How My Party Went1 I woke up not quite long and I was thinking of what to tell my family here today. I now thought of telling you all how my party went. I left home around 10:27pm yesternight and I got to the club 11:00pm. As Lagosians, we’re always getting late to somewhere. Maybe due to one traffic or the other. And again, there’s nothing like morning or night in Lagos😅 you can walk freely anytime you want. Just pray that they don’t snatch your bag or even injure you🤣. I stay in Bariga, Lagos state and I’m sure that some UNILAG students here may be familiar with the area or must have heard one or two things about the area. So if you walk at night in Odunsi, Ilaje or some crazy parts of Lagos, you’d know what I’m talking about. I even forgot to mention Ikorodu. Ikorodu Oga🙌🏽🙌🏽. If you know Ikorodu, you’re a valid Lagosian💯💯. Home of.... I think I need to leave this for another day. Everyone should have heard one or two things about Lagos. Lagos is fun and interesting peeps🙂. I think I should write something interesting about Lagos very soon. So when I got to the party, people were still very scanty. A lot of people have not arrived. But the party had started. I’m this kind of person that doesn’t really like to party without my boyfriend 😔. Don’t call me lover girl ooh😅. The party held at Ceaser’s Lounge and Grill at Victoria Island. Let’s divert a bit. What do you do when you get to a party? Are you the type that woo girls here and there? Are you the type that dances with everyone regardless of their look? Are you the type that form big girl and be playing candy crush instead of rocking the party? Well.... I’m the type that goes Gaga whenever you okay any Wizkid song. It’s so shocking that I didn’t perform that madness in the presence of Wizkid when I saw him. I had to even go back a bit because if I move close to him, i may faint or perform that madness I’m running for😅. I pray the Lord helps me So I took a sit outside the club. There’s a place where everyone can sit down outside the club. The compound is very big. Even big enough to host shows. After waiting for sometime, I saw my boyfriend and his friends. That fine boy with dreads☺️☺️. He’s a disc jockey. He actually came to work there. So he texted me to come over to where he and his friends were sitting so I could stay with him. I ordered chips, wines and shawarma. I forgot to take pictures but I still have the shawarma picture on my phone because it was very big so I had to snap it for my best friend so that we could go there to get our next shawarma. Now can you see how big the shawarma is😀 and I don’t eat much so I had to snap it. Then the party started fully. People were gyrating. I’m a very good dancer but I wore a very tight dress which deprived me of dance yesterday 😔. Then my boyfriend also got to the deck to start playing. He knows how much I love Wizkid. If you’re a a WizkidFC here type *“yaga’’.* That Igbo boy was just bursting my brain and he was playing Wizkid’a song back to back. Once he plays any song, he’ll look at my face because he knows that my head can scatter 😅. I really enjoyed myself at the party and I also took some peng pictures. I really enjoyed last night. I can even say it’s one of the best parties I’ve attended this year☺️☺️. Do you know why I titled it “How my party went1”?? It’s because this story has a second part and something very annoying happened while I was going home very early in the morning. I’ll definitely gist you all about it☺️. What Do I Do? Hello my mates. How are we all doing today? I hope we’re all doing good. I would have submitted my article since but my friend’s boyfriend is having his birthday today so I had to wake up very early this morning to follow my friend to his place so as to surprise him. I’m still there and we’re really having a great day. Trust me. I’m also going to another birthday party tonight. I just pray I don’t fall sick this year because of parties. I’m just wondering what my November and December will look like. You see that period, I don’t stay at home. I only come home very early in the morning around 5:00am, sleep till 11:00am, go out till the next day. Can you guess where I’m always going to, I’m always partying 🤣. You may even add party to my name, I don’t mind. Any party happening in the whole of Lagos state, you’ll find me there🤣. I’m still going to Abuja to party this December. I’ve always traveled to the east just to party. Lol, don’t mind me, I’m an event planner so I just have to go to a lot of parties. If you’re in UNILAG and you know Drey, kudos to you😃 maybe you love party too😀. There’s something that is really bothering me and I’ve decided to talk to everyone here about it. Let me start from here. In the month of May, this year, I was very ill. You know what happened? I had bacteria😔. When I asked the doctor what caused it, he said it may be the environment. But how come, why bacteria of all ailment. I spent four days in the hospital and I’m well. I got very lean but I took some tonics and multi