1. Sweet and sour chicken with pineapple
Sweet and sour chicken with crispy chicken, pineapple and peppers! The recipe for sweet and sour chicken with pineapple, or Sweet and Sour Chicken, is a much easier recipe than most people think! With this recipe you will make sweet and sour chicken the same or even better than what you buy from Chinese restaurants!
Ingredients:
1 large chicken breast cut into 2-3 cm pieces
1 cup pineapple chunks
2 red peppers, cut into strips
2 green peppers, cut into strips
1 onion , diced
2 carrots cut into short flat strips
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup ketchup
4 tsp soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup flour
2 beaten eggs
Sunflower oil for frying
Step by step cooking recipes
Whisk together the sugar, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic in a small bowl.
Pour sunflower oil into a pan to a height of 1 cm. Heat the oil over medium-high heat. Pour the breadcrumbs into a bowl and add the chicken pieces. Then put them in the pan and let them brown on both sides for 1-2 minutes. Then take out the chicken pieces and leave them on a piece of parchment paper. Do not use kitchen paper.
Dip the pieces in the beaten eggs and then in the flour and put them back in the pan in hot oil. Cook the chicken for around 2-3 minutes, until cooked through and crispy. Then take out the chicken pieces and leave them a piece of parchment paper. Do not use kitchen paper. When done remove all but one tablespoon of the oil from the pan.
Add the peppers, carrots, onion and pineapple to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes. Then add the sauce you made in STEP 1 and toss to coat the pieces and cook for 30 seconds. Finally add the chicken pieces and stir until the sauce thickens for about 20 minutes. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions.
2. Pan fried Oyster Mushroom
A very tasty way to enjoy Pleurotou!
Servings : 1 Degree of difficulty : Easy
Ingredients:
500 gr. Oyster mushrooms
5 g. olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
50 g. green onion
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp white wine
2 tsp salt
1/3 tsp pepper
1 tsp oregano

Step by step cooking recipe
Finely chop the green onion and the garlic cloves and put them in the pan over medium heat together with the olive oil. We don't want them to wither but to soften.
Coarsely chop the mushrooms slowly and then add them to the pan. Mix them well and close the lid, letting them drain their water.
Once the mushroom water has almost evaporated, open the lid and add the vinegar, wine, salt, pepper and oregano and mix well with a wooden spoon. As soon as the mixture is spread everywhere and the mushrooms are slightly browned, our food is ready!
