Why do we love Rain so much? Do you feel happy when water drops start to fall from the sky? When you think of rainy days, do you dream of a blanket, a hot drink and a good book? If so, you are a member of the pluvophile tribe. pluvophile; In short, it means a person who enjoys the rain. While it's probably said that you get wet and cold when it rains, rain lovers will be surprised how you can't be grateful for such a unique celestial event on a misty day. If you're a pluvophile, you don't just enjoy the rain, you also prefer rainy times over all other times, and you're even happier in life than other people in general. Rain water softens the hair because it has more natural content than city mains water. Elements or compounds that can damage your hair or irritate your skin are less in rainwater than in tap water, and some are even absent in rainwater because they haven't been exposed to human intervention. This means that if a system that collects rain water and puts it into use is arranged by meeting all the requirements, we can have soft hair and silky skin. Rain gives people a mood of relief, relaxation, intimacy, warmth, contentment, and peace, of course, it darkens some of them, but if you pay attention, this dark mood is often experienced when the weather is forced and it can't rain. With these beautiful feelings of rain, you will spend a closer and more intimate time with your loved ones. Positive emotions draw people together, bring them closer and give intimacy with an indescribable warmth. The smell felt in the air after the rain is a chemistry story involving living things living in the soil. However, this smell of soil that surrounds the environment after the rain is so beautiful that there are even societies that call it the smell of heaven. **Pexels** https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-holding-an-umbrella-sitting-near-a-body-of-water-7913021/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels **Here are 7 reasons why rain lovers are happier in life.** **1. They become more sensitive about living life to the fullest** **Pexels** People who love the rain are people who enjoy their own experience. They can describe the rain in all its details, vividly and captivatingly depict the scene of the raindrop hitting the window. Pluvophiles love the smell of rain and the feeling when water hits their skin. These people, who even know the taste of rain water, are so happy to raise their hands in the air and thank the clouds when it rains. **2. They live in the moment** https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-enjoying-the-rain-outside-a-grass-field-8676395/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels **Pexels** https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-standing-in-the-rain-11022421/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels Happiness researcher Dr. Matt Killingsworth can measure people's happiness levels in specific activities in real time, thanks to the smartphone application called 'Track Your Happiness'. According to their findings, there is a direct link between happiness and living in the moment, being in the moment, no matter what you do. **3. They are self-confident** **:)** **Pexels** https://www.pexels.com/photo/a-woman-wearing-a-yellow-raining-coat-8499254/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels Now think about it like this; If an adult is rambling around like a 4-year-old when it rains, he probably doesn't care too much what other people think. In reality, rain lovers take pride in themselves and in this situation. They feel sorry for everyone who misses the rain and is in a closed area at that moment. Pluvophiles don't mind when it rains they get drenched, even if their make-up is gone, and they still look surprisingly beautiful. **4. They are good at overcoming difficult times** **Pexels** Pluvophiles know how to say 'this too shall pass' when difficult times in life come. In reality, they know that challenges pave the way for great opportunities. Also, don't forget: The rainbow always appears after the rain. https://www.pexels.com/photo/boy-holding-black-umbrella-1483142/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels **5. They know how to evaluate something for a totality** **Pexels** https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-in-black-bra-holding-big-leaf-1187316/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels A true rain lover will never fear the weather. They find the right way to look at the facts of life and evaluate them in a context. If you want to talk to someone, these people are both very good listeners and allow you to analyze things better with their different interpretations. **6. They see the beauty in sadness** **Pexels** Rain lovers know that crying is a symbol of renewal and they value it, just as rain brings fresh air and new life. One of their favorite activities to take advantage of when it rains is to hug a pillow and watch sad movies. https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-with-red-umbrella-standing-at-riverbank-2423959/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels **7. A stormy day is the perfect time for them to think about life. As the clouds move slowly and the raindrops filter down from the trees, they reflect and evaluate the past days. Benefits of Dark Chocolate that will surprise you. **Hello to everyone!** **Before reading the article, I didn't know that dark chocolate, which I like very much, is so beneficial and of course I started to eat more:)** **Let's start.** Dark chocolate basically contains a much higher percentage of cocoa, unlike other types. It provides many benefits for our body when consumed, provided that it does not exceed the recommended amount. As My Bitter Chocolate, we have compiled the benefits of dark chocolate for you, dear chocolate lovers.  **Pexels** The story of Dark Chocolate goes back to 1100 and 1400 BC. In the Aztec and Maya cultures, which ruled in today's Central America geography and made great discoveries in the field of architecture and astronomy, cocoa was used as a kind of medicine or in some rituals. https://www.pexels.com/photo/photo-of-person-pouring-chocolate-on-a-silver-mini-bowl-6036018/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels Although the existence of dark chocolate was known in the early days, after the industrial revolution, milk chocolates, which are cheaper and easier to produce, have become widespread in order to meet the demand in the world. However, towards the end of the 20th century, due to the increase in the level of prosperity in the world, chocolate lovers who pursued the real taste regained its popularity to dark chocolate. **14 Benefits of Dark Chocolate** 1-Known to have a preventive effect against Alzheimer's disease, which is frequently encountered today, dark chocolate also raises good cholesterol and has a blood pressure lowering effect. 2-Some data obtained as a result of the tests show us that dark chocolate creates a kind of antioxidant effect due to the substances such as polyphenols and flavanols it contains. After a certain amount of these substances are taken, they reduce the risk of many diseases, from cardiovascular diseases to asthma and diabetes. During a test, it was found that consuming dark chocolate more than five times a week permanently reduced the risk of cardiovascular disease by 57 percent. The observation that deaths from cardiovascular diseases decreased by 50 percent in another test conducted on 470 elderly men, especially over the course of fifteen years, proves to us that dark chocolate is a miraculous taste. 3-One of the observations of experts is that dark chocolate prevents blood clotting. 4-In another study, it is known that the subject group was given dark chocolate for 15 days as part of a healthy diet program, and at the end of 15 days, the subjects' blood pressure problems decreased. 5-It has been observed that dark chocolate, which is thought to have an effect on the protection of human skin against sun rays, provides a high level of immunity against the harmful rays of the sun on people who consume dark chocolate for twelve weeks. 6-Another finding is that the consumption of dark chocolate against obesity, which is becoming more and more widespread today, facilitates weight loss. In a study, one group of subjects consumed 100 grams of dark chocolate and another group consumed 100 grams of white chocolate. When the test was completed, it was observed that dark chocolate improves beta cells and increases insulin sensitivity due to the polyphenol substance it contains. Since the polyphenol substance is not found in white chocolate, the said curative effect was unfortunately not observed in the white chocolate consuming group. 7-As it is known, the most distinctive difference of dark chocolate from other types is the high amount of cocoa it contains. The anti-fatigue effect of cocoa is the most important factor that reduces the risk of dark chocolate lovers to be affected by fatty liver. 