$340 in the month of March
*How did I do in terms of my earnings on both platforms? Did I really do a great job and reach my goals?*
Hey, guys! How's your day? Mine was so-so, a day well spent, but there's no wow factor, lol! Anyways, for today's article, I will be sharing with you how much I earned on both platforms in the month of March. I am 3 days too late because most of you have already done this on the first day of the month. But as they say, it's better to be late than never/sorry, right?
First and foremost, I think I did a job well done because I was able to write an article every day for the whole month. And I am still aiming for one article a day this month. I am so determined that even though I kept on telling myself not to write anything for one day, I would still end up in front of my laptop and tap the keyboard nonstop until I finished an article. How could I not be so determined when I kept on emptying my wallet every two days? Yes, every two days, I convert my earnings here and my earnings in noise. I need cash for my medicine and other necessities in our house. So my dream of having to hold a 1 BCH+ is still a long way off. But I'm confident that I will be able to do so soon!
So now, let's see how much I earned with those 31 articles.

My articles' average payment ranges from $6 to $8, so I am really happy when I see that my work is being paid more than that. Despite the fact that I have the least paid articles, I am still happy as long as Rusty still visits my articles. There was a time when it took 12 hours before Rusty upvoted my article, and I was so nervous that he was not going to pay for it, and I thought that my account might be labeled as spam because that's what usually happened to my previous accounts. And I was so relieved when I saw that he had upvoted it.
For the whole month of March, I earned a total of $340.36 or 17,018 pesos.
Read.cash - $263.54 / 13,177 pesos
Noise.cash - $76.82 / 3,841 pesos
It was almost 1 bch for the whole month of March, "was," because they've now turned into receipts. I am so happy that I was able to earn such an amount even though I just stayed at home all day. And I am proud of myself because of that.
Sponsors
My appreciation for these kind people's continued support never wavers, even if I can't read their articles on a regular basis. Another names were added to my sponsor's block, thank you @Talecharm and @Micontingsabit for your sponsorship. I am deeply honored and more inspired to do my part as a writer.
Goal for the month of April
My goal this month is to at least earned $250, to write 1 article per day and to read at least 10 to 15 articles a day. There are times that I am so lazy to even read one article and would just visit my article and reply to comments, and I promise not to do that again. I will do my best to interact to everyone and be more active.
***Setting a goal will give you something to look forward to at the end of the day. It will help you stay motivated to do your best to achieve it. It's the one key to succeeding in everything you do.***

Coffee and Writing
A very humid afternoon to all of you lovely people! I have been contemplating for hours whether I would do my monthly report as I always do or just write another random thing of mine. But the fact that I have not yet checked or done the list of how much I have earned on both platforms, I opted not to do so and instead pushed through with another random article for today. Although I have seen many articles written by my dear friends about their earnings for the whole month of March, my curiosity kicked in and I will probably do mine tomorrow.
I have already spent almost an hour reading articles, and to be honest, most of the articles I have opened won't really sink into my mind, so I left no comments. Instead, I hit the like button and occasionally left a tip. My apologies to everyone.
Last night, my sister Katy called me, saying that she had already had her PDOS via Zoom. It is one of her requirements for going abroad, and it means her departure is approaching. I am happy and a bit sad at the same time. As you all know, I am close to my sister, and almost every day, she would call me and we would talk about random stuff that was going on in our lives, or sometimes we just joke around and make fun of each other. And once she goes to Hong Kong, that will be a different story because she has work to prioritize. But I am happy because she had been waiting for this moment.
She was an OFW before, and because of the pandemic, she wasn't able to return to her employer. It took two years of waiting for her to finally go back to work abroad. She can now pay her debts that were left and right. By "left and right", what I mean was she has debts from different people and also from online lenders who offer quick loans that do not require special requirements and can lend you money in just 10 minutes. I don't know where she got the guts and was not afraid to lend money everywhere.
But I can totally understand her. Her husband's salary was not enough to sustain their needs and rent, plus the monthly bills. But still, I am always giving her an earful every time I find out that she has lent money again. And what irritates me is that sometimes I receive a call from the lenders, telling me that my sister was not able to pay her debts and could not be reached, so they called me instead. And she was doing her best to pay them on time, and I kept reminding her not to lend money to those online lenders again because they will squeeze you to death if you don't pay them.
And now, here's the thing: she applied for a loan again. **facepalm** But this time it is from an NGO that offers a loan to OFWs who weren't able to go back abroad because of the pandemic. It also has a small interest and is payable for two years, or it depends on the lender how many years he/she wants to pay back the loan.
She got help from her neighbor, who had already availed of the loan. She has now had her webinar appointment and is now pre-qualified for the said loan. All she has to do is to pass the interview and the money will be sent to her in Cebuana. The loan is worth sixty thousand pesos, and she told me that she would give me ten thousand for my medical needs. And she said that I have to pay for it (dinamay pa ako). But knowing my sister, I know that she would not oblige me to pay the said amount. I am now torn between whether I should pray that she will be lucky enough to get the loan or not, because it means another debt to pay, but anyway, I will just let fate decide.
And it's a wrap. Thank you if you read this randomness until the end. I started writing this over a cup of coffee and am just about to finish the last sip of it. I know, I am not allowed to drink coffee, but I really missed having one and, with a little persuasion to both my daughter and husband, they let me. And I don't know when I will be able to drink again, so I am savoring every sip!

A Grateful Heart Means A Happy Heart
*There is always something to be grateful for in life. From the time you wake up to the time you put your body to sleep at night.*

We received an incoming video call from my brother-in-law, Kuya Dax, as we were about to fall asleep last night. He is my husband's eldest brother. He's in the hospital, caring for their younger brother, who had open-heart surgery just a few weeks ago. I didn't join in on their conversation because it was very seldom for them to talk in such a brotherly manner. So, after greeting them both, I went into our room and left ny husband in the sala. They were happy because their younger brother had survived the operation and was on his way to recovery. They even joke that they will soon be able to have a drinking session. You might be wondering why his brother is looking after him instead of his wife. It was because Dina, my sister-in-law, was handling all of the paperwork and submitting it to PCSO in order to reduce the hospital bills they had to pay. According to what I have heard last night, his hospital bill is 1.8 million pesos, with the PCSO covering half of it so far, leaving them to pay the remaining 900,000 pesos.
He is now free of the disease that has plagued him for so long after two years of waiting. And for that, we are very grateful. And today is also his birthday, he will be celebrating his birthday free from the disease.
Miss Jane, my doctor's secretary, texted me yesterday about the lab results that I posted to their Facebook account the other day. From the time she sent me that message, she said Dr. Jordan was checking on it. I was extremely concerned about the outcome. After all of the medications that my previous doctor prescribed for me, I have a lot of what ifs. What if my kidneys or liver are already failing? I wondered. However, after nearly a half-hour of waiting, I was relieved to receive the next text from them.
All of the results were normal. All of them are within a safe range. There will be no need for any additional medications. I'm extremely happy and relieved. That means that, despite all of the medications I've been taking for the past few months, my body is still in good shape. I believe the miracle fruit juice I've been drinking has played a significant role. And, I intend to keep drinking until supplies run out!
On April 21, 2022, I'll have my next check-up. I'll have to keep taking Mestinon until then. The RNS (Repetitive Nerve Simulation) in Iloilo is the next step, and I need to prepare for it. Hopefully, before my next check-up, I'll be able to accomplish this. I'm also grateful that I'm gaining weight now that I've switched doctors. But, if you know what I mean, I'm not sure if that's something to be grateful for, hahaha!
I rested for a while after finishing all of my chores this morning before taking a bath. I decided to check Facebook, and I'm glad I did because I came across a post from one of the groups I'm a member of. He was giving away a year's worth of Quillbot Premium for free. Wow! I immediately logged in with the account that was provided to me, and voila, I was able to use it.
I'm so grateful, and I left a thank-you message on that post right away. This will be extremely beneficial to me, particularly in terms of writing articles for read.cash. I admit that my grammar is terrible and that I am not an English native speaker. As a result, I will be able to improve my writing with the help of this.
Last but not least, I am grateful to everyone who continues to support me despite my inactivity these days, especially my generous sponsors who continue to renew their love and support for my work. Thank you very much!
I recall the first time I received a sponsorship from someone. I'd forgotten who it was because it had been a year. Sorry.
I was overjoyed, and it felt like all of my hard work had paid off. You know, I wasn't very confident in my work at the time, and I always thought I wouldn't last this long because the majority of the users here are all like professional writers. But that first sponsorship gave me a huge boost in self-confidence. I was then inspired to keep writing and improving myself here on read.cash. And I've been on this platform for nearly two years since that first sponsorship.
Thank you very much, everyone! I wouldn't be here if it weren't for your help and encouragement.
We should have a grateful heart at all times. We should be grateful for everything that is given to us, no matter how big or small it is. That is why I will never grow tired of being grateful for everything that has been given to me. To my friends, both online and in real life, and to my family, I THANK YOU ALL!
***I believe that having a grateful heart means a happy heart.***

Cigarette Smoking Is Dangerous to your Health
Today is the last day of the month, yay! How time flies indeed. Where had all those days gone? Anyway, let's not dawdle about what we have done for this month and be prepared for what the month of April has in store for us. Just so you all know, it's my birth month, so beke nemen, hahaha!
Enough already, let's proceed to my topic today. I happened to read @Lhes article from all those piled-up articles in my notification. I am glad that I did, actually, because it gave me an idea of what to write today. I can relate to her article because I was once a smoker. So I wanted to share a piece of my story about how I started and what motivates me to stop smoking because we all know that smoking is very dangerous to our health.
**DISCLAIMER: CIGARETTE SMOKING IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH**
**Are you a smoker? Why or why not?**
Yes, I was once a smoker and stopped ages ago. I decided to stop when I met my husband. He hates smoking, hence making me stop. I had no problem quitting because I am not what they call a "chain smoker". I only smoke when I am bored or when I have problems. Thank God I wasn't always bored and troublesome before, lol! BUT, when my husband's relationship was put to a test, I went back to smoking again. It has become my companion because I have no one to lean on at those times. And then I quit again. Until now, I had no plans to go back to smoking, obviously.
**Have you tried one?When?How? Why?**
As I said in the first question, yes, I did smoke, and the first time that I had the taste of a cigarette was when I was 15, in my third year of high school. When I transferred to a different school, I met a group of friends who drank and smoked, and they were the ones who influenced me to start smoking. I almost died, coughing, when I took my first puff of a cigarette. My eyes became red and I almost ran out of breath. But that didn't stop me from smoking. Eventually, it stopped. I can no longer remember what urged me to stop.
**Does your family know that you smoke?**
At first, they did not know. But after my Lola died, that is when they found out that I smoked. But they could not do anything to stop me because my mother, father, and stepmother smoked. But still, my father always reminds me that it is not good for my health, so I should stop while I can. But I would tell him to stop too, lol! Oh, I missed that conversation. We ended up exchanging reasons why we should stop, and then my father surrendered and scratched the back of his head. He conceded! I miss you, Papa! May your soul rest in peace in heaven.
Then my husband finds out that I smoked when he cheated on me, and he could not do anything about it for the obvious reason.
**If you were to take two users for a "you break" (smoking session) for some heart-to-heart talk or lung-to-lung conversations, who would those lucky people be? Tag 'em!**
Oh my gosh, I don't know anyone who smokes on this platform, and I don't want to be a bad influence on them, lol! But hey, why not? If I could have a drinking session with them, then let's add smoking, lol! So I am tagging you again @Ruffa , @Eybyoung , @Lhes , @Jeaneth . I don't know if you guys smoke, but I would love to have that moment with all of you. I bet it would surely be a lot of fun. But of course, that's for that moment only and we should not be smoking after that, hehe.
--
As I said, smoking has been my companion when my husband cheated on me. Just imagine, I was crying non-stop while holding a cigarette in my hand, lol! It is not a good sight to look at. But it somehow helped me get through that depression. It helped me lighten up the burden that I had before, but it was also the reason why I had asthma. So please don't try smoking.

