My Phone Saved Me!

Time to hustle again! But with this so-called cuddle weather, I am forcing myself to stretch my bones because all I wanted to do right now was to lay down in bed while listening to my playlist. Ahh, these 80s love songs can easily put me to sleep. It is very soothing to the ears.

As I was listening to old music, I was also trying to clean up my phone gallery. But I ended up deleting none, hahaha! If only my phone can hold every photo that I take, that would be nice. Although I can back up my phone, I haven't tried it yet coz I am lazy to do it. I saw photos when we had our first trip together! With the word together, what I mean is me, my husband, and our daughter. Most of the time, it was only I and my daughter but last 2017, we had our first trip, together.

We had planned it. I saved money from my online hustle and also from my husband's salary every week. My father will be having his vacation too, that year, so I told my husband that we should be there.

We traveled by sea, it was called RORO(Roll-on, Roll-off). I paid 4,500 pesos for the ticket for 3 people. Then the day before our travel, we went to Banica, a place here in Capiz where different kinds of dried fish were being sold for a cheaper price. We bought 3,000 pesos worth of dried fish for pasalubong. I am so excited about that trip. We on boarded on December 27. We decided to spend Christmas in our house and went traveling the day after.

This was taken in the ship or barge. We were relaxing at the snack bar. Look at how busy my husband was. He was trying to contact our friends(his friends are mine as well) because that was his first travel going back to Manila after more than a decade.

Oooops, sorry sa face, masilaw kasi, hahaha!

I think there was a band playing random songs at that time if my memory serves me right. And we just stayed there until the sun sets and head back to our bunk beds after we had dinner. Sadly we had separate bunk beds at that time. I just asked the guy who's next to me if he can exchanged bed with my daughter and luckily, he said yes. So my daughter and I slept side by side while my husband slept 3 bunk beds away from us.

The first thing that we do when we arrived at Manila was went to my father's and then we traveled from Taytay to Cavite to spend the night in my brother in-laws house. Then, the next morning, we head back to Taytay Rizal again to fetch my 2 Titas who wanted to come with us in my mother's house in Bataan. We spend the night in my father's house then early in the morning, we traveled to Bataan. My husband borrowed his father's car that was in his brother's house at that time. We decided to travel early to avoid traffic congestion and also, my husband did not know the way and we solely relied on Waze app.

We arrived in Bataan still dark, I think it was 5:30 in the morning. The dog was Gringo, my mother's big dog.

Together with me in the photo were my 2 Titas(my father's sister), my nephew and my daughter. After we had picture taking, we ate our breakfast then went on around the farm looking for fruit bearing trees that can be harvested. That was the reason why my Tita tagged along to harvest fruits, hehe.

And yes, they got what they went for, lol! Look how happy my Titas were. In the middle is my mother. Despite the fact that my mother and father are separated, my mom still has a good relationship with my father's siblings.

They head back to Taytay the day after while we were left behind to spend New Year with mom.

I also found this one. This was when I got stranded for 3 days heading back here in Capiz. This happened second quarter of 2018,I think. I went back to Manila alone, to process my father's SSS lump sum claim. And when it was time for me to go home, a typhoon was heading in our country but still I decided to travel, silly me.

Look how haggard I looked, haha! It was my day 2 of being stranded. We were already in Mindoro in this photo and no ferries were allowed to travel so we had to spend the nigh in one of the stop over place.

I think I was the only one in our bus that was traveling alone. Most of them were with companions so I feel I was an outcast. But I am fine with it. As long as I have my cellphone and wallet in my hand, I feel safe, haha! To be honest, I wasn't afraid. It felt like I am in an adventure trips, hehe. The next morning, ferries were allowed to travel, and so we went on even though waves were still huge.

I arrived in Roxas City 12 midnight and my husband was already there waiting for me.

Actually, he was mad because he thought that I am just making an alibi and the truth was I had an affair with other guy. Jusko mga teh, stress na stress na ako sa byahe tapos stress pa ako sa kanya kakapaliwanag hahaha! Kaya sabi ko sa kanya na wag nya ako sunduin at madami naman tricycle sa terminal. Pero andun pa din sya para sunduin ako at may payakap yakap pa, charooooot, HAHAHA!

So that's it. I thought I cannot come up with a topic but thanks to my gallery, it saved me, hehe!