8-Business and urban life today is more stressful than at any other time in history. A substantial percentage of people in major metropolitan areas are dependent on antidepressants. Dark chocolate lovers, on the other hand, reach the feeling of happiness in the easiest, natural and delicious way, thanks to the ingredients such as phenylethylamine it contains. 9-It is possible to overcome situations such as pain and stress, which are among the most difficult emotions to cope with, thanks to the feature of dark chocolate that facilitates the secretion of endorphins. 10-Studies by the Institute of Health affiliated with Harvard University have also found that dark chocolate improves blood flow to the brain, making subjects 30 percent more successful in memory tests. In addition, high concentration and extra skill in solving problems are among the blessings of dark chocolate. 11-Thanks to the feeling of happiness it creates, it prevents our brain's tendency to pleasant, stimulating and addictive bad substances. 12-Thanks to the caffeine it contains, it provides the concentration and focus we need. 13-Thanks to the element magnesium, it helps us to cope with the stress in our daily life more easily. 14-Moreover, thanks to its intense taste and consistency, it has a satisfying effect, gives a feeling of satiety and helps us stay away from other snacks that can cause problems for our health. **Pexels** https://www.pexels.com/photo/red-pepper-with-chocolate-placed-on-table-with-spice-4198375/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels **CHOCOLATE MILK:** The ingredients of milk chocolate and dark chocolate are the same, what makes them different is that the proportions of cocoa and milk are different. While 25-45% cocoa is used in milk chocolate, this ratio varies between 45-90% in dark chocolate. The color difference in milk chocolate is due to the high amount of milk it contains. Although the cocoa in chocolate is beneficial for health, if it is milky, the benefit of cocoa turns into harm. Since the bitter taste in dark chocolate is not found in milk chocolate, it is more preferred by people and especially children. Because it is soft, it takes shape easily, thanks to this feature, it is used more in decorations and pastry. Take a look at the image below, how beautiful it is. As I said, excess of everything is harmful. But chocolate is one of the most beautiful foods in the world… Eat 50 grams of chocolate a day (not more than that) and be happy.  **Pexels** I love it too :) **White Chocolate** https://www.pexels.com/photo/chocolate-goodies-on-a-porcelain-plate-7645779/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels **Pexels** Is White Chocolate Harmful? White chocolate is known as a very popular type of chocolate with its attractive appearance and being lighter than other chocolates. However, it is still debated whether white chocolate made using cocoa butter, sugar and milk has any health benefits or harms. Because this chocolate is prepared using only cocoa butter, some experts suggest that it causes weight gain. On the other hand, it is argued that it is beneficial because it contains high milk content. https://www.pexels.com/photo/a-book-beside-a-cup-of-coffee-6560995/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels It does not contain cocoa in white chocolate, but is prepared with cocoa butter. Therefore, it gives a chocolate taste. Compared to chocolates prepared with cocoa powder, it contains less vitamins and minerals, while white chocolate contains much more fat and milk than other chocolates. It is recommended to consume dark chocolate under control. Because it has many benefits to health due to its antioxidant level. But unfortunately, this antioxidant rate in white chocolate is almost zero. Apart from a few known benefits, this chocolate, which is highly preferred for ornamental purposes, unfortunately has serious harms. Let's take a closer look at them. Since white chocolate is very high in fat, it is harmful to the body as a result of consuming more than a few pieces. Apart from causing an increase in the rate of bad cholesterol, it can cause serious problems such as atherosclerosis and heart diseases. At the same time, even if the fat in it is converted into energy, since it is not used for a long time, it can cause the formation of fat masses in some parts of the body. Consumption of more than one hundred white chocolate paves the way for sudden and rapid weight gain. Just 100 grams of white chocolate can cause almost 600 calorie intake. In addition, white chocolate, which also prepares the ground for fatty liver, can cause problems such as acne and pimples when consumed in excess. It is also a type of chocolate that is dangerous for diabetics. **Is White Chocolate Real Chocolate?** Although it is called chocolate, it is not considered chocolate because it is made only from cocoa butter and does not contain cocoa powder. To be real chocolate, it must contain cocoa powder. Can you Control your Anger ? **Helloo :)** First of all, if I speak for myself, I am a person who gets angry very quickly. I used to be unable to control it, but after the age of 20, I slowly started to control it. Now I can stay calm whenever I want :) I'll make a few suggestions that I have researched and found. Does your blood jump to your brain when your kids don't listen to you? Do you get angry easily in traffic and have outbursts of anger? Although anger is a very natural and healthy emotional state, it can be destructive if uncontrolled. When outbursts of anger become chronic, they negatively affect our body, psychology and our loved ones. But do not be hopeless! Anger control is quite easy with the right methods. If you want, let's take a look at 10 techniques you can use when you think you can't control your anger: 1. Give yourself time to breathe when you feel like you're starting to get angry **Pexels** https://www.pexels.com/photo/man-feeling-annoyed-with-the-woman-6715862/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels If you're having a sudden tantrum and the blood splashes into your brain, take some time for yourself and take a deep breath from your diaphragm. Give yourself comforting suggestions such as “relax”, “nothing to worry about”, “calm down”. Continue breathing exercises and self-suggestions until you feel your anger begin to subside. 2. Express your anger correctly **Pexels** https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-in-black-and-white-floral-sleeveless-shirt-sitting-on-brown-wooden-chair-5332417/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels While venting anger is healthier than letting it go inside, it's important to do it right. After the initial effects of the outburst of anger have passed and you have calmed down a bit, try to express yourself calmly and as clearly as possible to the person in front of you. Take care to express your concerns and needs that cause you anger in a cold-blooded way without hurting the other person. 3. Express your anger by doing sports! **Pexels** Physical activities such as sports and walking increase the secretion of the hormone serotonin, which makes us feel happier and more comfortable, and also helps reduce stress and tension that cause us to get angry. When you feel your anger start to escalate, a short walk outdoors or doing a different physical activity that you love will take all your tension away. https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-in-black-tank-top-and-black-leggings-doing-yoga-4300385/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels 4. Take short breaks when you feel your stress level rise **Pexels** If there are certain events during the day that cause you to increase your stress level and become angry, give yourself a short break at such moments. A few minutes of silence will help you understand your own thoughts better and get over the things that make you angry more easily. You can also review our 6 scientific suggestions that will help you get rid of stress for different techniques you can use in such moments. https://www.pexels.com/photo/confident-adult-businessman-in-formal-outfit-on-platform-of-railway-station-3888097/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels 5. Focus on the solutions, not the causes of your anger! **Pexels** Try to focus on how you can deal with this situation instead of focusing on the things that get on your nerves. Does it drive you crazy that your kids' rooms are always messy? Close the doors of their rooms. Does it get on your nerves that your spouse is constantly late for dinner? Take the meal time back a little bit or talk to your spouse and express that you can have a meal separately on certain evenings. Learning to look at your emotions from a different angle allows you to deal with situations that are out of your control much more easily. https://www.pexels.com/photo/man-in-black-dress-shirt-sitting-beside-man-in-black-dress-shirt-5922542/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels 6. Use “I” language instead of “You” in situations that cause you anger **Pexels** Criticizing and blaming the person in front of you in situations that increase your nervousness will only increase the