And I just got off work. Yeah, it is that weird time when I have to finish one task because it will affect my work next day if I don't. Good thing this new thing that I am learning is way faster than the old one that I was using. If I am a little more cracked in the head, I could have been done in just less than thirty minutes. But adding a little factor of fear and precaution, I decided to do it gently. I don't think I would want to cause any issue with the performance of the server I am working on even though it is already off working hours. I do not think I would like to listen to an earful of woes should I trigger something I should not.
Today was ordinary as usual and as regular. It is my fourth day of wanting to wake up early and start early but always getting off the bed just in time for a relaxed breakfast, a silent sip-session with a hot cup of brew and then logging in to nine to six. Besides, the cool night last night will really make you want to hug that pillow tighter. Except that when it was finally around 8:30-ish, the sun was already shining bright and with full-on smile. It did not take long to feel the warmth or should I say heat. But that is good since a lot of places probably need that heat to help with the flooded areas.
So I snuck out for an errand middle of the day today. Had to do it before Kiko comes in and most likely will further make me feel lazy and the seniors already need their meds. It took me a lot of courage to go out this time. When the virus hits really close to home, it makes you doubt if it is really safe out there. But we cannot let the current situation leave us imprisoned and paralyzed in fear. Brave and with mind set full on as a warrior, I brought my usual stuff with me:
my small 10L back pack. I am not sure why but it is one of the things I cannot leave the house without. I can leave with just my purse with me but, no, I have to grab that back pack with my cam, my pen, my notebook, etcetera. Now that I am recalling it, I find myself getting weirded out.
my phone
a small bottle of alcohol spray
my mask
my shield
I did grab something else, though.
A can of Lysol. Yep, you read that right. Specifically that Crisp Linen scent. This is by far the most friendly to my nose. The other scents will give me headache big time. I sprayed a lot inside my car.
When I got to the drug store, I needed to write my details before I go inside. I mean where's the QR code instead? I stared at the pen on the make shift table and I had to kill my imagination real quick, else I will not move a muscle at all. I filled up the piece of paper quick. I got inside and took a number. That number sheet also got me looking at it for few seconds before grabbing it. My only comfort is that the place did not have many customers that time. It is not the usual drug store I visit. I am refraining from visiting the area that I used to go to for now.
Agenda number two, picking up some necessary papers. So I went back in and sprayed some more Lysol. Huh.
Along the long way to agenda number two and home I was thinking of my overly done precautions. I am sure I am not the only one.
Funny how this pandemic changed our everyday lives. People used to use perfumes and colognes and they have their preference when going out. Coming out of the car ang smelling like Lysol got me laughing to myself.
I do not use perfumes regularly. There were only a few scents that are friendly to my nose. If I use the wrong one, it will be hard for me to breathe and that would also be a sneeze fest. There is one that I liked way way back. It was Incanto Shine. I got introduced to it through a friend in the old office. It was also what we hunt for during Hong Kong days in the shop Bonjour where the samples are sold.
What is your scent these days?
I will probably be hanging this one in front of my fan .. .
Pew pew pew pew update....
Again, for this game, I need to be able to do 100% complete for three consecutive days as mentioned in my article yesterday. The progress resets at 12 am. I need to get that hundred per cent recorded and saved before that reset. It is not hard and it will not take you too long to get that one hundred per cent completion of I do not know what. If you score a lot and level up a lot in one game, you'll probably get 100% in less than 30 minutes. I have not timed my game time but I'd say for today this was less than an hour. One some twenty minutes around lunch time before I snuck out to do some errands and one another some same twenty minutes sneaking in a game at the latter part of what I was finishing for the nine to six.
Tallying my progress so far:
Day 1 : $4.27
Day 2: $4.51
In my math, picks a calculator that is a total of $8.78. But from the screenshot below, it says, $9.02 for total payout. I am not going to complain about that extra cents. No, sir. Care to join me? I am yet to see the pay out and how long it will be paying out.
(Edit: the link led to an error page. Apparently, the moment I clicked publish, the game was on maintenance)
Ending here, Read-itizens. I am really giving myself some time off pressuring myself about something to write so giving you for the nth time some ramblings for now. Adios and see you tomorrow!