vitamin. I just wanted to make sure that I gain back the weight that I lose. But I noticed something, ever since then, I’ve not been fat like I used to be. I changed my phone I would have loved to posted my picture. I’m looking so lean. I’ve tried a lot of things but it’s not working for me. Also, I don’t eat much. Maybe that’s why. Like last night, I didn’t eat at all. The thing bothering me are the people around me. Whenever someone sees me, they’ll start to tell me that I’m getting lean. It was so worst that a random guy gave me money to buy tonic. Maybe he felt like I didn’t have the money to get the tonic for myself 😔. What if I tell you that it is making me depressed already. Would you believe? Because it’s so sad and annoying when my people see me and they first thing they’ll say about me is that you’re getting very lean. Some people do not even have manners. They don’t know how to talk. They’ll just talk the way they like. Some people with African mentality will even ask if I’ve been used. I think Nigerians here will understand this. These words are so annoying. It’s making me depressed already. Maybe it’s even because of the depression that I’m not even gaining weight. God knows that these words really get to me. I’m pained and sad. It’s so sad that I’m going through this. If you’re a medical practitioner please I would appreciate if you can prescribe something to use for me. I’d really appreciate. Please this thing I posted here is so personal to me. It’s paining me like I’ve never felt any pain before. Any little thing could get me angry. Please mind the way that you’ll talk to me😭🙏🏽. Days We Should Prepare For Hello family, I’ve been a bit lazy since so I think I have strength to come back to my favorite platform here. I hope we all are doing good today? Hows life treating you all? Fair? Unfair? Uhm... Whichever way it is, I know that we all will be fine. So today, I’ll be talking about the days we should get prepared for. You know nothing lasts forever yeah? That’s why you should prepare for some days because when these days come, you wouldn’t be shocked that why is this happening to you. The days you should get prepared for are: 1. **The day you’ll die:** This is one of the most powerful days on earth. It is a very powerful day in our lives. As we all know, death is inevitable. Can you escape death? No!! You can’t. We all should live like there’s no tomorrow. Live like there’s nothing in this world. You know we don’t know where we’re going to after death. We all have heard a lot but since we’re not dead, we don’t know the real thing. I’m very sure we all know that we’re going to die someday so expect it. Take care of yourself. Don’t say that because you know you’ll die someday then you’ll live life recklessly. Don’t do that!!! Take good care of yourself. Live fine and good. We all will be alright. Don’t forget, prepare for the day that you will die. 2. **The day you’ll fail:** Let me ask some questions. Do you think you’ll just start a career today and everything will go on smoothly? No!!! There are ups and downs in this life. We can’t expect everyday to be sweet. We can’t expect ourselves to always pass every time. You’ll definitely fail. Failing doesn’t mean you’re a failure, it gives you experience and helps you to do better. But you know what, in everything you do, expect failure. Life is 50/50. It’s either you pass or fail. For example, if two football matches play together, one will surely win. The two of them can’t win. So therefore, prepare for the day that you’ll fail. 3. **The day you’ll be very happy or sad:** You’re surprised that I added this right? Yeah!!! I will. Here, I’ll be talking about how you can control your speech. Some days will come, you’ll be very happy maybe God had done something very good to you and you’re very happy. Also, some days will come, you’ll be very sad maybe due to the fact that you were betrayed by a friend. What do you do when you’re happy or sad? Some people make promises that they can’t fulfill. This is a very big part which can affect the rest of our lives. Let me tell you this, do not make temporary decisions when you’re happy or sad. Prepare for days like this so that when you face these challenges, you don’t say things or make promises that you can’t fulfill which can affect the rest of your life. 4. **The day you’ll get everything you’ve always prayed for:** Do you really believe in this? Yeah you should. Prayer is key. Prayer is life. When you’re free, sit down and think about the things that you have now if you’ve once prayed for it or not. Think about it very well. I’ll give you the time. Prepare for the days that you’ll get everything you prayed for. For example, if you pray to get married at age twenty five, prepare for it. Even if you’re twenty four today and you still do not have a relationship and you feel like your marriage can’t work at the age of twenty five again, still prepare for it. My God is the God of wonders. He will do anything. Even if you’re a hundred percent sure