tension. In such cases, try to construct sentences in the language of "I", which will allow you to express your feelings, instead of sentences that start with "you" accusing the other party. For example, if it bothers you that your spouse doesn't help with the dishes, you might feel like "You don't help at all with the housework!" Instead of saying, "It really upsets me that you didn't get up from the table as soon as you had dinner and didn't offer to help me." https://www.pexels.com/photo/man-in-black-t-shirt-kissing-woman-in-white-hair-8903670/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels 7. Don't let anger turn you into a spiteful person! **Pexels** Learning to forgive is one of the most powerful virtues we can have. If you allow anger to rule you, after a while you may find yourself a prisoner in a prison of negative emotions that you have created. Forgiving the other party in your moments of anger allows you to evaluate your situation calmly and strengthens your relationships. https://www.pexels.com/photo/angry-girl-with-ginger-hair-near-red-wall-8727396/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels 8. Take advantage of the power of humor in your tense moments! **Pexels** Laughing a little when you feel like you're starting to get angry will take all your tension away. Try to see the funny side of things that happen to you that make you angry. Learning to laugh at yourself reduces the impact of the events that made you angry in the first place, making it easier to realize your unrealistic expectations. **9. Instead of getting angry, try to improve your communication skills!** https://www.pexels.com/photo/a-tuxedo-cat-hugging-the-orange-tabby-cat-7725619/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels **Pexels** When we communicate correctly with the people in front of us, we are less likely to get angry and increase our chances of establishing trusting relationships. This sense of trust allows us to make a positive start for our subsequent communications. One of the best communication exercises that can be used in conversations is to repeat what the other person said aloud in your own words, as you understand, by saying "I want to make sure I understand you correctly...". In this way, you can end potential conflicts before they begin, and keep unnecessary tantrums away from you. https://www.pexels.com/photo/loving-black-father-resting-with-cute-daughter-in-bed-at-home-4544902/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels 10. Do not hesitate to seek professional support when you cannot cope with your anger! **Pexels** Learning anger management is a challenge in itself for anyone who has trouble with it. If, despite all your efforts, your anger causes behaviors that you will regret later or that cause offense to the people around you, it is time to talk to a psychologist who is an expert on this subject. The Mysterious Power of Fragrance Hello everyone! Firstly If you haven't seen it, I definitely recommend you to watch this movie. - Perfume-The Story Of a Murderer.I was very impressed when I watched it. **Let's get back to our topic.** Have you ever recalled a memory from your childhood with the smell you heard while walking in front of a bakery? Or has it happened that just the scent of sunscreen takes you back to those blissful beach vacations? Your answer is probably yes, right? This is based on scientific grounds. Because of its unique relationship with the brain, scent has a powerful effect on your memories, emotions and even thoughts. The sense of smell, which can affect our daily life positively and negatively, works for 24 hours and never turns off. This sense, which is the body's first and most descriptive testing mechanism, instantly evaluates whether an environment is good or bad.  **Pexels** **How does smell affect your brain?** https://www.pexels.com/tr-tr/fotograf/beyaz-cicek-tutan-kadin-3579460/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels Smell, unlike other senses, bypasses the thalamus, which is one of the biggest intermediate stops of the communication system between the body and the brain, and reaches the olfactory bulb, the region that processes odors. This region is directly connected to the amygdala and hippocampus regions responsible for memory and emotions. The ability of odor to trigger emotions and memories is due to its entry into the brain via the frontal cortex, in other words, a characteristic unique to odor. This feature of the fragrance is so strong that a unique vanilla scent can take you to a memory you love or make your loved one's face come to mind. **How does smell affect your memories and emotions?** **Pexels** https://www.pexels.com/tr-tr/fotograf/kadin-beyaz-cicek-siyah-10182664/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels The amygdala, the part of the brain where emotions respond to certain stimuli, just like smell; The hippocampus is known as the place where short-term memories turn into long-term memories. The storage of shared odors and memories in the hippocampus region actually explains why odors are associated with certain memories and are only recalled when we hear that odor again. Because the relationship between smell and memory is so tight, you can use your sense of smell to recall good memories or develop a positive emotional state. For example, burning incense at home in the evening is a great way to unwind and feel good at the end of the day. You can use fragrances in almost every aspect of your daily routine, from essential oil-based perfumes to incense. With the right scent choices, even any of your actions can turn into an enjoyable ritual. All that aside, the fragrance has such a feature that it deserves to be the bonus of this article. **"Scent in history is so important in influencing people that although she was not a beautiful woman, Cleopatra, who was the Queen of Egypt in the 12th century, became famous in her time with the scents she had prepared by the Egyptian priests, and created a great impact with the essences including the rose.** Smell affects mood, memory, emotions, mate selection, immune system and hormones. The human nose can distinguish approximately 13 thousand odor molecules from each other, and it is thought that between 3 and 8 thousand molecules can be felt with full acuity and effectiveness. There are about a thousand different olfactory receptors in the nose. In addition, it is thought that about five million neurons are responsible for perceiving the sense of smell and transmitting it to the relevant centers. The nerves transmitting the smell are the slowest and thinnest nerves in the organism. **Rosemary STRENGTHENS MEMORY** 'Rosemary plant' significantly increases the learning and perception capacity and memory ability. Rosemary essential oil strengthens both short-term and long-term memory. In the study, conducted at Northumbria University in Newcastle, people whose memory traits were tested were placed in two separate rooms. Rosemary essential oil was sprayed in one room and normal perfumes in the other. As a result of the evaluation, it was determined that rosemary essential oil increased learning capacity and increased memory by 60-70%. Therefore, both rose scent and rosemary essential oil have very positive effects on learning and memory faculties. **SMELL IS SIMPLE, THE BRAIN SHOWS ACTIVATION** **Pexels** The middle part of the thalamus on the right side of the brain and the lower part of the frontal lobe on the right side of the brain are activated more like perfume in more intense odors. The left cerebral hemisphere is activated in simpler odors. However, this does not mean that some part of the brain is working more. Studies have shown that the middle part of the thalamus in the right brain hemisphere and the lower part of the frontal lobe are more activated when we smell the smell with a high density. However, whether the smell is intense or simple, the same areas of the brain show more or less activation. **THE WORD IS GOING, THE SMELL REMAINS :)** https://www.pexels.com/tr-tr/fotograf/doga-kadin-romantik-alan-8734652/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels **Pexels** When it comes to memory, the sense of smell, which is always focused on visual and auditory stimuli, is neglected. However, the sense of smell is a very important factor in terms of storing information in memory. While all other senses first reach the limbic system after passing through the thalamus filter, the sense of smell reaches the limbic system directly without passing through the thalamus and instantly affects our behavior. **IT AFFECTS OUR DAILY LIVES** https://www.pexels.com/tr-tr/fotograf/kafein-kahve-yaratici-fincan-4376212/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels  **Pexels** They are transferred to the brain later than the other senses, but memory also takes up much more. When the odor perception reaches the olfactory center in the brain, the brain decodes the codes determined by previous experiences and enables the odor to be recognized. The effects of odor on behavior and emotions can be explained by these connections. Smells