What would you do if?....
What would you do if... A question that will surely make you think of an answer or two since it is a hypothetical question.
Anyeong haseyo chingus! It's been 2 hours since I was in front of my laptop, but I still can't think of a topic to write about. And also, this humidity makes me sleepy. But thanks to @kingofreview an idea came to me after reading his article about Five Hypothetical Questions. So without further ado, let's begin the fun! https://read.cash/@kingofreview/five-hypothetical-questions-5c7d0fd8
**What would you do if there happened to be an alien invasion on Earth?**
Of course, I'll try my best to survive. I may not live that long, but at least I did my best. However, if aliens come in peace, which I hope they do, I will try to be as cooperative as I can to live longer. If they want to live on our planet, I think some adjustments can be made for us to live with them harmoniously.
**What would you do if you found out that you were adopted?**
*I guess it depends on how my adoptive parents raised me. If I had been raised with love and treated as if I were their own, I would be both sad and happy.Sad because they might give me back to my real parents. And happy because I am loved.*
**What would you do if you only had one month to live?**
*I will fulfill my bucket list and spend the rest of my days with my family. I will also apologize to the people I have wronged and say thank you to the people who have done so many great things for me.*
**What would you do if a teaspoon of your tears could be used to cure cancer in one person?**
*I would definitely cry like a river, lol! If only it was possible, that would be great, right? I could have saved my mother-in-law, who died of lung cancer years ago. And no one will suffer, especially those kids who, at their very young age, have already suffered from this deadly disease.*
**What would you do if you had the chance to go back in time 100 years ago, or 100 years in the future from now?**
*I will not go back in time, but instead go in the future. I cannot do something in the past because you cannot undo what's in the past. Things cannot be undone. But if I went to the future, I would have a glimpse of what the future would be like. In that way, I will know what to do to have a better future.*
**What would you do if you got too drunk and cheated on your partner? Would you confess?**
*Oh my gosh, hahaha! Okay, this had me think twice because I know my partner very well. But if this happens to me, I will not confess because my partner is a jealous type of guy. He would definitely leave me and take my daughter away from me. That's how he is. I even remember when we were walking in a park near our place. I was only 20 and he was 25 back then. Someone looked at me and he got so jealous, thinking that it was my ex. My gosh, I did not even notice that the guy was looking at me because I was busy with something. So just imagine if I cheated and confessed!*
**What would you do if your only options were to live in jail for the rest of your life or die now?**
*I'd rather die, because spending your life in jail is not living either. That's just not dying. At least if I died, I could no longer suffer the suffering that I could experience if I was in jail for the rest of my life. And I also believe in life after death. Whether I'll go up or down depends on how I spend my life. At least I will have something to look forward to after I die.*
--
If you happen to read this until the very end, thank you! This is just another question and answers article from yours truly. I was so not focused today. Maybe because it is the end of the month or maybe I am just so lazy, hehe! Anyway, I survived another day.
I'm looking forward to a better article next month! You can do it self!

Vis, Needle and a Selfie!
I sold my Vis yesterday at a very low price. I had no other choice because I desperately needed money. As I said in my article yesterday, my money was not enough for a blood chem, so I needed to find other ways. And one of them was selling my Vis. I had a total of 2,717.5 Vis at the price of $11.85. I earned it by playing Pegaxy for a month. So little, and you might think that it is not worth it to play for a month with so little earning potential, right? But I got it for free, so it's okay, and besides, it is a no-brainer game. You are not going to be stressed out by playing it.
Since I don't have a Binance account, I asked many people to help me sell my Vis, and one of them was @bmjc98. I am so happy that she gladly helped me with the transactions. She told me to convert my Vis to USDC and then send it to her Binance account where she would sell it. I was so nervous while doing the process because it was my first time converting a token to another token, and I am not so confident with what I am doing, lol! I was glad that Mj was there to walk me through the process. She then sent the money to my Gcash account after I successfully sent her the USDC. I am so lucky to have friends who are willing to help me in this crypto world, hehe.
So this morning, I finally had my blood chem. I should have been at the lab facility by 6 am because I needed to take my meds at 7 am, but due to an unforeseen situation with regard to my withdrawal of money from Mlhullier, I went there at 8:30 am. And I was already hungry. I can feel my tummy grumbling because I fasted from last night until this morning. There were no other patients at the lab when we arrived. So I went directly to the reception area and handed the request form to the lady in white clothing. She then told me to pay for it, and after that, she guided me to the room where they needed to draw blood from me. I am so nervous, though this is not the first time. My husband was making fun of me, telling me how big the needle was. And I am giving him the death stare! lol! The process did not take a while, and the guy who drew my blood had a gentle hand. I did not feel any pain when he inserted the needle. I only feel pain in the area where he inserted the needle after the process. I was told that the result would be available after two hours.
I rested for a while after that, and my husband took our selfie, lol!
After that, we went home, and I had my breakfast. I was so hungry that I ate a lot, lol!
My husband went back to the lab facility by 10 am to get the result. And here it is. I then sent it to my doctor through her messenger, just as she instructed me to do. I also sent a text message to her secretary about it and she acknowledged it. She told me that Dra. Jordan would check it later. But as of this moment of writing, at 4:22 pm, I still have not received a message from her. Maybe she is still busy. But her secretary told me to expect a message from her today. So I'll be patiently waiting then. I just hope that everything is fine, that everything is normal with regards to the result.

In Health, Money Matters
Good day, read-tizens! How's your Monday? The month of April is drawing near. It's my birth month, yay! Another year will be added and reality will slap me in the face that I am not getting any younger anymore. lol! Let's not talk about my age anymore and proceed to what my article is really about.
I had to get up early this morning because I needed to go to the lab facility where I would be having my blood chem. And it is required to fast from 9 p.m. last night until 7 a.m. this morning. I should not take anything, not even water. I could not even gargle my mouth with water. We arrived at 6:30 and there was a long queue. I did not anticipate that it would be that long since it was still early, but I guess many people are sick these days. When I arrived there, I had to fill out forms with the usual protocols of the clinics or hospitals. I was then told to go inside and wait for my number to be called. My number is 21, so it took a while before I was called. Most of the patients there were elderly. While I waited, I prayed that the price of the blood chem would be the same as when I had my first blood chem last year, which was 2,600 pesos, because you know how prices of products and services fluctuate these days.
When the lady in blue called my number, I sat in the chair in front of her and handed her the forms that I had filled out and the blood chem request from my doctor. And then I asked her very discreetly how much it would cost. She checked it on the computer, and after a while, she told me that it cost 3,800 pesos. I was surprised, like wow, from 2,600 to 3,800 pesos. I opened my wallet and counted the money that I had, even though I knew how much money I had. I had three thousand pesos with me but was 800 pesos short, so I asked the lady if it was okay if I paid three thousand pesos upfront and the remaining 800 when the results came in. But she said no.
So I told her that I would come back when my money is enough for the blood chem and take back the request form from her. I went out to where my husband was waiting. He could not enter the clinic because he had no face shield. I told him that my money was not enough and that I was short of 800 pesos. Then he told me that we would look for other labs that may be a bit cheaper than Medicus, the name of the lab.
Luckily, we found one that was 300 pesos cheaper than the first one. But when I asked if I could pay three thousand pesos upfront and the remaining 500 pesos when the result is out, unfortunately, she also said no. So I had no choice. At least I found a much cheaper lab than the first lab that I went into.
And to be able to raise the money, I sold my Vis with the help of MJ. I asked many friends to help me sell the Vis that I had. Yen also replied and said she would help me sell my VIS, but she was busy at the moment that I asked her, and I told her that we could do it later because I'd need the money for tomorrow, so no need to rush. But Mj replied and told me to swap my Vis to USDC and send it to her, and she would sell it. As of this moment of typing, I had sent the USDC to her, but because polygon is so slow, it will take a while before it reflects in her wallet.
And so tomorrow, I could go back to the lab and finally have blood chem. My doctor is patiently waiting for it. She instructed me to send the outcome to her via messenger as soon as I received it. It is convenient for me because I don't need to go to the hospital.
--
It is very hard to get sick these days because everything is pricey, from the lab, medicines, hospitalization and even doctor's consultation. And not just that, not only your wallet suffers, but also your body and mind. You will be stressed out over everything, making you sicker. So please, be healthy, practice a healthy lifestyle and save for your medical expenses in the future because it is inevitable to get sick.
Wealthy sick & healthy poor do not enjoy living

Rest day on Sunday? Nah...
Last night, I told myself that I am not going to write anything today. That I would spend the entire day resting. That is why I slept very late last night because I intended to wake up late since it was Sunday. However, things happened the opposite way. This morning, I was awakened by the loud sounds coming from the vehicles that were roaming around our barangay. They were playing the campaign jingles of their candidate in the coming election. The local campaign period started on March 25th, and so they have already started woeing every voter that they could get. Different tactics just to get every voter on their side. I even saw people distributing coffee and bread this morning when we went to the market.
Well, since I was already up, I prepared our breakfast, which is garlic rice, sunny-side-up eggs, and hotdogs. My daughter asked for it last night, and because we had so much leftover rice, I decided to cook it before it went bad. After my husband and I had breakfast, I started playing my Pega while checking my noise.cash and read-cash accounts. An hour later, we went to the market to buy our viands.
After we had lunch, I don't know what happened, I was so occupied with random stuff that needed to be done.
I was supposed to have a rest day today. A day of doing nothing, my lazy day. I planned to just eat, watch, and sit, then repeat. When I was still single, every day was a rest day for me, especially when I was a student. Weekends are my days because, aside from the fact that I have a break from school, that is also the time that I get to sleep until noon. My grandma let me. She was very considerate, thinking that I was so stressed out at school that I needed rest. Maybe that was the reason why my Titas and Titos were so annoyed: I was my Lola's favorite. They always call me "tamad" or "lazy." And then they would let me do the dishes from morning till night. We were 25 in the house, so just imagine how many piled-up dishes I needed to wash every time. That's how they would get back at me for being my Lola's favorite.
Those were the days, I suddenly miss my Lola. Rest days have been a myth to me since the time I reached adulthood. Rest day, ano yun, nakakain ba yun? hahaha! Especially now that I have become a wife and a mother. There are no vacation days, no contract expirations, and you can't even resign, lol! So, sana all may rest day on Sunday! Sunday is the day that I am the busiest. Don't ask me, I don't know why either, hehe!
Anyway, that's life, na talaga, especially when you become a mother. Of course, it is my responsibility that they are well fed. Of course, the money comes from my husband. That they are comfortable living in a clean house. Despite the hard work of being a mother, it is very fulfilling when you see that your family is happy and contented.
And that's it! That's how my Sunday went. How about you guys? How's your day?

