Wall paper stickers

Today I am not good at title plugging. Haha. Yesterday as I have mentioned in noise cash, I will be doing Oh's delivery wall paper background.

She was complaining the dirt, on the wall and has been wanting to change the walls color of paint. When she asked me about the possible price of paints and other consumables to be used, he decline the painting recommendation once I have informed him of the possible prices. I told her, I could get some extra paints on site. Haha. By then it will reduced the possible expenses.

If I can recall the price of the paint 1 Gal of Flat Latex paint - boysen brand, the cost ranges between 500-700php, which by estimating is more than enough on the wall she wanted to paint. Besides the paint you still need baby roller which will cost you about 70-90php, depending on the hardware and a liha paper for preparation of the surface, sometimes a 2" brush will be needed too and a masking tape for the cutting and termination. And we will be needing a lot of time to repaint the area. She might have been gone crazy for what I told her. Haha.

Truthfully, yesterday she told me that she ordered wall paper sticker brick type and will be delivered the same date, but it just came today.

What are wall paper stickers?

Wall paper sticker can be of any type, brick types, polkadot or any of your type. They can be used as wall accent or decoration on your wall to make them alive. As I've seen they are made of like, styro type with printed design and a glued adhesive on the back. They are widely use in interior walls.

Advantages of Wallpaper Sticker

1. Easy to install

2. Cheap, my friend bought it for 50php each or 1$ per 70x70 cm area.

3. You can save paying labor cost because you can install it by yourself and a friend or your kid.

4. You can choose whatever you like. And areas to put it into. (Dry areas) You can use it your bed head board.

5. It can be change easily. You just have to remove it and you can finally change it.

6. You won't smell anything like paint smell.

Disadvantages of Wallpaper sticker

1. I don't know how long it will stay glued on the wall.

2. I don't think it is applicable for wet areas.

3. I don't know how long the color of the sticker will last.

How to install Wall paper sticker?

For the material you only needed the wall paper sticker.

For computation on how many wall paper sticker you would need you just get the area of the wall and divide it by the area of your wall paper.

Where :

N= number of wall papers

Aw = Area of wall

Awp = Area of wall paper

For example :

The are of wall she wanted to change, is 2.45 sq.m and the area of wall paper he ordered was .7x.7m so =2.45/(0.7x.7m) = 5pcs. She bought 5 pcs of it.

What you have to do first is to layout the center of your wall and try to see whether you want to start at the very end of the wall or in the middle of the wall as for my recommendation, its easier if you start in the edges that are easily seen by the eyes.

Steps

• Layout

• Clean the wall surface, much as possible use a wet cloth to remove dirt.

• Try to attached the wall paper sticker without removing the paper at the back of it.

• Then if you think your layout is acceptable, remove the paper at the back of the wall paper sticker the brown color shown in the upper left photo.

• Attached it to the wall slowly and with grace lol.

• And so on...

As you can see from bottom left that was the wall we put the wall paper stickers, there's no problem with it. It just look dirty and needed a lil paint. But I am not the one using it so. Haha. If you will look closely to the the white wall, it wasn't the ordinary plain wall you can see on other houses or on the roads or buildings. Just a lil trivia, or some knew about it, in the Philippines it is called "Anay Finish" Anay or Termites.

Anyway, as of writing Oh is kind of happy doing his/her thing on the table. And if you look at the photo above the wall becomes wider, I guess yellow color made the wall wide.

I take note not to wear shirts with yelow color. Haha. I only have white, black, brown and grey, sometimes blue. Yay. I'm so dull. Lol.