also bring to mind some events in the past in connection with them. A familiar perfume smell that we come across while walking on the road reminds us of our friend who used that perfume. In addition, each person has a unique skin odor, just like fingerprints. We can perfectly remember things we learned in the same physical conditions such as temperature and smell, together with the presence of certain stimuli, when the same conditions are recreated and the same stimuli are given to us again. If a group of words in a foreign language is memorized in an environment that smells of jasmine, for example, these words can be remembered much better in an environment that smells of jasmine. Because smell helps activate your semantic memory of these words. https://www.pexels.com/tr-tr/fotograf/isik-kadin-el-su-6621173/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels **PLEASANT SCENTS INCREASES PRODUCTIVITY** Scientific studies show that perceptible fragrances validate consumer desires, increase workplace productivity, and aid health and medical conditions. A trial at a casino in the USA showed a 48% increase in gambling revenues after a fragrance was given to the test area. As a result of the trial, it is understood that the noticeable odor in the air makes the customer feel better and increases the desire to gamble. **LOSSING THE SENSE OF SMELL CAUSES FORGOTTENESS** The loss of the sense of smell is called anosmia, its decrease is called hyposmia, and the perception of bad odor is called cacosmia. Anosmia may occur in various organic diseases such as brain tumors and exposure to chemical substances, and in the use of some drugs such as cocaine. Anosmia directly affects memory, and can also create distraction. It can even occur among the first symptoms of serious forgetfulness diseases such as Alzheimer's. Your choice of Coffee reveals your personality **Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you a lot of information about coffee.** **I can say that it will be a long article because our topic is very comprehensive. :)** In a study that observed coffee consumption in England, it was concluded that coffee preferences also reflect people's personalities. According to a report in The Independent, your choice of coffee reveals your personality. According to research conducted in England, 70 million cups of coffee consumption per day is observed. Since coffee is one of the most consumed beverages, a researcher named clinical psychologist Ramani Durvasula observed over 1000 people and investigated the relationship between the type of coffee consumed and the character. According to the results of the research, it was concluded that there is a link between coffee preferences and personality traits, introversion and extroversion. Here are your character traits according to your coffee preferences... **Plain filter coffee** If your preference is for black coffee, you are generally one of those people who prefer a meticulous, simple life, but who can react suddenly and harshly to changes, in other words, they do not like change, and adhere to traditions. **Classic Latte: milk and sugar** According to Durvasula, those who prefer Latte are also humble and reliable people who are fond of comfort. In addition, it has been observed that there are people who are warm, cheerful and can give emotional reactions from time to time. **If you want sugar on the side** You have a character who does not take life very seriously and likes to act spontaneously, it cannot be said that you have a very selective nature. You are a cheerful person who just wants to enjoy what you do. **Extra hot** According to research by psychologists at Yale University, people who hold a hot glass of drink are more giving, more understanding, and more loving than people who hold a cold drink. **Cappuccino** It has been stated that it is the preference of people who are somewhat obsessive, dissatisfied, controlling, sensitive and apprehensive. **Instant coffee** If you are one of those who prefer instant coffee, you usually have a calmer, relaxed, maybe a little careless character. **If you are adding cream** You are a perfectionist. Since you do not like the taste of dry coffee, you color it with a little cream. It is so much simpler and more enjoyable. If you want the cream with you, it can be said that you are a bit of a control freak. Nothing suits your taste as well as your own adjustment. **Decaffeinated coffee** You are fond of your health. By taking enough caffeine, you know well how to bypass the harms of coffee and benefit from its benefits. **Lots of iced coffee** It is highly likely that you are a strict follower of trends, and if you do not give up on iced coffees, which are in fashion, you can say that you have a free spirit. **Double shot espresso** A choice that will keep you awake all the time. It is the coffee for those who live their life on the edge, so those who want to be vigorous and catch up with all their work all day long. **A big glass** You live an enviable life, find time to spare for everything and make the most of your life. You can't stand the lack of anything, you are one of those who say you can have it all. **Intensely flavored** In general, it can be said that it is the choice of carefree people. It has been observed that intensely flavored coffee makers, who like to make plans but cannot implement their plans, generally postpone their work. Since the research was conducted in England, Turkish coffee is not included in the research. For this reason, it will not be possible to reach a conclusion according to this study among coffee alcoholics in our country. Although for some people, coffee is just a two-syllable and five-letter word, for some people in the rest of the group, it is almost an indispensable pleasure, an energizing fuel and even a lifestyle. So much so that those who do not like coffee, although it is strange, it is quite normal for people who have deep bonds with coffee to look around because they cannot drink their morning coffee, to not focus on the work they do during the day, and to constantly say "I can't sober up today"... The content I have prepared today is for both coffee lovers and those who have deep ties to coffee and those who cannot make sense of it. Because in our content, we aim to facilitate coffee lovers' choice of coffee in daily life. We would like to explain the depths of coffee addiction to people who have a long distance from coffee, and we want to tell them that it is possible to establish an endless connection with “just one drink”. Happy reading everyone, have a great day with coffee. ***Which Coffee Should Be Drinked When?*** Before choosing coffee according to mood, let's start by discovering which coffee makes sense to drink in which interval of the day. J **Recommended Coffees After Waking Up** Coffee addicts want to get this drink they love when they wake up in the morning and want to get rid of their sleepiness. In addition, they want to take the first step to meet the day with one of their favorite flavors by drinking coffee and thus have a pleasant day. Since the primary purpose of morning coffee drunk in the first moments of the day is to eliminate the effects of sleep, it would be more logical to drink strong coffee after waking up. At this point, Americano, Espresso, filter coffee and Turkish coffee can be preferred. If you can't drink coffee without milk, you can meet the day by choosing Flat White, which has a very high coffee rate. **Other Information About Morning Coffee** One of the lifestyles that has become very popular lately is Intermittent Fasting. People who will follow this lifestyle, which requires eating at certain times of the day and staying hungry at other times, can drink coffee without milk and sugar during hunger hours. Especially people who do not like to have breakfast start their day with black coffee and have their first meal as lunch. If you are thinking of doing Intermittent Fasting, you can drink a milk-free and sugar-free coffee in the morning and consume your first meal as lunch thanks to the satiety feature of coffee. Thus, you can start to experience a lifestyle that both rejuvenates and brings a healthier life. It does not make sense to choose one of the types of coffee with sugar as your morning coffee. Because blood sugar, which is low in the morning, rises rapidly when one of the types of coffee with syrup or sugar is drunk. If this turns into a habit of drinking coffee with sugar in the morning, it will cause serious problems such as diabetes in the future. **Recommended Coffees to Drink at Noon and Afternoon** The most suitable times of the day for coffee lovers to drink the coffee they want with peace of mind are noon and afternoon. Because in these two times, blood sugar is not as low as in the first light of the morning, nor is there a possibility that drinking coffee will affect sleep. For this reason, syrupy lattes, Caramel macchiato and Mocha can be drunk at noon and in the afternoon. Even if you don't like sugary coffees, you can choose from strong coffees. People who are described as "white collar" and usually