Random Questions from Tiktok Videos
*"Just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling."*
Sounds familiar? Yes, it's from the movie "Finding Nemo," but instead of the word "swimming," I used the word "scrolling" because that's what I have been doing for almost an hour. Scrolling through social media, noise, and read.cash, with the hope of finding an idea about what to write. When I was just a newbie to this platform, I made sure that before the clock struck noon, I had an article or at least an idea about what to write, and I never ran out of ideas. But now, after a year of publicizing articles almost every day, I guess it is normal to run out of topics, so most of the time, I relied on random questions and writing prompts. And it helps me big time to achieve my one article a day goal.
And today, another random question. I have saved Florie Mae's article about the random question she got from watching Tiktok videos. And so, without further ado, let's begin.
***What country would you like to visit?***
South Korea! After watching so many Korean dramas, I wanted to visit South Korea. Not only to see the beautiful historical sites but also to have a taste of their cuisine. I know, I can have a taste of that even if I am just here in the Philippines, but having the opportunity to experience that in South Korea is a bonus, right? And I am also dreaming of meeting or at least seeing Lee Minho, even from afar, hahaha! Sorna, he is the best Oppa for me, lol!
I also want to try wearing hanbok while visiting the popular filming sites that I only get to see in the Korean dramas/movies that I watched.

***What do you like the most about your city?***
What I like about my city are the amazing beaches. We are almost surrounded by beautiful beaches, not just in my city but the whole of Panay Island. It is nice to live near the beach because you can go there whenever you like without spending too much. And one more thing I like about my city is the fresh catch from the sea. I live in the "Seafood Capital of the Philippines," so we get to enjoy the different seafood fresh! We also have different festivals that showcase the different cultures that we have here. We even have an "Aswang Festival", but that was before.

***What was the last movie you saw?***
The last movie that I saw was "Black Crab" on Netflix. It was about a soldier who needed to deliver a secret cargo, but the only way is to cross a frozen sea. She didn't want to do the mission, but her superior convinced her that it was the only way to save her daughter. She later finds out that her daughter is already dead and the secret cargo that they were carrying is a biological weapon that will be used to not just end the war, but also to end everything.
I loved the movie, but if you were looking for an intense action movie, I would not recommend this to you.

***What's your favorite social network?***
Obviously, it is **noise.cash.** Just by posting a short post, my not-so-good photography, and even ranting, I could earn bitcoin cash. What I like most about it is that no one will judge you, belittle you, or look down on you. Furthermore, even if they are not famous, everyone has the opportunity to earn money. We just have to be diligent in creating posts and interacting with other users.

If you don't have noise.cash account yet, you can sign up under my link. See you there!
And it's a wrap. I only choose to answer 4 questions but there were actually 10 questions to answer from. If you run out of topic, you can try this one. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?extid=CL-UNK-UNK-UNK-AN_GK0T-GK1C&v=647990486346730

Lutang Praydey!
I feel lutang right now. Kulang na kulang kasi ako sa tulog dahil last night, my cat Nini gave birth. So as usual, midwife na naman ang ganap ko. I planned to sleep early last night, then bigla ako napaopen ng Netflix, kasalanan ng kamay ko to eh, kung ano-ano ang kinakalikot, charot!
At that time, antok antok na talaga ako as in. Kaya sinasabihan ko sya na ilabas na lahat yun anak nya ng makapagpahinga na kami, hahaha! Unfortunately, yun first born nya eh namatay.
So habang nakaupo ako eh may kumakaluskos sa may pintuan. Ang dingding kasi ng dirty kitchen namin eh yun pinagkrus krus na kawayan so open sya talaga. Kalahati semento, kalahati eh kawayan.
So ayun nga, after almost three hours eh nakapanganak ng maayos si Nini. Tatlong maliliit na kuting na naman. Another member of the pamilee, ibig sabihin another gastos, hehe.
`GIF from Giphy App`
I'm sure makakarelate kayo jan. Sinubukan ko na dugtungan yun gawa ko kahapon kaso ayaw alaga magfunction ng brain cells ko. Nagrarally sila ngayon dahil napuyat kagabi, hahaha!
Thanks for reading!

Once Upon A One Night Stand
***She had found something that would mean she'd never be poor again-but there was a catch.*** *She had to marry him, the father of her child. But what do I know about him, aside from the fact that he is fucking rich? What should I do now? My parents would surely despise me if they found out about everything. I am their only hope of escape from this place. Think, think, think, Laura!*
*Laura comes from a not-so-well-off family. Both her parents are working very hard just to send her to college, with the hope that she could make their lives easier in the future. That's why she was now in deep shit after that night that led to her pregnancy. But after he got that call from Derrick, the guy from that night, she was torn between accepting it or rejecting it. After that night, he had someone keep an eye on Laura. Kind of a stalker, right? That is how he found out that she was pregnant. And he wanted to take full responsibility and marry her.*
*I woke up with a heavy head the next morning. I barely had a decent sleep because of the many thoughts that were going through my mind. I have to meet him later, Derrick. I still don't know what to do. His offer is so tempting that I want to grab it, but damn, I know so little about him. The only thing I knew about him was that he was the CEO of a multimillion company. I had to prepare myself for what was coming. I took a bath, dressed in my best clothes, and applied red lipstick. I should at least look decent when I meet him. For my pride, at least.*
*When I arrived at our meeting place, I was greeted by a young lady. She guided me to where Derrick was waiting for me. Gosh, he looks so dashing in a white shirt and ripped jeans. I lose my composure for a while when he stares at me like I am some kind of food that he is about to devour.*
*"You're late, Laura."*
I thought that I would not be able to write another prompt for TMDWA. Most of my readers wanted a second part to my article yesterday, and so here it is. I looked for something that would perfectly suit the second part of what I had written yesterday and got lucky because I found one. I had fun and was not so much in a rush while writing this one because I already had an idea of how the story would be and I just needed something to start it with.
**Here's a tip for those who want to take the challenge but are hesitant because of the thought that they need to be quick at typing and thinking of what to write. If you run out of words, simply continue to tap any letters on your keyboard or phone screen. Then if you have something to write, just delete those letters and keep on writing. Just don't let the screen idle for the time being because your work would vanish.**

It was just for one night.....TMDWA
***It was just for one night.*** *Yes, one night. One night that could totally ruin my future. How could this happen? I should have beaten myself so hard that I realized it was all my fault. That's the word that came out of my mouth as I was staring at the tools that told me that I was pregnant. How could this be true? It was just for one night.*
*I went to a club months ago. Trying to unwind after the hectic schedules in school. Damn those professors, why are they giving me a hard time? I am in my last year in college, taking up tourism. My dream is to become a flight attendant for the main reason that I love to travel. I want to go to different places and wake up every morning in different places.*
*I was having my drinks when this young, gorgeous man approached me. Man, how could he be this handsome? He looks like a model that came out of a magazine. Oh, wait, a model from a magazine is an understatement. He looks like a goddess. He said hello, and I said hi. He offered me another drink, and I was too shy to refuse. Besides, it was just my second glass, so there was no need to worry. I also have a high tolerance for alcohol. I got so hooked on his handsomeness. Even his voice is so handsome. He told me that he was there to unwind also, and when he saw me alone and approached me. After a few more drinks, I felt lightheaded and told him that I should be heading home, and he offered to take me home. I refused at first, but then as I was walking towards the exit, I could not walk straight and I had to hold onto him to be able to walk up straight. We went to the parking lot, and he guided me to his car. Damn, even his car is so handsome.*
*I went in and I felt so sleepy that I fell asleep the moment my back touched the seat. The next thing I knew, I was in a big, cozy bedroom that I had only seen in movies. And to my surprise, I was naked under the sheet.*
*My head could not take the moment that I had at that time. I immediately looked for my clothes and was about to put them on when I heard a big, cold voice behind me.*
*"Hi sexy. What's the rush? " I could not move an inch. I don't know how to react or what to say. But I realized that I should compose myself and ask what happened. "What happened last night? I thought you were going to take me home."*
*You're in my house now, sexy. First things first, I don't know where your home is. That's why you're at my house.*
*And why am I naked? Did you do something to me? He just gave me a smirk and said, "You're the one who jumped into my bed." I did not force you to do it. But who am I to refuse such beauty? Don't worry, I will take responsibility for what happened between us.*
*That's the last word that I heard from him. And now this. What will I do? My parents would surely kill me if they found out about it. My mind was so occupied that I did not notice that my phone was ringing. It was from an unknown number.*
*"Hello, who's this?"*
*"Hello sexy, miss me?"*
Oh my goodness! I finally did it! lol! My original plan was to just try it for the last time since I have no topic for today. This is a good one to try. And so I open the site and look for the right prompt for me. I forgot to take a screenshot of the prompt, but my writing should begin with **"It was only for one night."** Then ideas began to flow like a river in my mind, charot! And so I decided to challenge myself by completing the five minutes of writing without lifting my fingers off the keyboard, or else my work would vanish.
Before I started, I took a deep breath and gave my fingers some stretching. So here I go.....
I typed like there was no tomorrow or someone was after me, hahaha! And to my surprise, I finished it and even exceeded the 5 minutes. Here's what I found out: **once you hit the 5-minute target, your work will no longer vanish even if you stop writing.**
After I finished, I went over the document and corrected any errors or typos. I guess it is to be expected to have typos if you write at that phase, like fast, unless you're really good at writing.
And that's it. You did a great job self, you made it! And for those who are up for the challenge and want to test their skills, all you have to do is visit the site, The Most Dangerous Writing App, a writing prompt initiated by @meitanteikudo and challenge yourself while having fun. And submit it to the **Prompt Factory****.** https://www.squibler.io/dangerous-writing-prompt-app https://read.cash/c/prompt-factory-1aa9
Calling out @Ruffa and @Lhes, hey girls, I know you can do this!