that it won’t happen the way you want it again, still prepare for it. Never Take People For Granted Hey family. Your favorite girl is here with another one today. Firstly, I’ve been sleeping inside my room and also thinking of an article to write here. Then I decided to jump on this. You know what, I do not like it when someone take me for granted. It makes me feel like a fool. Do you know what it takes for someone to have trust in you and you’ll just decide to take him or her for granted. It’s a very bad attitude that everyone should stop. Here, I’ll be giving you two different stories which happened to me and I hope we learn from it. They are: The transaction with victor Serving Kemisola 1. **The transaction with Victor:** I met victor some months ago on a very beautiful platform. Victor and I used to talk very well and he helped me with somethings I don’t know about the platform. With this, I trusted Victor a lot and expected him to be a very good friend. After someday, Victor told me that he trades crypto currency so in case I need someone to trade with, I should reach out to him instead of transacting with someone I don’t know at all which seems to be very risky. I told him that I love the idea and promised to trade with him when next I want to trade my crypto currency for money. The first day I traded crypto currency with him, it took time before the money could reflect into my bank account but I later saw the money. I was very happy. I thought I’ve seen someone I can trade with forever. One Monday morning, I decided to go to computer village to get myself an iPhone. The money with me wasn’t enough then I decided to trade $100 worth of BCH with him. Then the next thing he told me was that his bank account has been frozen so he needs to get to the bank to upgrade his bank account. After some hours, I called he said he’s on his way to the bank. In a nutshell, Victor blocked my line and ran away with my $100. He took me for granted and he took advantage of me. I wept because I worked damn hard for this money. I’m yet to get over it but it’s gone and I’m happy I’m healing little by little. Now what did he gain after doing this?? Nothing. The trust I have in him is dead and I’m sure he has done this to other people and many people will continue to say bad things about him. 2. **Serving Kemisola**: Kemisola has been my best friend for over twelve years. We wear the same cloth, eat the same food, go to the same school and also do every other thing together. There’s no way we would call ourselves best friends without having some issues. Issues will come and we’d definitely get over it by settling them. I’m a kind of person that loves to tell my best friend whatever is going on in my life maybe I could get some word of advice from her. Yeah, she does it. She advices me a lot. When we’re talking about a good friend, she’s the one. She’s the real one💯. Kemisola wasn’t from a rich home while my parents are well to do. Most times, I sponsor all of her activities. Before thinking about the next move in my life, I think about Kemisola first because she’s always up to something. Kemisola got sponsored by an uncle of hers some years back to travel to the United States. I was so happy. I bought almost everything she needed for her. I drove her to the airport. I lived like I came to the world to serve my best friend. Then when she came back we continued our friendship. We both planned to attend the same university. Then after some months, my friend and I were playing outside my house then she received a call and she told me that she’s coming. I waited for hours, I called her, it was not reachable. Then the next day, I went to her house and I was told that she went out. Then the next day, I received an international call. I was wondering who it was. I picked the call and it turned out to be my best friend begging me on phone that she’s sorry for not telling me that she’s traveling Abroad. Tears rolled down my eye. Even if I’m the worst friend ever, she’s supposed to tell me that she’s traveling. And it’s not like she’s coming back soon. She’s going there to study. I felt really bad. She took me for granted😭😭 and I promised myself not to ever love a friend again 😭😭. I cried my eyes out and I’m really pained while writing this. I’ve forgiven her but I’ve learnt not to ever trust anyone again. Note: This is a real life story that happened to me which hit me devastated. Thanks to you all for reading.!