do desk jobs usually eat lunch early and start to feel hungry again in the afternoon-afternoon. Unsweetened coffee with milk is a very healthy snack when drunk during these hours. If you are on a diet or are someone who pays attention to a healthy diet, you can drink latte, cappuccino, flat white or filter coffee with milk during these hours. You can even consume a portion of fruit and a handful of nuts with your coffee and experience a long-term satiety. **Suggested Coffees to Drink in the Evening** Studies by scientists prove that coffee varieties containing caffeine reduce the sleep hormone. So coffee varieties make it difficult to fall asleep. For this reason, it is very important to choose the coffee to drink in the evening to relieve all the tiredness of the day. Coffee to be drunk in the evening should not be in very large portions. For example, it wouldn't make much sense to drink an Americano with a huge mug at this time of day. Because drinking such a large amount of coffee and consuming too much caffeine will make it difficult to sleep at night. Because of all these things, it makes more sense to drink coffee in small cups in the evening. In fact, if you like coffee with milk, it will be a very right choice to drink a coffee with milk for pleasure in the evening. If you can't drink coffee with milk, you can enjoy yourself by drinking a small cup of Turkish coffee. After examining the answer to the question of which coffee should be drunk at which moment of the day, it is time to choose coffee according to different moods! If you're ready, we'll start. **Recommended Coffees to Drink While Happy** There is a phrase that we love very much: "Strengthening your strength"! For this reason, we think that it would be very accurate to choose a coffee that will increase happiness even more when you are happy. As almost everyone knows, chocolate is a food that increases the level of serotonin in the brain. That is, it makes the person feel happy. For this reason, happiness can be increased even more by drinking chocolate coffee while being happy. So, you can have a mocha or a latte with chocolate syrup while you are in a good mood. **Recommended Coffees to Drink When You're Sad** You had a problem at your workplace. In the evening, you agreed to have coffee with your friend. If you want to raise your morale when you arrive at the venue, the formula is still the same! So the formula is chocolate again! Even when you are sad, you can elevate your mood by choosing one of the chocolate coffees. Of course, at this point, if you are someone who likes red fruits, you can change your mood by drinking a latte with raspberry syrup. By the way, let's not forget that if you are not very good with sugar, you can make a healthier choice by reducing the amount of syrup by talking to the barista who prepares your coffee. **Coffees to Drink While Sleepy** If you are in a sleepy mood, you will not need a chocolate coffee this time. Because strong coffees will definitely make you sleepy. As we mentioned before, coffee is a sleep-inducing beverage. In other words, if you have a meeting in the morning or if you are a student and have an exam the next day, you can choose flavors such as Americano, Espresso, Ristretto Bianco. **Which one do you like most ? :)** I hope that I have made the coffee choices in your life easier with this article. :)

Why do we feel happy when we eat chocolate? **Why Chocolate Makes Happy?** There is no doubt that chocolate is one of the most popular foods in the world. Children and adults love this food and generally have to avoid it for dietary and dental health reasons. It's no surprise that chocolate has been around for centuries. There is evidence that chocolate consumption can be traced back at least 4,000 years.   The Mokaya people of Mexico and Guatemala consumed it as a beverage. It has since spread all over the world and is loved by people in every part of the world. Chocolate consists of cocoa seeds, also called cocoa beans. These cocoa beans are processed into three types: dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. Chocolate is not only a delicious dessert, but also has many benefits for our health. Most importantly, it makes you happy! Chocolate is one of the healthiest snacks you'll ever eat. Chocolate contains many chemicals that affect the brain. **Perceived by the brain as a reward**   The scientifically proven effect of chocolate has meaning beyond hormones. Chocolate can make people feel better because it can have a positive effect on the brain. The brain sees the chocolate entering the body as a reward and ensures the secretion of endorphins. Dozens of compounds in its content reach the brain and trigger many hormones. The result is by the brain to feel happy. **Chocolate is more than happiness**   Chocolate can feed the stomach and the brain at the same time. Chocolate is a very powerful antioxidant that fights cancer and benefits heart disease. Research on the benefits of chocolate shows that it is a magical and nutritious food. At the same time, cocoa powder is the main ingredient of chocolate, which ensures blood flow to the brain. This contributes to the improvement of brain function. **It should be consumed in the right amount**   It is said that chocolate was consumed for therapeutic purposes in many historical sources and was even sold in pharmacies for a while. However, it is important to find the right size for everything and not miss the dose. Currently, the ideal amount is 20 grams per day. The healthiest option is dark chocolate with more cocoa.  **The Relationship of Chocolate with Hormones**   In women, the decrease in estrogen hormones during menstruation increases the desire for sweets. This requirement is usually met with an easily accessible piece of chocolate stored in a corner of the refrigerator or home. During the menstrual period of women, serotonin and estrogen decrease together.   Chocolate consumed during this period can increase the serotonin content and balance the hormone content. The same is true for hunger. When they are hungry, serotonin and endorphins lower blood sugar, making people feel nervous and unhappy. That's why people crave sweets when they are hungry. A piece of chocolate balances hormone levels in a short time and people start to feel happier. **The Relationship of Chocolate with Depression**   Research on chocolate allows us to learn something new every time and we are surprised. Now let's compare the chemicals in chocolate with prescription antidepressants. Research on chocolate and other foods found that an ingredient in the foods studied had the same effect as a "mood-stabilizing" drug given to people with depression.   This information explains why chocolate is so comforting. However, of course, those who use depression medication should not only resort to chocolate, they should definitely not stop taking medication without consulting a doctor. Chocolate and similar foods have positive properties in terms of taste and function. You can lead an active life with exercise support and regular quality sleep. As we have said, all these benefits are only the result of regular and moderate consumption. **Does the type and amount of chocolate you consume matter?**   The answer to this question is yes. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate have completely different ingredients. Among them, dark chocolate is the healthiest chocolate. Eat less milk chocolate and white chocolate if possible.   Dark chocolate is mainly made from cocoa solids and cocoa butter and contains almost no sugar. Try to eat high-quality chocolate. Remember, too much is harmful and so is chocolate. Dark chocolate contains too many calories, which can cause weight gain. You should consume one or two small pieces a day. **Unknown Benefits of Chocolate**   These days, where it is said that chocolate is harmful to health everywhere, there is no mention of the health benefits of chocolate.   However, when chocolate is consumed correctly, it has more benefits than harm to health. **1. It Makes You Happy**  According to the research, the consumption of chocolate makes people happy all of a sudden, thanks to the natural ingredients in it. **2. It is an appetite suppressant**  It has been observed that people lose their appetite when chocolate is consumed. The reason for this is that the ingredients in chocolate provide people with a feeling of satiety. **3. Good for the Heart** Regular and little chocolate consumption is very beneficial for heart health. **4. Good for Your Skin** Thanks to the oils in chocolate, chocolate makes your skin look brighter. It also shortens the treatment time of sunburns. **5. Regulates Blood Flow** Chocolate has been observed to regulate blood flow. In this way, it also shortens the healing time of wounds. It also regulates insulin levels in the blood. **6. It is prebiotic** Chocolate is a prebiotic food. So it keeps your intestines working properly. **7. Has Anti-Aging Properties** Thanks to the nutrients in chocolate, it is an anti-aging food. With its anti-aging properties, it delays your aging and nourishes you.