The Journey of Motherhood Begins...
Being a mother is very fulfilling. From the moment you feel a heartbeat in your womb until you finally give birth to another being. The other day, I was tagged by @Usagi in her article about her journey of being a mother. I have written an article about my journey, but hers is in the form of a question and answer. And so I will accept her challenge and will also share mine.
**Normal Delivery or CS?**
Normal delivery. I am afraid of needles. What's more, the hiwa pa, charot! When I reached my last trimester, I started to gain weight because I eat a lot. I also loved to drink soda and eat sweets. Then my Tita told me to refrain from eating those because I might end up giving birth through CS and it scared the shit out of me. And the fact that CS is very costly, so I stopped consuming those foods and started walking everyday.
**Was Father present?**
Unfortunately, my husband was not present when I gave birth to our daughter. My husband was urgently needed at his work, so my Tita, or stepmother, was with me but not inside the delivery room. I gave birth in a public hospital, and the experience was so bad that I despised it.
**Due Date**
I was supposed to give birth on January 28, but I gave birth earlier than that.
**Birth Date**
I gave birth on January 6, 2003 at 12:48 pm.
**Morning Sickness**
I had terrible morning sickness. In my first and second trimesters, I experienced puking on everything. I hate the smell of garlic. I don't like the smell of frying pans when heated. I don't like meat, and all I wanted to eat was fried fish and dried fish (tuyo). I always felt weak, especially if maaraw, so I stayed in my room and closed every window.
**Cravings**
I didn't have any particular cravings at that time, but what I always wanted to eat was bananas. Any kind of banana, be it ripe, cooked or not. And the one craving that I had that I did not get the chance to eat was for ube halaya, or purple jam.
**The baby's gender**
It's a girl! I did not have an ultrasound back then because I wanted the gender of the baby to be a surprise. I wanted a boy, and my husband wanted a girl. And so he was really happy when he found out that I had given birth to a beautiful baby girl.
**Location of birth:**
I gave birth to Angono Rizal just like Usagi. I was actually surprised when I found out that she gave birth at the same hospital. We both gave birth at Angono General Hospital, and as expected, I had a terrible experience giving birth there.
**Hours of labor**
I started feeling pain in my belly on January 4. And then I gave birth on January 6. Three days of unbearable pain and sleepless nights. So just imagine what I looked like after giving birth. But those aches and sleepless nights were all worth it when I saw my daughter for the first time.
**Weight**
She weighed only 6 pounds, and she was so tiny. My husband was scared to carry her because he might have crushed her tiny body. And my poor baby had to wait for a couple of days before I could nurse her because I had no milk yet after giving birth. I tried bottle feeding her but she refused. So the doctor told me to nurse her even though there was no milk yet. In that way, it would help stimulate the milk.
**Baby's name**
There were actually four names before we came up with her name. My husband wanted his name to be in her daughter's name. So there is always a Cris on her name. Criselle Ann, Cristy Anne, and Chrystalyn. And my mother also suggested Criselle Varyck. We decided to go with Criselle Varyck because there was a touch of both femininity and masculinity to it. It sounded like the name of a strong person. But here's the thing: I decided to change it right before the day of her Christening. I had her birth certificate processed and instead of writing down Criselle Varyck, I wrote down Crizha Keith. And it suited my daughter well.
Needless to say, I am so happy to be able to give life to a beautiful being. Now that she is already nineteen, seeing her grow into a beautiful, kindhearted, sometimes supladita woman, I can say that I did a good job being her mother.

Like A Vir... Oooopsies!
Another day of staring games with my laptop's monitor. I started by reading articles, hoping to come up with something to write about. but got nothing. Okay, not nothing really. I picked up a few ideas, but I don't know how to put them together to justify the idea that I have.
Since yesterday, I have been reading articles about people's first experiences with things in life. From their first love, first kiss, first heartbreak, and so on and so forth, it was a good topic, and I wanted to share mine. I've even come up with a title already. Want to know what it is? **~~"Like a virgin, touched for the very first time."~~**
**Gif from Giphy App**
I knew from the title that you already had an idea of what it would be about, which is why I'm having trouble writing a paragraph that won't put me in a position where I have to be defensive. If you know what I mean, however, I would still be writing it because the naughtiness in me wanted to share everything with my readers (medyo slight lang, char!) , lol! But not today.
Then, after reading Kudo's article about the dangerous writing app, I got curious and tried it for myself. The app will work as simply as this. It will provide you with a text area wherein you can type your work. But the catch is, you should not stop writing. If you lift your fingers for 3 seconds, your work will be gone and you will have to start from the beginning. https://www.squibler.io/random-prompt-generator
I started working with the prompt that the app provided, but after composing a few sentences, I ran out of words, and the sentences that I typed went from black to purple to slowly fading until they were all gone. It looks simple, but when you are being timed, it is nerve wrecking. You'll feel nervous as if your life is on the line. But it was actually fun and I am planning to try it again until I will successfully finish a five minute read article.
And then I started staring at my laptop monitor again, and then went to our guilds' discord channel, and someone said that you can now play joystick.club even if you do not own or mint a joybot. I got so excited and tried it right away. I have been meaning to play this since it has become a trending topic in our DC, but as before, you cannot play it if you do not own a joybot. And minting a joybot costs $20. So, knowing that I could now play, I got so excited and opened it right away. But to my surprise, I still did not add the smartbch in metamask after I uninstalled it last month due to some issues that I encountered. So I asked YourHighness again about the list of ca's of sbch tokens after I successfully added the smartbch network.
And to make the story short, I played one of the games, which is puffer fish, and earned 2 joys as a reward. Not that much. And then someone DMed me to play Honeycomb instead, because it is easier to play and get high rewards than the first game that I played. So I played it and earned 4 joys.
In total, I earned 6 joys, and the value of each joy as of this moment is 3.21 pesos. But I forgot to tell you that you need to pay to be able to play, and it will cost you $0.25 for each game that you play. Needless to say, I am dissatisfied with the rewards I obtained from playing games and paying 0.50 for them. But with more practice, I know that I could earn more than that, so I am planning to play it again.

I should end this here because I am going to be a comadrona again for Nini this time. Hahaha! As of this moment of writing, she's already in pain, so I put her here in the basin just like what I did to her mother and sister.
Medye mesheket ne she ele, pramis😂

Never Have I Ever: My Highschool Edition
Good day lovelies! Today was a busy day for me. Doing some random stuffs at home that I have no time to think about a topic to write. And I told myself not to write anything today, still, here I am unstoppably tapping my fingers again, Lol! But thankfully, I have read kingofreview's article that led me to write.
--
It was probably the happiest time of our lives, ***high school***. Many people consider their college experiences to be the best, but I believe that high school is superior because it is more enjoyable and has less workload. It denotes the point at which we have just shed our baby skins and are settling into our bodies. We are now young adults. Our bodies are undergoing a series of transformations. Boys are maturing into young men, while girls are maturing into lovely young women. We are mature enough at this point to recognize our interests, passions, and everything else we need to know about ourselves.
It is also the time when our parents loosen their grips on the rules, and we, therefore, experiment a lot during this period. I would say that this is the best time to make mistakes because most of the time they would only tell us that we are just teenagers and everyone goes through this phase, so we are free from punishment, lol!
Why am I saying this? It is because, today, my article will be about my high school experience. I got this idea from a writing prompt initiated by @kingofreview , The Never Have I Ever: School Edition. https://read.cash/@kingofreview/never-have-i-ever-school-edition-2-182ad5cb
So without further ado, let's begin.
--
**Skipped a class**
I never thought that I would skip class, ever, because I am the type of student that abides by the law, char! I just don't want my Lola to be disappointed in me. And so I thought, because when I transferred to a public school in my third year of high school, that was when I got out of my cocoon and did things that I never thought I would do, and that was skipping classes. It was frightening at first but was fun. The excitement, the fear that you might get caught. But I did it thrice only because I got caught on my third time skipping class.
**Cheated on an exam**
I never cheated on an exam. I am confident in myself and my brain cells, lol!
**Forged my parent's signature**
I have never forged my parents' signature, but I have done something similar to it. I have already written an article about this, but for the sake of my new readers, I will write it again. This happened when I was in my second year of high school. I was studying in a private school back then, and there was a time when my Lola was short of money, and I had to pay my tuition fee because it was our departmental exam. So what I did was forge the receipt for my tuition so that I could get the final exam. I changed the date, the OR number, and everything on the receipt. Later on, they found out about what I did.
**Bullied anyone at school**
I have never done this, and I don't have the heart to do this to anyone. I know the feeling of being bullied because I am always the target of the bully.
**Been suspended from school**
No, not ever. As I said, I am a good student, charot!
**Been in the bottom three of my class**
It never happened that I was in the bottom three. I am proud to say that I always belong to the top students in our class. **not bragging**
**Had a crush on someone in my class**
Always, hahaha! I easily get attracted to someone. I don't know why Char! But I also easily get turned off and then find a new crush again, lol!
**Played in a sports team**
I have always been sporty when I was still studying. I ran in track and field and played volleyball for our school in elementary. I played volleyball again in high school but not in my fourth year because I was more focused on my studies and there was still a CAT at that time. I miss playing volleyball. So every time I saw someone playing on the street, if they let me play with them, I would just butt in, hehe. But they always had this look like, "You can play?" But after the game, they would tell me that I am good. Of course, I am not a varsity player for nothing, char!
--
I realized that I had a fun high school life after answering this. I chose not to answer everything but that doesn't mean that I did not do it nor do it. I just chose not to include them all here, char!

Sabado, Anong Ganap?
Anyway, more on chika ulit tayo today.
So habang kumakain kami eh nanonood kami ng tv, cooking show ang palabas with matching travel galore. So napag-usapan namin bigla yun outing.
Last na punta natin ng Boracay eh 3 years old ka pa.*
*Anak: Ilang araw tayo doon?
Speaking of that, this Monday na sya ooperahan.

