Harness and Nurture A Success Mindset

When I was in college, my friend and I were "ambushed" by a stranger who insisted that we listen to a business opportunity talk. It was more of coercion, as I remember. We politely declined their offer but I don't know what happened to why they were able to convince us to attend their "seminar".

For about 45 mins, we struggled to listen to their business presentation. It was more like mind-conditioning, and the audience seems to either be insiders or hypnotized. Perhaps you already have an idea what kind of business I am referring to. Power!

I don't want to be antagonistic against Multi-Level Marketing businesses because I know there are legitimate MLMs out there. But some pyramiding scams and Ponzi schemes are hiding under the guise of MLMs and networking businesses.

But more than humorous and negative memories, I can also glean transferrable success principles from that experience.

Desire it, and be intentional to achieve it

Success begins when we commit ourselves to it. We have to believe it by heart even if we are still far from realizing it. People would not believe our dreams if we doubt them ourselves. We got to be the first to champion our success. We need to dream it, see it coming, and figuratively bleed it.

Use words that empower

Condition yourself to speak forth positive words to stimulate your mood in achieving your success. A winning mindset is a combination of hard work and positive thinking. Begin speaking words that empower. Replace words like "I can't", "It's impossible", "It can't be done" and "I'll never be enough" with positive and empowering words. Doing such induces your mind to operate at its peak performance level and helps you to feel amazing about yourself.

Don't Make Excuses

Have you heard of the phrase, "correlation doesn't always mean causation"? It means that not all the time, what we think is the reason for an incident is not always the exact cause, no matter how related they may seem. Sometimes we blame the Payday Sale for why we can't save enough money. Though promotions like these tempt us to spend more than we are willing to, the primary culprit is our lack of discipline. Another example is our excuse that our mother's cooking is excellent that's why we are not effective in our diet. But the real reason is not our mother's cooking, but our eating. So if we want to be successful, look past our common excuses and deal with the root cause of our problem. Don't make excuses.

Don't Be Afraid to Make Mistakes

I have written an article about not being afraid of making mistakes as long as we learn from them. Mistakes are normal, and it is uncommon to reach the pinnacle of success without failing at some point. Mistakes strengthen us, make us wiser, and serves as a stepping stone for our eventual success.

To be honest, I admire the enthusiasm of MLM people. They have what it takes to be successful! Given the right system and business opportunities, they can do amazing things. I know this because I met amazing people with MLM backgrounds and are now doing well in their respective businesses and career.

They sure have harnessed and nurtured a success mindset. Something I am learning to have every single day.

Harnessing and nurturing a success mindset involves cultivating a positive, growth-oriented attitude. Just as a Rabbitgoo cat harness provides security and control for a pet, a success mindset anchors you, guiding your focus and actions. It starts with setting clear goals and maintaining a positive outlook, much like how a harness ensures a cat's safety while exploring. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and learn from setbacks. Consistent effort and resilience build this mindset over time, just as a harness supports a cat’s journey. By integrating determination and adaptability, you can navigate your path to success with confidence and stability.