Do You Know How The Sea Affects Our Brains? Have you ever thought about how the sea can affect our brain? Covering approximately 80% of the planet we live in, this enormous blue water offers a completely different world, romantic and deep, as well as brutal and majestic. The sea is a giant that gets violent in one second and calms down like a lamb the next. Great writers such as Charles Baudelaire also had a fondness for and respect for the sea. “Free man, you will always love the sea!” sentences such as This enormous sea, which has such a special place for people, is not just a huge body of water. **How does the sea affect our brain?** Many neuroscientists have studied how the sea affects our brain. M. Rudd, R. A. Baron and M.C. Researchers like Diaomond are famous scientists on this subject. Each of them has also done research on that enormous blue ocean in our minds. Can you imagine what kind of results came out? One thing that is certain is that the effects of the sea on our psyche are generally very positive. The romance and desire for freedom that inspire us is not a force to be ignored, but it also has findings backed by science. ***“We must always watch the sea. It's like a mirror that doesn't lie."*** ***– Yasmina Khadra*** **The sea fascinates people** Many psychologists at Minnesota and Stanford universities have conducted a study on the effects of the sea on the human brain. One of the results they have achieved is that the density of the sea evokes a kind of admiration and astonishment in our souls. In fact, this process gives us relief. And the possibility that something this enormous could kill us with a single wave is truly astounding. However, the majestic feelings it awakens in us add beauty to our souls, thanks to our brain trying to understand this ocean. Therefore, the sea, for example, by making us behave more generously, lays the groundwork for great changes in our character and decisions. Also, as if that weren't enough, the sea also changes our perception of time, making the seconds seem like they're passing more slowly, and sometimes it can even feel like time has stopped. **The sea is a creative stimulant** In general, when we are working, talking or taking care of our children, the human brain somehow goes into a "busy" state. However, the sea changes this situation drastically and relaxes our mental processes. Once we relax, our nerve connections are basically activated. In the general calm and well-being caused by the density of the sea, the most creative, bright and original ideas come to our minds. In reality, this process is pretty easy to understand. When we enter relaxation mode, our worries disappear. At that moment, the prefrontal area of the brain is brought under control, and therefore our "magical thoughts", so to speak, begin to flow freely. Hence, our thoughts become more original, less critical and much more open. **The sea causes meditation** The sea has positive effects on our mind. Meditation is an ancient technique with proven benefits in the human brain. The state of meditation increases the stimulation of the brain waves and can even change them. In this case, it is the waves of the sea that take our attention to the next level. The effect of the sound of the waves on us has the power to remove everything around us, with relaxation and a state of peace, as well as the alpha brain waves associated with exertion. As we said before, the sea makes the human brain creative. Interestingly, the sea is also related to alpha brain waves that provide a state of mental clarity. This sea has the power to wipe out our entire environment in an instant; In such a case, our entire being would be as if floating in a bubble with a great integrity of meaning. ***“The ocean was one of the biggest things he had ever seen in his life – bigger and deeper than anything he had ever imagined. As I looked at it, its color, shape and expression changed according to time, place and weather.”*** ***– Haruki Murakami*** Now you know a little more about how the sea affects our brain. If you get an opportunity these days, all you have to do is just enjoy this beauty as it is. If you have a chance to contemplate with the blue ocean, please don't waste it and be grateful with your whole being and mind.

How do you deal with stress? Suggestions... We can be exposed to a lot of stressful situations during the day, sometimes for reasons beyond our control, just to feel like a more successful, more productive, more accepted person. Just as burning the candle from both ends to get more light will solve our problem in the short term, but it will consume the candle quickly in the long run, just as putting ourselves under too much stress in order to get better can cause us to burn out very quickly without realizing it. Stress management offers practical tips on how to manage our stress response in healthy ways in the face of difficult life events and situations we cannot control.   You must have come across the allegory of the frog sitting in a pot on the fire somewhere. If the frog falls into a pot of boiling water, it will realize that this is a dangerous situation for itself and will immediately try to escape. However, when water enters the pot while it is not yet warm, it will continue to stay in the pot without being aware of the danger that awaits it, that is, the water is getting hotter, even though it faces the same danger.   Does this scenario sound familiar to you? To be more specific, have there been times when you didn't just accept the little pressures from your environment and just say no to the smallest thing anyway, and eventually you experienced that even the smallest things got too much and you couldn't handle it? Don't worry, you are not alone. Today, one in three people struggle with anxiety, depression and the devastating effects of stress, which are directly related to chronic stress. Well, when everything is so obvious and chronic stress is so central to our lives, isn't there a way to 'turn down the heat'?   It seems that the stress factors, which have doubled in our lives with the pandemic period, will continue to exist as a threat to our mental and physical health both in the current time period and at least in the near future.   Therefore, we need to research very well how we can cope with stress, how we can manage our stress response in the face of situations we cannot control, and how we can prevent stress from becoming 'chronic' and learn how to integrate it into our lives. **Is stress a manageable response?** The three basic steps of stress management are to be able to recognize certain stress factors, to analyze their causes after noticing them, and to take action after analyzing them to minimize the effects of these factors on both our physical and mental health. There are hundreds of different methods and tools that have been scientifically proven to be effective in dealing with stress, known as the response of our body to the difficult experiences that we encounter in life and that we cannot control.   Meditation, yoga and exercise are among the most popular stress management techniques that we have heard of in recent years. However, just as everyone's stress response to different situations may be different, our mechanisms for coping with stress may also be unique to us. Therefore, while preparing our recommendations, we have chosen to prepare a comprehensive list of different approaches, where you can choose the ones that are most suitable for your lifestyle, habits and coping mechanisms, although not all of them are suitable for you.   But first, we would like to make one thing clear: Our goal is not to lead a completely stress-free life. Stress is a natural and instinctive reaction that we all experience from time to time and is essential for our survival. Therefore, while applying our recommendations, your primary goal is not to completely get rid of stress by adopting a hostile approach to stress; Learning how to balance your body and mind in situations of intense stress. **Points to consider about stress management**   Before examining different stress management techniques, you need to consider these 7 factors determined by the American Psychological Association that you should pay attention to when applying all techniques: **1. Understand your stress mechanism**   Everyone's stress response and perception of various life events can be very different from each other. Understanding what stress means to you and what processes take place in your body and mind when you react to stress will guide you to understand which technique will benefit you. **2. Analyze your sources of stress well**   Stress, as we mentioned in detail before, does not arise spontaneously. For the stress response to occur, a situation perceived as a threat must be experienced. Understanding what is a potential trigger for you in your business life, in your relationship with your family, in your communication with your partner or in your daily life experiences other than these situations will also allow you to control these situations as much as possible. **3. Learn to recognize stress signals**   Because we all experience the stress process differently, you must learn to sense specific signals from your body and mind in times of stress. When you are stressed, follow body signals very well, such as not being able to tolerate even the smallest mistakes, headaches, nausea, diarrhea or constipation. **4. Review your methods of coping with stress**   Stress is an instinctive reaction that is with us from the first moment we are born, although we are not aware of it, we develop many different strategies to cope with it throughout our lives. Try to understand how you calm yourself down when you are stressed and what is good for you. You may discover that some of your coping mechanisms are healthy, while others may reduce your stress but harm your body and mind in other ways. **5. Look for healthy ways to deal with stress**   Gaining insight into what your current unhealthy coping behaviors are will be a great opportunity to replace them with healthy options. For example, if your current behavior is to overeat when you're stressed, you might instead meditate or contact