What happened to Friday?
I woke up so early this morning because my cat, Eve, was so noisy and kept purring on my side. Since she was pregnant and was about to give birth at any moment, I let her sleep in our bedroom at night to monitor her condition. And this morning, she gave birth to three little kittens, two black and one mixed white and black. So, needless to say, I became the comadrona or midwife again, lol!
I prepared a basin with old clothes and put her inside. I guess she's really in pain because she kept on meowing and wanting me to put my hands on her belly. The first kitten is out after an hour. She didn't know how to cut the umbilical cord, so I cut it using a scissor. In normal cases, the mother cat eats the thing that comes out with the kitten. But with my cats, they do not eat it. So after cutting it with a pair of scissors I put it inside a plastic bag and threw it out.
It's a good thing that she gave birth to only three kittens. I have 17 cats in total, and it means that I would need to spend more on their food. I am spending one thousand pesos every week on their food. My husband told me that I spent more on their food than on ours. lol! But what can I do? I can't let them starve and I don't have the heart to throw them out. So, yeah, I guess this is my purpose in life, to tend cats. I hope it will add more points for me in heaven. hehe..

In other news, I swapped some of my Vis to MATIC this afternoon, yey! For those who don't know, a gas fee is needed to claim Vis, and that would be MATIC. So I swapped 100 Vis for $0.40 worth of MATIC. On my first claim of VIs in Pegaxy, I have no Matic in my Metamask wallet. I asked @Yen about it, and she told me that it would cost us 0.04 bch just to bridge Matic to Metamask wallet. (I hope I got that right.)
So Ems, or Emily, our guild coordinator, aided us by sending us Vis in our wallet in exchange for our upvoting one of her articles on read.cash. It was a good deal for us. She asked for a tip back because she did not want others to think that she was providing it for free. There are so many members in the guild, and being the guild coordinator, it is too much to handle. And I understood her.
So, going back to swapping Vis to MATIC, I watched tutorial videos on Youtube on how to do it and tried it this morning. I was so nervous at first that I had to check the video thrice just to make sure that I was doing it right. After 20 minutes of anxiety and nervous breakdown, lol, I finally did it, hahaha! Good job self! 🤣
This is my first time doing it, so forgive me if I may look like I'm overreacting. The next thing I'll be doing is converting my Vis into our Fiat, which makes me nervous just thinking about it. I will need a Binance account, and I am thankful that my friend Daphne allowed me to use her account. Mine is not yet upgraded because I did not pass the KYC. With regards to converting, I am thankful that there are articles that I can use as a guide in my first P2P transaction. Thanks to Mj, Eybyoung, and other users who shared their knowledge with us newbies.
We are already half way through the month of March and the market is still bearish. But as far as I could remember, last year, it was the month of April when the market became bullish and reached its ATH in the month of May. Let's hope that history really does repeat itself. If you get what I mean. **wink wink**

Halo-halo and Vote-buying
Summer is finally here!!!
Good day, lovelies! A very hot Thursday here in the Philippines. PAGASA officially declared summer. Gosh, no wonder this heat is already unbearable. Those who have air conditioning installed in their homes are extremely fortunate! And most people are already planning their summer outings. While here I am, stuck in our house, lol! We will probably have one too, the summer getaway, but we have to work on that first.
I was supposed to continue decluttering today, but because I slept late last night (blame it all on Korean drama), my body was worn out and was begging for sleep after doing my morning chores. That's why, after lunch, I went back to bed and slept for two hours. While I was writing this, I felt totally charged. It could have been better if I had halo-halo while hustling in the virtual world.
Source https://images.app.goo.gl/3X7XM3s7ucs65WNx5
Man, I have been craving it since I saw Ruffa's post about it in the noise.cash the other day. Just imagine the creaminess, sweetness, and crushed ice combined in every spoonful of it. Man, it makes my mouth water! I would say halo-halo is the official food for summer!
Okay, let's move on with the halo-halo and I have some chika for you. So this morning, while I was cleaning our front yard, one of the "leaders" in every election approached me. I know her by face but can't actually remember her name. So, she was like, *"Oy gah, pila kamo ka botante sa inyo balay?"* (How many people vote in your house?) I was surprised because out of nowhere, she asked me that, but I still politely answered her, *"3 kami Nang, ako, ang bata ko kag bana ko."* (three; me, my daughter, and my husband.)
Source https://images.app.goo.gl/6nFn2kYpMmCSbkfi6
To make the story short, she was basically asking which candidate we were going to vote for in the coming election, especially in the local election.
I told her that I was still undecided on who to vote for and then she said that I should vote for this and that and that she would include our entire family on the **"list"**.
Vote buying is so rampant here. You can have an envelope left and right, from both parties or from every candidate that is running. You can see people cramming into the "leaders" houses to get their "envelope", and sometimes it will be delivered into your homes. And no one is being reported or arrested for vote-buying. I guess not even our government can stop it from happening. We can't really blame the people if they accept the money. Honestly, I accept it too, but I still vote for whomever my heart desires. I remember the presidential election when FPJ ran for the presidency. I got 2 thousand pesos from both parties, 1 thousand pesos each. I wonder how much it will be this time, Charot!
Anyhow, I am not saying that vote-buying is good. But since not even the government can stop it from happening, why not accept it and vote from the heart? Vote for who you think is best for the position and least corrupt. Yes, less corrupt because, as we all know, they are all corrupt in one way or another.
**How about you, what are your thoughts in vote buying? Will you sell your vote?**

Wednesday and Decluttering
I did not have a good sleep last night. I don't know if it was because of the weather or because I just couldn't sleep. I kept on twisting and turning, hoping to get a good position that would take me to dreamland, but was not so successful. And when I finally did, I was suddenly gasping for breath. I woke up panting and running out of air. I panicked for a while and was about to wake up my husband, but opted to just calm myself. I went out for a glass of water and stayed in the kitchen for some time until I was okay. I went back to bed and woke up at 6 in the morning.
I think I only had a couple of hours of sleep, but that did not stop me from doing my laundry. I had it soaked yesterday for me to easily hand wash it. I did it easily peasy, like it did not take me an hour to finish all of the whites. I told my husband to send the colored ones to the laundry shop nearby.
I had a quick nap after lunch and quickly grabbed my phone to check my notifications and read accounts. After making a post and reading a couple of articles, I went on with what I really wanted to do today: **decluttering.**
**decluttering**
remove unnecessary items from (an untidy or overcrowded place).
Source https://languages.oup.com/google-dictionary-en/
I have been meaning to declutter everything in my cabinet as well as my daughter's. My last was before the pandemic struck, and that was 2 years ago. Deym! I have this habit of keeping things like worn-out clothes, especially if they have sentimental value to me. I just could not throw them out. So now, it is time for me to tidy things up before it looks like, "Ukay ukay," hahaha! especially my daughter's things. Gosh, she's one hell of a **~~burara~~**. She has so many clothes. She loves buying clothes. But she had no idea how to organize her belongings. Before, I kept her things organized in her cabinet but got so tired of doing it because once she got her things, it was total chaos again. And one more thing: she has plenty of clothes, but she wears the same clothes over and over again, even telling me that she has nothing to wear anymore. **facepalm**
After an hour of decluttering, I found my Samsung phone. My Tito gave this to me as a pasalubong when he was still working abroad. How did it end up like this?
Well, my husband went out with his friends and got into a fight. He brought my phone with him because his was broken. This was my first smartphone and I was so happy when my Tito gave it to me, so I just could not throw it out.
While these were given to me by my friend Daphne, phone cases. We had the same phone, which is the Oppo F5. We all bought it on the same day: me, Madel, and Daphne. But Daphne's was broken and she had no use for it, so she sent it to me through LBC together with other souvenir items that she got from her last Singapore tour.
--
I am not done with my decluttering. I had to suddenly stop because I was surprised when my daughter cried. She was in front of her laptop when I heard her crying, and I asked her why. Then she showed me her grades, and she got 2 in her major subject. She told me then that the professor on that subject was not lecturing them but just giving the activities without teaching them. I told her that it was okay, it was just a grade. She then told me that she was disappointed in herself, that she thought she had done her best but still got 2 for the grade. I hugged her and gave her a tap on her shoulder. I was out of words, kasi naiiyak na din ako.
I feel sad for my daughter. I can feel her disappointment. Ever since, kasi, she really wanted to have good grades, and that's what made her belong at the top of the class. And now, having a grade of 2 really saddened her. I told her, "Okay lang, yan, importante pasado. And di galit si Mama kaya don't worry."
She then stopped crying and went back to her activities. Last week, she told me that she wanterd to go back to her previous university in the next school year. She said that she hardly had enough learnings because most of her teachers now, is always absent and would just send them school activities to answer. I told her if our situation gets better, I would transfer her to her old school. It is a private university so the tuition fee is a bit pricey. Well, let's just cross the bridge when we get there.
*The decluttering will continue tomorrow....*

Odie, Our Boss Dog
Most of you probably know that I own 4 dogs and 14 cats, and I am a pet lover, animal lover, whatever you want to call me, feel free. In the past few days, I have read @Jeaneth and @Hanzell's articles flexing their furbabies, so I decided to flex mine as well. But I'll be focusing on Odie in this article because I remember that I have written an article about my pets before, so this time, the spotlight is on Odie, our maltese x minipinscher.
Before we had Odie, we had Princess. She's a dog given to us by my husband's friend. She's just a local dog but looks like a Japanese Spitz. She had been with us for 6 years. But when we went to Manila for a vacation, we left Princess at our friend's house, thinking that he would look after our princess. But we found out that the princess died because, according to him, she was poisoned. We were so heartbroken, especially my husband, because Princess is closer to him than anyone in the house.
After a few months, we decided to adopt a dog, but then we could not find someone who had a puppy to share. So I decided to look for a dog on Facebook, and I saw a post from someone who also resides in Capiz, saying that her puppies are up for sale. After seeing the photo of Odie, we instantly fell in love with him. He is so cute and tiny. So my daughter keeps on bugging me to buy Odie. The price started at 4,500 pesos, but after thorough negotiation, we got it for 3,500 pesos.
This is Odie on his first night in our house. He was only 1 and a half months old when we had him. Isn't he cute and tiny? We were so worried at first because he would just lie down and be quiet. I kept on messaging the seller that Odie might be sick, but she told me that it's namamahay lang. And she was right, because after a few more days, Odie became so playful and wanted to be cuddled constantly.
We made sure that he had his vaccine on time and was being dewormed to avoid him getting sick because, as far as I know, dogs that have "breed" easily get sicker than our local dogs. But no matter how careful we were, he still got sick.
It was our annual Brgy fiesta. I prepared a little because my daughter and husband invited their friends. And they were petting Odie and giving him something to eat. Later that night, he began to vomit and would not eat his food. His poop was watery. I brought him to the vet clinic the next morning, just a short walking distance away from our house. The vet told us that he got diarrhea and told him not to feed him anything except his dog food. After a few days of taking his meds, he was back to his old self again, playful as ever.
The second time that he got sick was when he got allergies due to constant eating of chicken meat, especially chicken head. It was his favorite. But after spending a few hundred pesos, he was back to his old self again.
Odie just turned 4 years old on January 4, and he was our oldest dog among the four. He was also our boss dog. He gets everything that he wants: a spot to sleep on, his favorite food, and even a spot on our bed.
Closing Thought
Owning a dog is like tending to your own child. You have to make sure that they are well-fed, always clean and showered with love. We have to be a responsible pet owner, always....

