think and create ideas together, work together to achieve a goal. How do you meet up with all these if you do not interact? We meet every individual daily to share opinions on a particular project either at work or any organization we might find ourselves.
Our daily interaction should be positive towards each other and not creating any rift among ourselves. The fun part of every interaction is to make peace and be united in love and not having grudges against anyone. What then is the purpose of interaction if we can't meet together to share goals?
Remember, every human beings are from different races, cultures, religions and with individual differences. We need to come together to understand ourselves, to be initiated to our different cultures which is known as "Acculturation". This is a process of learning another person's culture. Social interaction among us should create love and not enmity.

Social Media Interaction is now a days most effective way of interaction that is effective the mind and routine of others rapidly. It has positive and negative both effects. After reading your article I feel as my sociology lecturer is elaborating the topic of social interaction :)