Be The Best You Can Be. Hello family. Your favorite writer is here again. As we all know, I am Wizo. I’m a Nigerian and a Yoruba girl to be precise. So today, I’ll be writing an article on you being the best you can be. Let me start from here. I have five sub topics I’d love to talk about. They are: Who are you? Discover yourself Work on your talent Be the best that you can be Someone is looking at you. 1. **Who are you:** This is a very serious question that many of us skip when we’re walking towards our journey in life. We skip it maybe because we are not ready to face the real thing. What comes to your mind when someone asks who you are? To me, who are you means a lot of things. It means do you believe in yourself, are you perseverant, can you stay during bad times... Before embarking on a lifetime journey e.g career, you need to be ready for these questions because challenges will definitely come and you have to deal with them. You need to trash those challenges out. Challenges come often but how can you handle them. Who are you? Are you the type that will run away after one challenge?? You need to know who you are. It’s really important. Then let’s move to the next subtopic. 2. **Discover yourself**: Self discovery is key. Before embarking on a lifetime journey, you need to discover yourself. This is so important. Check on that thing you love to do. Check it. How can you check? You may place yourself on observation for some days and you’ll realize what you can do best. It’s really good to discover yourself. You all should try it. 3. **Work on your talent**: After discovering yourself, you need to work on that thing you know how to do best. Don’t be stingy, you may carry people along with you. Carrying people along with you on your journey helps you to learn from different people in the world. It helps you to be versatile. Work on it and you’ll become a better person. 4. **Be the best that you can be**: This part is very essential. You may have the best gift in life but it’s very necessary to be the best that you can be. Do not stop, keep grinding, be that best in you. We all have a best in us and I believe that we all can exceed that best in us if we do better. If you know how to sing and you’re using soprano voice pitch. If per adventure you are on four octave soprano naturally, you can bring out the best in you by making it seven octave. This part, one really needs to be serious with his or her life. It’s another part of discovery. You tend to realize that the talent still remains in you and you need to force it out. 5. **Someone is looking at you:** Believe me**,** whatever you do in this life, just know that someone is looking at you. Some people have been looking at how glorious you will be right from cradle. While you were in school, your teachers were looking at you. Here, I’m not talking about the mere looking at someone. I am talking about people that are watching you. There are many people who have said a lot of things in your absence and you don’t know. Many people have said good things about you but you may not know. I was surprised when someone told me to go into music fully because he has studied me and realized that there’s a gift in me. Some people will just walk into your life and help you and you begin to wonder how someone who doesn’t know you before helped you? This is because they have been watching you for days and you may seem to be the kind of person that they can invest in. Don’t stop, people are looking at you. I hope you all enjoyed my article. Who Is George Stinney? George Stinney is an African American old boy. He was wrongfully convicted at the age of fourteen for the murder of two young girls. These girls were named Betty June Binnicker who was eleven years old and Mary Emma Thames who was seven years old. This incident happened in George Stinney’s hometown known as Alcolu in North Carolina. When George Stinney was alive, he lived with parents in Alcolu, North Carolina. He is blessed with four siblings. George Stinney was not from a wealthy home and they were also black Americans. On March 23, 1944, the body of Betty June and Emma Thames were found inside a ditch since they didn’t return home since the previous night. These girls were found on the African American side of Alcolu in which Stinney’s father also helped them to search for the two girls. According to people, the girls were seen last riding their bicycle and looking for flowers. When these girls were found, they had been beaten with weapons like iron which was found close to them. George Stinney and his elder brother John were arrested as the prime suspect of the murder act. After some days, George Stinney’s elder brother John, was released and George Stinney was still detained. None of his family members were allowed to see him until the day of his trial. George Stinney also said that the officers in charge of his arrest starved him and gave him food so that he will confess. Before the death of the girls, George was always involved in fights in school including the one in which he scratched a girl with a knife. Due to George Stinney’s case, his father was sacked at the sawmill in which he works and his family had to vacate the company’s house. Since none of his family members were allowed to visit him, he had no support. He was detained in Columbia which was fifty miles away from where his parents live. Stinney was questioned alone and all was the confessions given by the officers who were in charge of his case was recorded. Stinney was detained for eighty one days without seeing his supporters. On