Monday and Freewriting
I received a message from my sister-in-law yesterday, saying that my brother-in-law was admitted to the Philippine Heart Center prior to his heart surgery. We were glad that he would have his surgery because he had been waiting for it for two years already. I don't know the whole process, but according to what they have told us, they have lined up for surgery and some donor or something like that. This morning, I asked my father-in-law about Noy's condition, but he said they had no update yet because Noy's phone was off. Noy, my brother-in-law, is alone in the hospital because not even one person is allowed to be with the patient. So I wonder how he feels right now. I mean, he has to go through some series of tests, and no one is beside him. We just hope that they allowed even his wife to be with him.
Noy has been battling his heart disease for a long time. Untreated heart disease that began as a simple tonsillitis. He was a crew member of a cruise ship before, and maybe his lifestyle led him to have that disease. According to him, nonstop drinking, sleepless nights, and all-night parties are the norm in his field of work. He now suffered from his unhealthy lifestyle. We pray that his operation will be successful.
That may be why my in-laws have no plans to come here yet. They arrived last January from Canada. They have already retired, and we don't know if they still plan on going back there, but most likely not. Noy is the youngest and the favorite, so I know my father-in-law is worried about his condition. That is also the reason why I don't want to ask for help from them, because we know that they have to prepare for Noy's operation and it will cost a lot of money. As far as we know, they needed a staggering 1 million pesos for the operation.
My husband has told me about asking for help from them for my CT scan and expenses for going to Iloilo, but I told him no, that we could get through it without their help. I am not just used to asking for money from my in-laws. Even before, when my mother-in-law was still alive, I kept on telling her to not give money to her son or to me, because I didn't want them to think that we were still dependent on them. And it somehow made my mother-in-law angry at some point, but later on, she understood, and instead of giving us money, she brought goodies for our daughter instead.
On the other hand, Vis is so low right now, like, what the F! I have been playing Pegaxy as a scholar in Chads P3 for a month now and have accumulated a good amount of vis, but damn, vis is dumping continuously. I was planning to sell my Vis this week for my blood chem, but I think I have to wait a little longer because of the current price of Vis right now, it would not be enough.
I guess that would be all for chitchat today. This humidity makes me so talkative that I did some free writing today. I was about to write a writing prompt but opted instead. Another random thing from yours truly.

A Tale of Drunken Pachuchay
Hey there, lovelies! It was a hot afternoon here on our end. To give you an idea of how humid it was, after a long hour of bathing, I was perspiring like a waterfall when I got out of the bathroom. lol! Just the other day, I was complaining about constant rain here in our place, and now here I am again, complaining about the opposite.
This kind of weather makes me want to grab an ice-cold beer and chug it all down in one go*. *bottoms up**
Those were the good old days, hehe.
Anyway, @meitanteikudo 's article take me down to memory lane when I was such a badass drunkard, lol! So this is going to be my entry on his writing prompt. If you wish to hop in, you just have to follow his simple mechanics and you're good to go.
And now. let's begin! Cheers!

**When and what was your first alcoholic drink?**
*I first tasted the bitterness of alcoholic drinks when I was 18 years old and it was San Miguel beer. I was living solo, with no restrictions so the new set of friends that I met introduced me to SanMig. I was feeling maarte pa that time, like "no, I don't drink" but later on, I became the tanggera na, hahaha! Then from SanMig to Gin Bilog or Ginebra San Miguel. And we drank it without chaser ha, like tubig lang sapat na, haha! Gumuguhit sa lalamunan ang init eh, as in! Then we tried mixing it with pineapple and pomelo juice, but mostly, water lang talaga. Then one time, one of their friends brought lambanog, I don't know what's its English term, so ayun nga, pinatikim nila sa akin and it felt like poison na gumuguhit sa lalamunan ko. They told me kasi na it's like tuba lang daw, and I know tuba kasi my Lola used to sell tuba when I was a kid. But after drinking lambanog, I swear that I would never drink again kasi feeling ko they all tasted like lambanog na eh. So I told myself na di na ako iinom, pero siempre, echos echos lang yun kasi after a week eh inom ulit, hahaha!*
**What's the most stupid or craziest thing you did under the influence?**
*This incident happened when I met my husband na pero we're not in relationship pa. Eto young mga panahon na hindi na sya sumipot or nagpakita after ko magconfess ng feeling ko sa kanya. So ako na feeling heartbroken, eh nakipag inuman doon sa isang friend nya. Dalawa lang kami and 2 gin bilog ang naubos namin. After the inuman, umakyat ako doon sa rooftop ng apartment na tinitirhan namin and cry cry while star gazing, hahaha! I was with my sister that time and kasama nya din noon ang boyfriend nya.*
*Ako naman eh tamag emote emote sa tabi then bigla ko na lang tinapon young tsinepen ko sa dumaang mama na nagmamaneho ng tribike. It was not intentional naman talaga, it just so happen na napadaan sya when I threw my tsinepen. So ako, I was under influence nga, I told the guy, "Psst, tsinepen ko yan ha, bakit nyo sinagasaan?"*
*Siempre si guy eh triggered na and I did not know na meron pala yun sya diprensya sa utak, like di naman totally kasi mukha syang normal. So ayun nga, nagkapatulan na.
So akala namin talaga eh tapos na, pero ilang minute lang eh nagtawag pala ng resbak yung boyfriend ng sister ko at ayun, jusko, riot talaga kasi andaming dalang resbak then yung guy eh may mga barkada din. Ako eh nakatulala na lang habang nanonood sa rambulan nila, hahaha!*
*At dahil dyan, sinumpa ko ulit na di na ako iinom! Pero siempre, echos lang ulit yun kasi after ng ilang araw, tagay ulit!*
**Have you ever cried drunk?**
*Yessss! Especially when I am heartbroken kahit di naman broken, hahaha!*
**If there's someone here on the platform you would like to get drunk with, who is it? Why? Tag them!**
*I chose madam Rufingfing* @Ruffa , hahaha! She's the first person that crosses my mind talaga. Lalasingin ko sya and manghunting kami ng boyssssssssssss! So ano madam, payag ka ba? hahahaha!

I Forced my Daughter to Pursue my Dream
As a mother, what matters most to me is the happiness of my child. It is important to me that she enjoys what she is doing and loves it. But there was a time that I made her do something that she did not want to, but I insisted on it because I thought she would like it in the long run. And I have been dreaming of being one of them when I was young. lol! So I made her do it to fulfill that dream for me. I am guilty. Yeah, I know. But at some point, I know that it helped her build confidence and believe in herself.
--
When I was young, I wanted to be a majorette. I fancy wearing the costume, the short skirt, and the fancy make-up. How they doll up themselves before performing in front of the crowd. But because I am not qualified to be one, it remains just a dream.
So when my daughter was in fourth grade, the school had this drum and lyre corp that needed majorettes and needed to perform for the competition every year in the Sinadya sa Halaran festival here in our city, so I told my daughter to give it a try. She did not like it. She told me that she had no guts to perform in front of the crowd. But I kept on convincing her, telling her that she would not perform alone because there would be other majorettes that would perform together with her. After weeks of persuading her, she finally auditioned for it and passed. I was the happiest, lol! For me, it's like a dream come true, and, of course, an achievement for her.
`They were invited to perform in other school in this photo. My daughter is second to the right`
She had a hard time in training at first. She is not used to dancing in public, so every time they practice, she is always being mentioned because she lacks grace and is mostly left behind. And it frustrates me, lol! So I was like, "What are you doing?" I'll deal with you later when we get home! LOL! Yeah, I know, I am being harsh because I forced her to do it because it was my dream, and I admit it.
`This was taken when they won 2nd place in Bombo Radyo and Star FM's Handog sa Capizenos in Halaran festival`
But in the long run, she enjoyed it. She gets excited when there's a practice. She can now follow every dance step and direction their teacher taught them. She loves dancing even more. Even in our house, she kept on practicing, especially the baton twirling. She was good at it. She even told me that she never thought that she was good at dancing. That she has a talent for dancing.
`Taken when she's in seventh grade.`
She was a majorette at their school from fourth to seventh grade. Every parade, every competition, I was there, supporting her all the way. I feel so proud to see her perform confidently and see how she gets to enjoy every moment of it. I know that I forced her to do it at first, but I am happy that she embraced it because it helped her build her confidence. Helped her to know her true self and believe that she can do anything if she sets her mind to it.
She stopped performing when she reached 8th grade because, according to her, they only perform when there's an event in their school. They do not compete, unlike other schools. And I let her be, and besides, it's magastos din, hahaha! But that did not stop her from dancing and performing in front of the crowd.
`This was taken at their school's acquaintance party, grabbed it from the school's gallery.`
--
Forcing your dream to your child is a big NO, I know that. But I am glad that my daughter somehow embraced it and loves it in the long run. I even asked her before if she regretted her decision in giving in to what I want. She said no, and that she was happy that I made her do it. So I just got lucky with my daughter.