friends who you think can support you with your situation. **6. Make self-care your priority** When we take time for ourselves, we put our own well-being and health ahead of everything else and everyone else. Although this may seem like a very selfish point of view at first glance, the announcement that you have to put on your own oxygen mask before your child on the plane also applies to self-care. In order to be able to help others, nurture and support others around you, you must first be well. The simplest things that support your well-being, such as adequate sleep, a healthy diet, and exercise, may be the self-care practices you often neglect the most. **7. Get professional help if you need it** Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you may not get effective results from your effort. The support of your friends, family or yourself may not be enough, or you may not have such a social support mechanism in your life. At this point, working on the above 6 items and getting support from a mental health professional in developing healthy coping mechanisms will make numerous contributions to your life. **Healthy stress management techniques**   After these 7 suggestions about stress management that you should pay attention to, you can start to apply the most suitable stress method techniques that we have prepared for you. We will analyze our recommendations under three separate headings: behavior-focused techniques, emotion-focused techniques, and acceptance-focused techniques. **Behavior-focused stress management techniques** Behavior-oriented stress management techniques, as the name suggests, can offer effective solutions especially for those who have difficulty in taking the first step and who want to get away from stressful situations quickly. **Look assertive and confident**  Clear and effective communication is the key to appearing confident and assertive. When our self-confidence is high, it becomes much easier to tell other people what we want or need. In addition, we can easily express why we are uncomfortable. The key to effective self-confidence in managing stress is to be able to continue to empathize with others while demonstrating your confidence with determination. Once you have identified what message you want to convey to the other person, you can take proactive steps to change the stressful situation.get away from the noises   Getting away from technological tools, screens and notifications is one of the most effective things you can do to get away from stress. Set a quiet time for yourself each day. When you start practicing this every day and make it a routine, you may realize that many of your responsibilities that you think you need to do and that you think you need to do are not as important as you exaggerate. Remember that recharging is a very effective way to deal with stress. **Learn how to manage time** As long as you allow it, days will consume you, not days. When you don't realize this, you may feel that the minutes are flying out of your palm and you can't keep up with anything. However, when you prioritize and put your responsibilities in order and you see the ones you complete disappear one by one from your to-do list, you will feel that your life is less stressful and more enjoyable. **Set your limits** Boundaries consist of rules that we create for ourselves internally, that are not imposed on us from the outside. The boundaries we set for ourselves determine what behaviors we accept and don't accept, how much time and space we need away from others, and what our priorities are.   It is very important to be able to set healthy boundaries in order to lead a stress-free life. We respect ourselves when we have healthy boundaries, and we make our boundaries clear to others so that other people respect those boundaries as well. **Get out of the folds of your minds** Sometimes trying to ignore the thoughts that are competing with each other and trying to take over the focus of your mind may be the only and best technique you need. It's a fact that we all need a break sometimes. All of the activities that will take your attention away from your mind will help you focus on your mind and get rid of stress. Watch a movie, call a loved one, see a friend, go for a walk, or engage in any activity that distracts you from your mind. Emotion-focused stress management techniques Emotion-focused stress management techniques focus on changing how we perceive stressful situations, that is, how we relate to the negative and challenging situations we experience. As William James said: Our most powerful weapon against stress is our freedom to choose which thought to focus on! **Affirmations and visualization**   It is scientifically proven that positive visualizations and affirmations enable us to experience positive emotions. So how do affirmations and positive visualizations do this? When you deliberately think about or visualize any positive experience in your mind, the brain perceives it as real. So he approaches these positive thoughts and images as if we were trying something really positive. Therefore, when we replace our negative thoughts with positive ones, the window through which we look at the world and the emotions we experience also turn into positive ones.   In the mid-1950s, psychologist Dr. Albert Ellis introduced cognitive restructuring, a technique he developed to understand negative emotions and challenge the false/stereotyped beliefs that cause them. Cognitive restructuring is one of the most fundamental components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and it basically aims to change thoughts, behaviors through thoughts, and emotions as a result of behaviors in different techniques and applications. ABC Technique   The ABC technique, like cognitive restructuring, was developed by psychologist Dr. Although developed by Albert Ellis, the version used today was finalized by Martin Seligman. ABC letters basically represent three concepts: A-adversity (difficulty), that is, the stressful situation; B-beliefs (beliefs), ie our reaction to the challenging situation; C-consequences (consequences), that is, our behavior governed by our beliefs and all our experiences in the face of a challenging situation. This technique basically says that the more optimistic our beliefs in challenging situations, the more positive the emotions we will experience as a result. What are the consequences of your stereotypes in your belief system? Acceptance and awareness focused stress management techniques Acceptance and awareness-oriented stress management techniques offer an extremely effective roadmap for dealing with stressful situations that we cannot control. **Healthy eating and exercise**   Effects of chronic stress on physical health: How does stress affect our body? In our article, we talked in detail about how chronic stress negatively affects our physical health as well as our mental health, and how it causes inflammation in all systems of the body. Therefore, one of the first steps to both avoiding stress and reducing the negative effects of chronic stress on our body is to take good care of our body. You must have heard the saying, “You are what you eat.” Eating with awareness, analyzing what you take into your body well, eating healthy; Reducing the consumption of addictive substances such as alcohol, processed sugar and caffeine as much as possible will help you cope with anxiety and stress.   Another proven way to reduce stress and prevent it from becoming chronic is exercise. Many scientific studies examining the relationship between exercise and mental health show that exercise acts as a natural antidepressant in reducing stress and symptoms of depression.

9 tips to improve your focus Thousands, tens of thousands, or so much more information is flowing in from everywhere. One of the notifications is ending, the other is raining like a waterfall.   Maybe you have dreams, but the pandemic does not allow. And frankly, you're going to do just about anything for your dreams and goals, but then you see, there's no time left. While social media has taken you prisoner or other things, today is over. Dreams are unfinished.   When you say that today is past, tomorrow is time; After a while, that state of ignorance has already turned into letting go. Even if you have the energy and time, you see that the current situation has become so relaxed and you have gotten used to it so well that both your dream and your goal have expired, and the timeout has prevailed. Does what I'm talking about sound familiar?   Recently, in my trainings and coaching sessions, I often say “I have difficulty focusing”, “I should take a walk every day. Today I can't do it", "I want to finish this book, but I read at most 2 pages, then my mind goes to other things" I hear a lot of similar topics from you. How can some athletes, artists, managers, or someone in our environment be highly focused, while distractions come at us with all their might? Based on all these thoughts, I wanted to share a little with you on focusing.   Firstly… **How strong of a craving do you feel?** Whatever you want to focus on, how much do you want it? What is its importance and value to you? What kind of result will you meet when you are fully focused, and what will this result add to your life? Visualize the answers to all these questions, and if you are excited and excited about the gains it will bring you, you are one step closer to focusing.   **Distractions out the door!** What are your distractions? How possible is it for you to remove distractions for a moment the moment you focus? For example, turn off your cell phone notifications (audible ones if possible), keep your cell phone out of the room. During the focusing time, stick a note on the door, such as "Do not disturb for an hour please"...   **Give yourself time and hug yourself affectionately**. If you are learning a skill and trying to focus on it, are there some internal/external barriers to your focus? Take a look. Acquiring a skill happens when you perform a certain amount of repetitions (remember the 21-day rule). Even if you make mistakes in this process, have motivating conversations with yourself. Ask for supportive and constructive feedback from your environment. Keep those who share the opposite a little distance from your environment.   **Find your beliefs that support you.** In the meantime, check your beliefs. Everyone learns everything, although focus and repetition times vary. But if you have beliefs such as "I can't do this", please get individual support.   **Practice meditation and being present.** Learn to improve your attention to focus. Just like a muscle. Meditation and staying in the moment exercises will increase your focus time. Incorporating certain routines into your life in this regard increases your focus times in other areas.   **Self-awareness exercises always work.** Do self awareness exercises. Knowing yourself, discovering the shining and somewhat faded sides of your inner world, looking at yourself from the outside, working on your values will enable you to reveal more clearly what is important to you in life. All this work helps you focus on yourself first. **If you're tired, take a break.** Take a break. Listen to music, go out into nature. Take care to be present. Pay attention to what you see, hear and smell there at that moment. If your mind wanders, gently invite it into the moment.   **Get coaching.** Coaching is also the art of focused thinking. Getting regular coaching to strengthen your focus muscles will positively affect you and your life.   **Ask yourself questions.** Please ask yourself these questions: What is the cost of not being able to focus right now? What opportunities might you be missing? What do you have in your life that will excite you and increase your dedication?   Whatever you give your focus to, magnifies it and you get results from it. If you are dividing your attention into a thousand and one pieces during the day outside of your life goals, take a look at the results you get. If you are not satisfied with the results, starting with learning to focus first will improve the quality of your life.    Always remember: “Life blooms at the point you focus on, it comes to life.”   With love…

10 Ways to Live Without Regrets Have you ever missed a chance in your life that you will regret later on? Or have you said no to a subject that can be a lesson to you throughout your life? In fact, often the fear of failure makes us do actions that we regret later. Here we present you 10 different ways to live life without regret. **1. Be Yourself Under All Conditions** In fact, the best thing you can do to avoid regret is to be yourself, no matter the cost. You can't be yourself if you live your life to see what your family, friends, lover will think about what you do. In this case, you carry many regrets with you throughout your life. At the end of the day, it's not about how many wacky ideas you have. After a while, people can adapt to even the most extreme ideas, but remember that you regret everything you didn't do. **2. Do Things You Are Not Good At** Just because you do something you're not good at doesn't mean you won't actually enjoy or benefit from it. Therefore, don't stop doing things you're not good at for fear of failure. Think about it, when we were children, we did not do many things because other children were doing better. There is no need to carry the same feelings into our lives when we grow up. Are you bad at your matches on the volleyball court, or can't you really hold the racket while playing tennis? **3. Stand Up For Yourself And Others** Spreading false rumors about people you know? Then defend them against these untrue things. If you know that these are not true, all you can do is stand up and defend them. So another day they will defend you if you fall into the same situation. **4. Don't Worry About Rejection** Don't give up on the things you plan to do for fear of rejection. Failure or rejection are natural consequences that you will eventually experience. For example, if you don't ask someone out because you think you will be rejected, they will always remain as a missed possibility. **5. Learn to Listen to Your Intuition.** You can't always analyze every case thoroughly and make a decision. Sometimes your over-analysis can cause you to get confused. In such situations, you need to listen to your intuition. If you feel that there is something wrong with an action, learn to listen to it. Learn to listen to your intuition, even if your logic or emotions may guide you differently at times. Be sure that you will profit from it and you will not experience unnecessary regrets. **6. Tell Other People How You Feel** If you don't tell other people how you feel about them or events, you will always live a life full of regrets. If you love some people, put it into words and tell them. Although you try to show it with your actions, some people like to hear it with words. This makes them much more happy. In addition, clearly convey the events that you do not like and that you feel bad about, so that these thoughts do not return to your mind. Otherwise, they may cause worse results and you may experience great regrets. **7. Don't Be Afraid of Embarrassment** Don't be afraid to feel ashamed for some of the things you've done. So, for example, don't be shy about speaking in public. If you imagine that everyone listening to you at that time is naked and you are dressed, there will be nothing to be ashamed of. We can all make mistakes. These mistakes are actually caused by behaviors that do not conform to the norms of the society. However, the ideals of society may not always suit us. In this case, we must continue to be ourselves. Remember, everyone can make mistakes. In this case, if you think that every person like you can make mistakes, there will be no shame. **8. Admit Your Mistakes** When we start to accept our mistakes, we start to solve many problems that have been experienced until that day before they appear. If we do not cling to an empty belief in our mistakes because of our pride, our relations with people will be much better. People make mistakes, but their pride often prevents them from admitting it. However, if you accept the mistakes you have made, no one will be angry with you and it will allow you to live a much more peaceful life. In addition, you will not be doing injustice to anyone knowingly. This will remove all the regrets you will experience in the future. **9. Don't Make Friends With The Wrong People** There will not always be positive and helpful people in your life. You will meet a lot of negative and pull back people and you will be friends with some of them. Of course, leaving such people behind will not be easy, but the best thing is to let them go from your life. In this way, you will make room in your life for new people who can affect you positively. You allow such people to come into your life. **10. Learn to Forgive and Forget** You will never be able to move towards a happy future if you are constantly hung up on past events that are full of mistakes made by you or others in the past. So if you need to forgive someone to resolve past events, learn to do so. In this way, there will be no unresolved and stuck events and situations in your past. Also learn to forget past events, bad situations. If you constantly resent people and live in the situation, you will have poor health and lose your ability to trust people. The formula for avoiding resentment is to forgive and forget.

Why is it so hard to focus: What can we do to be in the moment? They asked a sage, "How do you manage to remain so calm, can you please tell us, what is the secret of this work?" The wise replied, “When I am chatting with someone, I only listen to him and talk to him, I eat while I eat, I walk while I walk.” The audience got impatient. Bilge repeated: “I listen to someone while chatting, I eat while I eat, I walk while I walk.” And on top of that, he added: “When you talk to someone, you think about what to say or something else, you watch TV while you eat, talk on the phone while walking, think about other things while doing a job.” Do you remember the last time you really focused on whatever job you were doing? I don't know where I read this story and then I couldn't find it on the internet, so I tried to pass it on as best I can remember. Of course, I did not neglect to adapt it to the present day. The message trying to convey is very clear. Being able to focus is perhaps one of the most difficult skills to maintain today. I realized the other day that I couldn't watch an 8-minute video without interruption. It caught my eye, I gathered around, looked at other videos below the video, texted my friend, ordered food etc. I don't think I need to mention how my mind jumped from one subject to another during this process and I thought about many more things. Was it really so hard to devote only 8 minutes and all my attention to this video? Just watching a movie while watching a movie, just listening and staying on topic while having a conversation… These seem like luxury. No wonder we couldn't stay calm. We need to train our minds in this direction so that we can only focus on what we are doing at that moment. The only way to improve is to be willing and practice. Whatever work you decide to focus on, can you put aside everything else at that moment? You will realize that it is not easy at all when you bring such a focusing experience to life. Yes, putting the phone on silent and moving to a quiet corner can work. By doing this, however, you are only removing external distractions. Our minds and thoughts are with us all the time and it is not possible to leave them aside. It is a fact that meditating by focusing on the breath is very effective at letting our thoughts come and go. Besides, one of the ways that works for me is to have paper and pen with me. When I think of another task that I want to do, I take notes and embody it. In this way, I feel that I have freed my mind from the responsibility of constantly reminding me against the risk of forgetting. Because you really want to focus on what you're doing, you may need to remind yourself, "I'm doing this right now," when thoughts or urges come. The more successful you are in turning your attention to the work you are doing, the more you will see that your focus time improves over time.
