Happiness is a Day, it's called Friday. Good day, read-tizens! This article is not about a particular topic. I just want to share some random stuff that happened to me today. As I was tapping my fingers on my keyboard, I noticed that the temperature in our place was 26% Celsius. It's despicably hot, isn't it? I thought that we would have nonstop rain again today because heavy rain poured down this morning.
I woke up early this morning because I had to prepare my husband's things before going to work. He will have to visit the site in Jamindan, the hospital project that I have been telling you guys about for weeks already. Finally, they are about to start the project.**fingers crossed*. I wish it is continuous work na for me to save money for the things needed to do in Iloilo.* `Update: Husband arrived and told me that it will take two weeks for them to start to work because there were so many things to be done first, the permits, etc. and some doctors were asking ambulance na daw sa employer ni husband. Gosh, why so kaka..` -- After doing my morning chores, I went to the supermarket to buy our necessities like soaps, shampoos, etc. Then we went to the wet market for our food and headed straight home because I could no longer stand the heat of the sun. I am not used to bringing an umbrella every time I go out. So my husband told ma me display lang daw ang payong sa bahay, hahaha! My daughter asked chicken afritada for lunch, and I made it for her. We were watching the afternoon news while having lunch. So many things going on in the world nowadays, gosh, it stresses me out! Charot, di naman talaga, slight lang! This is why my husband doesn't want us to watch television, especially the news every time we eat because he loses his appetite with everything. But because he was not with us, we get the chance to watch the news today. What caught my attention was the segment in the said news where they featured a certain jeepney driver. The driver works from morning till night and still, his hard-earned money was not enough because his son was sick and 400 pesos a day is simply not enough. And now that the price of gasoline and diesel is rising, I'm wondering how he'll support his family. Four hundred pesos in a family man is so not enough today. Not even for a single person. With everything that is happening right now, the prices of everything are nagmamahal. Sana all mahal, char! They even included in the video when the driver is calling his wife, telling her that he would send the 400 pesos to her so that she can buy milk and medicines for their son. Then he went back to his jeepney para doon matulog. The jeepney serves as his home here in Manila. It made me so hard to swallow my food. Parang may kumurot sa puso ko. I feel pity for them. Then a thought crossed my mind. Hey, I am still lucky despite having an illness. Before kasi, I was like, bakit ako? Meron naman masasamang tao na deserve ng sakit na to, pero bakit ako pa? But of course, that was before, and having to watch that on television that there are people who are fighting many worst battles than me made me realize na I am still lucky kasi I have my family with me. My husband doesn't need to work far from us and despite na minsan eh we lack of money, we still get to eat 3x a day. That's why I am always grateful.... I hope the government can solve this kind of inflation. It is so alarming. Not only drivers were affected by the surging price of gasoline. All goods and services were climbing also. We are also affected by this crisis.
Exactly and now workers are asking for wage increase but looks like they can't have it the way they want.
Yes mommy. Yung kasama mo lang family mo at nakakain kayo ng 3 times a day is dapat ng ipagpasalamat
Korek Yen, ako kasi dati panay reklamo eh😂
Tama hehehe
Our conditions are not the worse, there are definitely people going through a lot out there and we must always appreciate God for providing for us regardless of how small it is. I hope the driver gets help so he can take care of his son, the almighty God won't forsake him.
Yeah, that's what I realize and made me appreciate everything that i have..