Happiness is a Day, it's called Friday.
Good day, read-tizens! This article is not about a particular topic. I just want to share some random stuff that happened to me today. As I was tapping my fingers on my keyboard, I noticed that the temperature in our place was 26% Celsius. It's despicably hot, isn't it? I thought that we would have nonstop rain again today because heavy rain poured down this morning.
I woke up early this morning because I had to prepare my husband's things before going to work. He will have to visit the site in Jamindan, the hospital project that I have been telling you guys about for weeks already. Finally, they are about to start the project.**fingers crossed*. I wish it is continuous work na for me to save money for the things needed to do in Iloilo.*
`Update: Husband arrived and told me that it will take two weeks for them to start to work because there were so many things to be done first, the permits, etc. and some doctors were asking ambulance na daw sa employer ni husband. Gosh, why so kaka..`
--
After doing my morning chores, I went to the supermarket to buy our necessities like soaps, shampoos, etc. Then we went to the wet market for our food and headed straight home because I could no longer stand the heat of the sun. I am not used to bringing an umbrella every time I go out. So my husband told ma me display lang daw ang payong sa bahay, hahaha!
My daughter asked chicken afritada for lunch, and I made it for her. We were watching the afternoon news while having lunch. So many things going on in the world nowadays, gosh, it stresses me out! Charot, di naman talaga, slight lang! This is why my husband doesn't want us to watch television, especially the news every time we eat because he loses his appetite with everything. But because he was not with us, we get the chance to watch the news today. What caught my attention was the segment in the said news where they featured a certain jeepney driver.
The driver works from morning till night and still, his hard-earned money was not enough because his son was sick and 400 pesos a day is simply not enough. And now that the price of gasoline and diesel is rising, I'm wondering how he'll support his family. Four hundred pesos in a family man is so not enough today. Not even for a single person. With everything that is happening right now, the prices of everything are nagmamahal. Sana all mahal, char! They even included in the video when the driver is calling his wife, telling her that he would send the 400 pesos to her so that she can buy milk and medicines for their son. Then he went back to his jeepney para doon matulog. The jeepney serves as his home here in Manila. It made me so hard to swallow my food. Parang may kumurot sa puso ko. I feel pity for them.
Then a thought crossed my mind. Hey, I am still lucky despite having an illness. Before kasi, I was like, bakit ako? Meron naman masasamang tao na deserve ng sakit na to, pero bakit ako pa? But of course, that was before, and having to watch that on television that there are people who are fighting many worst battles than me made me realize na I am still lucky kasi I have my family with me. My husband doesn't need to work far from us and despite na minsan eh we lack of money, we still get to eat 3x a day.
That's why I am always grateful....

The Haunting
I've been procrastinating lately, in terms of reading articles on read.cash. That is why, for me to keep up, I see to it that I get to read at least 3 to 4 articles every time I wake up so early in the morning, before I start my day. And then read again all through out the day when I have time. It not only helps me clean up my notifications, but it also gives me ideas for what to write. And so this afternoon, I stumbled upon @meitanteikudo's article about a dream, a nightmare, and a horror story. It is a writing prompt that he initiated. While reading his article, I was then brought back to the time when my imagination was so wild and nightmares haunted me even when I was awake. https://read.cash/@meitanteikudo/a-dream-a-nightmare-and-a-horror-story-455c6aa6
The Haunting
*I was 5 or 6 years old when I got to experience something out of this world. My father was working for a big company as a chief mechanic at that time. He was mostly sent to different places where his skills were needed, so most of the time, he went home monthly to save money for transportation. One time, the company sent him to Davao City for work, and he brought us along with him since the company would provide a house for us for free. That is one of the perks that my father had as a chief mechanic. The house was big and we weren't expecting it to be that big. It has two bedrooms on the second floor and two bedrooms on the first floor, with a huge bathroom on both floors. We were so happy when we arrived at that house because, compared to our house, which is made of bamboo, the house made us all feel rich, lol!*
This is somehow similar to the house I am talking about, without the car of course, hehe
*Our first month in the house went so smoothly. My mother enrolled me in a kindergarten nearby. It was 2 blocks away from the house, so most of the time, we just walked there. I don't know how and when eerie things started, but one night, I was in the living area, patiently waiting for my father because of the pasalubong he promised me. I saw a woman walking past in the living area, going to the kitchen. I was a bit sleepy at that time, so I did not mind it at all, thinking it was my mother, but moments later, I saw my mother walking down the stairs, telling me to go to sleep because it was already late. So I told her why she was upstairs when I saw her moments ago going into the kitchen. She said that I was talking nonsense because she never went to the kitchen, she just woke up from her sleep because she did not see me in my bed. I was so freaked out that I ran into her and went upstairs to sleep.*
*That is when things get creepier and creepier every day. At night, we can smell burning rice, or we can suddenly hear dripping faucets or sometimes falling objects when no one is around. My mother talked about it to my father, but he told us that it was just our imagination playing tricks on us. So to put us at ease, my grandmother, together with my aunts and uncles, stayed with us for a couple of weeks to see if it was true or not. My grandmother believes in ghosts or beings that cannot be seen by our naked eyes.*
*After staying with us for a week, they also experienced creepy things like someone walking upstairs when we were all eating downstairs, falling objects, and all the eerie things that you could imagine in a haunted house. But there are two things that happened that made us leave the house immediately. We were all in the garage area, just had our dinner at that time. My Tito was left inside because he was doing the dishes when we suddenly heard him scream. We hurriedly went inside to check what happened, and he said he saw a white lady staring at him.*
*We thought that he was just joking around because we knew that he never believed in those things, but after a while, he suddenly passed out, and when he regained consciousness, he was not his usual self anymore. He was talking nonsense, like we should leave the house or someone would die. That we should never have been there in the first place, that the house was haunted. I remember my lola was praying hard at that time while my other titos and titas were holding him. When my father arrived that night, they decided that we should go back to our old house before worst things could happen. We were so horrified at that time. I remember hugging my two sisters while we were calling our Papa.*
*But another horrifying thing happened that night. While we were all busy preparing to leave, my mother forgot her bag upstairs. She went up to get it, and then we suddenly heard her scream and fall down the stairs.* ***Oh, I forgot to tell you that she was pregnant with our brother back then.*** *She was then brought to the hospital by my father and my Tito, while my lola took us back to our old house. Later that night, we learned that our mother had had a miscarriage and we no longer had a baby brother. It all broke our hearts because we'd been waiting to have a baby brother.*
**We still could not believe what happened at that time. We thought these kinds of things happened only in movies. But, to see is to believe, and you have to experience it first-hand so that you can say, "Hey, ghosts do really exist!"**

This is my entry to kudo's writing prompt. I decided to answer one question only out of the three questions that he had on the writing prompt. If you wish to hop in and join the fun, just follow his simple mechanics.

A Humpty Hump Day
`Gif from Giphy App`
I am writing this while having my afternoon snack. Man, this cold weather makes me want to eat as much as I want. And the fact that I'm not gaining weight prompted me to seize the moment, lol!It has been raining on our end since last night. I thought that we would have favorable weather today because yesterday we had it. But, it is indeed very unpredictable, the weather.
Despite the bad weather, I still have laundry to do this morning. It has been soaked in detergent for days, and I am afraid mushrooms will soon sprout on it. I was told not to do it, but my hard-headedness prevailed, so my husband just scratched his head and let me be. It did not take a while for me to do it though, since I only washed the white ones, and with the help of my husband, the rest was delivered to the laundry shop nearby.
Then, after doing so, I gave my dogs a bath. It is not their "bath day" today, but I got so excited about trying on their shampoo, which I bought from Shoppee. It has a bubblegum scent, which, by the way, smells so good that I love to taste it! lol!
Then, at last, after I was done with my dog's bath, my daughter woke up from her long sleep. She actually awoke early today because I told her she had to clean the sala and two bedrooms while I did the rest, particularly in our dirty kitchen.(Just wondering, why is it called "dirty kitchen" when it is not dirty? Just like how the ice cream sold in the streets is called "dirty ice cream"?)
This is what our dirty kitchen looks like after I did the cleaning. I threw out everything that was not necessary. My husband has this habit of keeping things that "he said" would be useful in the future, but they would end up being stacked, rusted and useless. He was an electrician from the moment that I knew him until now. His father is also an electrical engineer. So I guess it runs in the blood. So every time my husband went home, he always brought with him things from his work, like screws, etc., and he would stack them up, but they would end up useless in the end because they were rusted. So, without him knowing it, I threw out those which I thought could no longer be used and kept the others.
While I was cleaning earlier, my sister called me and wanted to have a chat. I told her that I was still busy and would call back later. But she insisted that I put my phone on loud speaker so that I could still continue with what I was doing while we were talking. She was so happy to tell me that her business is doing well. She had been selling food for breakfast for two days now, and she said that it was always sold out. One of her customers even told her to cook for them. She keeps on talking while I am cleaning, and I was actually smiling the whole time she yaps and yaps. I am so happy for her. She can now earn extra while waiting for her work in Hong Kong. Her papers were all done. She has her visa released as well, but because of what is happening in Hong Kong with the sudden surge of COVID cases there, Filipino workers are not allowed to go there yet. We ended the call by our "asaran" names: Kalbo, that's what I call her, and "Tekla", that's what she calls me.
I will end my article with the photo of this cutie. This dog has been bugging me the whole time I am writing this because he wanted me to take him outside to do his thing, but it was raining, so I could not.

This is how my Wednesday went. I really thought that I could not write an article today, but I just let my fingers do the tapping and tapping again and my brain just followed.
And if you are reading this, thanks for tolerating my randomness. A big hug to all of you guys!

New Doctor, New Hope?
I was ecstatic when I wake up this morning. I have a second opinion appointment with another doctor today. I was hoping to receive some good news that would help me feel better about my current health condition. And since I know how tedious it is in the hospital, I prepared a heavy breakfast this morning to keep my stomach full before going there. My appointment was at 10 in the morning, but I was advised to be there at 9 because of the long process that I have to go through before the actual consultation.
There was already a long queue of patients when we arrived at the hospital. Most were elderly or senior citizens. I first went to the triage area where you have to fill in forms with your travel history, if you feel any symptoms of COVID, etc., blah blah blah. They also asked for my vaccination card, and after that, I was told to go to the OPD department inside the hospital. When my husband and I went in, there was another long queue of patients waiting.
I was number 38 already. A medical staff member took my blood pressure and weight. My blood pressure was okay, 110/80, and my weight was 66 kg. I was actually surprised by my weight. I was expecting that I would gain weight because I eat a lot, like 4 to 5 times a day. But to my surprise, I lost weight. My weight last week was 69 kg, and in just a short span of time, I have lost 3 kg already. I guess that is something to be alarmed about. My appointment was at 10 a.m., but the doctor arrived at almost 11 a.m., when she came from her daily rounds.
I was so nervous when my name was called. The good thing is that my husband was with me. The doctor was very accommodating and her voice was very pleasant to hear. She then asked me about everything, so I told her about how my first doctor diagnosed me with Myasthenia Gravis. She asked me about the symptoms or signs that I felt. I told her this and that. Then I showed her the prescription that was given to me by my previous doctor, and when she saw it, she told me that I only needed three of them actually. The Mestinon, Prednison, and the medicine for my blood pressure. So I was like, "Really?" It costs me almost four thousand pesos every week just to buy all those meds, and all I needed was three. She said that most of them were vitamins and could only be bought at my previous doctor's clinic. I felt like I was being robbed by that doctor, or pinerahan lang ako. Those synthetic vitamins can hurt my kidneys and liver, vitamins that I can get from eating healthy foods instead.
And then she told me the things that I should do. First is that I have to go through blood chem. She needed the result for her to determine if I have acquired another illness because I have taken so many meds for too long, especially the prednison, because she said prednison can develop diabetes in a person when taken too long. She explained everything to me in the simplest way possible so that I could easily understand it, unlike my previous doctor. She also told me about the CT scan to see if I have a Thymoma in my Thymus gland. But she said that not all Myasthenia Gravis patients have a thymoma, but if I ever have one on me, it needs to be removed as soon as possible. And she added that I have to take medicine for a lifetime. I knew that already, so that is not new to me.
Then another thing that she added was that I had to go to Iloilo City to undergo **Repetitive Nerve Simulation,** **or RNS.** It is the process needed to do to a Myasthenia gravis patient. She told me to book an appointment before going there and informed her about that so that she could coordinate with them prior to my appointment. She gave me the names and numbers to contact. I asked her about how much it would cost me and she said I should prepare 6 thousand to 7 thousand pesos for it. https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/repetitive-nerve-stimulation#:~:text=Repetitive%20nerve%20stimulation%20(RNS)%20involves,that%20nerve%20(Figure%202).
I was actually surprised because I thought it would cost me much more than that. My previous doctor told me about this, but by the way he told me about it back then, it sounded like it would cost me a fortune. So he was telling me, "mahal sya," so you better stick with me. I remember that he even told me not to consult with other doctors and to stay under his care. Now I know why.
After hearing all of that, my husband and I decided to change my doctor. We both agreed to choose Dra. Jordan from now on. Now I have to prepare the amount needed for RNS. I should at least have 10 thousand pesos. Iloilo City is far from our place, so I should be prepared. My husband was furious about the thought that na pinerahan lang kami ng first doctor ko. For sure, all those medicines that I have taken have caused damage to my internal organs, but much more importantly, they have caused damage to my wallet. But those are the things that can not be undone. I am just glad that we decided to seek or ask for a second opinion.

The Three Things that I Could NOT Live Without
A cold Monday to all of you lovelies! It has been raining for 3 consecutive days here at our place, and this constant rain has made me too lazy to think about what to write. The good thing was that I happened to read articles from different users about the articles that they had written on other platforms. I first read @Eylz2021article, and next was @TengoLoTodo 's. Sorry for the mention guys.
Their topic is about the three things that they have now but can't live without. And I thought I'd share my three things I couldn't live without as well.
--
**Medicines**
You all know that I am suffering from Myasthenia gravis and have to take medications for the rest of my life. Before I had this, I seldom took medication if I felt a slight headache, fever, or any pain in my body as long as I could take it. My Lola advised me not to become addicted to drugs because, according to her, our bodies have the ability to heal themselves, and I believe she is correct.
But now, in my condition, I am now drug dependent. How ironic is life, isn't it? My main medicines are Mestinon and Prednison. It helps me eat and speak, and the other meds are vitamins for my bones, muscles, and nerves. So basically, I could not live without it, lol!
--
**Cellphones**
As a blogger, writer, and someone that has to work or grind online, a cellphone is my source of income. I wouldn't be able to work without it. And as someone who lives far from their family, I need it to communicate and to still keep in touch with them.
I come from a big family. My Lola has nine children, and they live in one house even if they have a family already. We call that extended family, and I grew up in such surroundings. At first, it's loud and noisy, and you can hear an argument from time to time, but at the end of the day, we end up laughing from all those shinanigans that have happened. Because of that, I grew up close to my family.
And now that I live far away from them, it is important for me to at least have a chat or talk to them from time to time. Thanks to our technology nowadays, it helps us stay connected to our loved ones.
--
**Eyeglass**
I have been using my eyeglasses for 3 years. My first eyeglasses were from EO Optical, a well-known company for making or producing eyeglasses. I was 39 years old at the time, and it cost me 2,800 pesos. But unfortunately, my dog Maya munched it. It was like it was a total wreck. My initial reaction was, of course, I was mad, but then I realized that my dog must have ingested the broken glasses and was worried that she might die. So I observed her for days and was glad that she was fine. But my eyeglasses were not, hehe.
So I went to an optical clinic again and got a new pair of eyeglasses. Basically, I could no longer live without it because I could not see things clearly now. Before I wore them, my neighbors would often think that I was a snobbish person, but the truth is, I just could not see who was in front of me clearly.

And those are the three things that I could not live without. What are yours?
`A big shout out to` @Talecharm `for adding her name in my sponsors block. A big thank you!❤`

Another Randomness from Pachuchay
Good day, lovelies! Another cozy day here in Capiz. My brain cells seem to be in a cuddle state as well. They are not working on properly today, lol! I have been busy since this morning and my mind was preoccupied with things that I do not know if it is possible to happen. But despite all of that, I have to grind for the economy. Charoot! Hahaha, so no more lazy days for me. I am glad that I read Khing's article the other day and saved it. Now, it saved me from having zero articles.
This article will be about random questions, so let's begin...
--
**What is your favorite thing about your career?**
If I am to consider blogging as a career, well, my favorite thing about it is that I can do it in the comfort of my home. Unlike other people who have to travel or commute every day just to get to their specific jobs, mine can be done at my own pace of time. And the fact that I get to learn new things and make new friends on a regular basis, what could be a more relaxing job than this? But seriously, it is very convenient compared to other people's jobs.
**What motivates you to work hard?**
My family has no doubt about that. As much as possible, I would like to help my husband with household expenses. I experienced having no food on the table when I was a kid, and I don't want my daughter to go through what I did, so I am doing my best to provide her with the things that she needs.
**What does your child want to be when she grows up?**
She wanted to be a teacher, a boss in a big company, and then, when she reached senior high school, she wanted to be a soldier. But of course, I am so against it. That is why she chose the BSCS in college. As much as possible, I want her to pursue what she really loves, but not be a soldier. I'm totally against it.
**What would you sing at karaoke night?**
Songs of the Carpenters, Abba, Air Supply, Maroon 5, I can sing anything as long as it does not require biritan, hahaha! I am more comfortable singing low-pitched songs.
**Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?**
I have so many nicknames given to me by my friends and family. One of the famous nicknames that my friends called me was "kabog." I was in my third year of high school at that time, and one of my annoying classmates called me "kabog" from the famous Tagalog cartoon "Snow White." To those who do not know the character of kabog, it is a bat servant of the evil Queen. Since then, I became famous because of that name until I graduated high school.
The other one is Tekla. My tito named me that. It was from the movie "Goryo and Tekla", and the character of Tekla, played by Maricel Soriano, was very loud and talkative, and he said that I was like that, so he named me after her. Until now, they have referred to me as such whenever I have visited their home. And even my sisters call me that.
**How often do you buy clothes?**
Once I had a blue moon, lol! I seldom buy clothes, but to give you an idea, I can say once a year. And I don't buy brand clothes; ukay-ukay is enough for me, hehe.
**Who was your first crush?**
I can't remember because there are too many to mention, hahaha!
**In the evening, would you rather play a game, visit a relative, watch a movie, or read?**
I believe that visiting them at night would be inconvenient for both me and my relative, so I'd rather watch a movie or read.
**What did you want to be when you were small?**
I want to be in the corporate world. To be the CEO of a big company, lol! I even practice talking to higher-ups in front of the mirror.I borrowed my tita's high-heeled shoes and her lipstick and used a T-shirt as my wig to look like a dignified woman, hehe.
**If money was no object, what would you do all day?**
Travel! I really want to travel. Wake up every day in different places. I want to experience life as if it were my last day on earth every day!

Sorry guys, I'll make it up tomorrow. Thank you for reading!

Saturn's Day
Greetings to everyone! This is going to be sort of a diary entry. I am just going to share with all of you how my Saturday went and some thoughts that have been going on in my mind for the past few days.
I woke up again this morning at 4 a.m. I don't know why, but I guess my body clock changed as I aged. I tried to get more sleep, but I ended up tossing and turning in bed. I got out of bed at 5, and then my husband followed me. He asked if something was wrong or if I was hurting. I told him that I was fine. I just couldn't sleep anymore. Then he said that he would take me to Baybay, so I should prepare while he took our dogs out for a walk.
We left at quarter to six and arrived there 10 minutes later. I was pinching my husband while we were traveling because he drove so fast that it felt like my soul was left behind. There were already people enjoying the beach when we arrived there. Even the kids were already swimming, yet there I was, covering myself with the clothes that I brought because it was so cold. I took my slippers off and walked barefooted. I just love the sand under my feet. We walked and talked until my feet get tired, and then we saw an old man, plowing the sand, hoping to find a clamshell beneath it.
My husband went directly to where the old man was while I stayed in my spot, taking a few shots for today. After a few minutes, I saw they were both talking, so I approached them. We've learned that Manong was doing it because they had no food for today, but unfortunately, he has only a few clamshells in his small bucket. My husband gave him 100 pesos and told him to add it for their food. He was reluctant to accept it, but my husband insisted on it and told him it was okay and that he should accept it. We could see the happiness in Manong's eyes. He thanked us and gave us the clamshells that he had gotten, but we refused them and told him to take them to his family instead.
We then headed home after waiting for the sunrise for almost an hour. I was expecting it, but there were dark clouds covering it.
The other day, I received a call from my younger sister. She told me about my mother's situation on the farm, where she has been working as a caretaker for more than 12 years. My mother's original boss died 2 years ago because of a stomach infection, and now the wife and son plan to sell the farm because they have no interest in it. They told my mom that they would compensate her according to what their original boss had promised. I hope that they really do because it will be my mother's retirement money. She was planning to go to Davao afterward and check on her property there. My grandmother left some property to them before she passed away.
I told my mom not to sell the property and to stay there with her husband and start a new life, because she was planning to sell it and return to Manila. I told her that it was not a wise decision, but let's see what happens next. My sister's concern was that once my mother goes to Davao, she will be left behind in Bataan, and she doesn't like the idea. She was planning to come here to my place, start a new life with her family while waiting for her work in Hong Kong. I like the idea. But I told her to think it thoroughly.
I told my husband about it and he was okay with it, especially with my current health condition. It is nice to have her around. He even said that we could fix the back part of the house and build an extension room for them. I got so excited about the idea and was happy that my husband was not against it. Hopefully, things will turn out the way we planned.
`You might be wondering about the title. Well, Saturn's day is what the Romans named the "Saturday."`