the day of his trial, more than one thousand whites gained entrance to the courtroom. His trial was less than ten minutes and George Stinney was sentenced to death by electrocution. George Stinney’s family and churches appealed to Governor Johnston for his clemency due to the age of the young boy and others wanted the execution to start. Stinney was executed by 7:30pm on June 16 1944. He was placed on the electric chair and a Bible was used to boost the seat because Stinney was very small for the chair. Only his father was allowed to approach him so as to say his last words to his son. George was also asked to say his last work but he only shook his head. George was really crying and he gave up. George Stinney was buried in Crowley. In 2004, George Frierson who grew up in Alcolu investigated the case. Later, George Stinney was not found guilty of murder. It was stated that George cannot carry the iron used to kill those girls. This was later finalized after seventy years. The story of George Stinney remains one of the saddest stories in history. I’m crying right now because it’s so hurting. I hope George Stinney’s soul Rest In Peace. I’ll never forget the story. Now let me ask some questions: Why was he just accused without proper investigation? Why were his family members not allowed to see him when he was in detention? Why was he starved and given food which was used as a bribe to make him confess? Why was there no recorded voice notes of the confession?? This is pure wickedness. I’m sad. The Two Best Friends There are two best friends. One is Desdemona while the other is Sylvia. These two friends have known each other for eight years and they’ve also introduced themselves to their parents. They are very good children. Desdemona comes from a very wealthy home and she’s a very jealous person. She wants everything to be hers. She wants everything to be about her which is not possible. Her friend, Sylvia is a very nice person. She’s not jealous and she’s the type of girl that every parent would want to make her daughter. These two girls graduated from the university at the same time. But it’s so unfortunate that they were not allowed to live in the same hostel which is by the school rules. So Desdemona started to follow the biggest girls in campus. But since Sylvia is just like a sister to her, she advised her and told her the repercussions of following the baddest girls in campus. When they got to their second year in the University, their results came out and they both did well. Sylvia was shocked about Desdemona’s result because she doesn’t come to class so how come she has a very good result? She kept on wondering and she later forgot about it. This same thing continued to happen. Desdemona wouldn’t go to class and she’ll pass all her examinations. When they got to their third year in the university, Desdemona joined a group of cultist. She became one of the top girls in the university. She doesn’t even attend classes anymore and she parted ways with Sylvia. She became a very popular prostitute and even her parents can’t look into her face to give her word of advise anymore. As time went on, she became worse. She even began to smoke cigarettes and weed. One day, she and her gang went to a club which is very far away from their hostel. When they were going, they saw seven men in white garments. These men were performing rituals for the sake of the community. This is done so that the community will be peaceful and everyone will live happily. Then these girls were asked where they were going to and they were so rude to those men. These men touched the girls with a white cloth and they all lost their lives but Desdemona did not. They tried it again and she was still alive. Then, they took her to their shrine. They performed all sort of rituals so that she could be used as the sacrifice for the community but all their efforts were to no avail. Then, they asked who her mother was. She told them her mother’s name and after consulting the oracle, her mother is known to be a very prayerful woman. Desdemona was released and asked to go but she was very weak due to the stress she has been through. Desdemona didn’t go to her hostel. She went straight to her parents place and explained everything to them. Her parents were not happy with her but they were grateful that she’s still alive. Desdemona also apologized to her best friend Sylvia and they made good friends afterwards and also graduated with good grades. **Moral Lesson:** In whatever you do, always be prayerful. It’s also good to have a prayerful mother. Because, if Desdemona’s mother isn’t prayerful, she may lose her life too. I hope my story is interesting. The WizkidFC Party Hello everyone. My name is Bisolami Gbadamosi. This is my first article on this platform ever since i joined. I hope that you all enjoy it. Before I proceed, I’ll like to tell you other things about me. I’m 19years old and I’m a 400l student of the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. My hobbies are dancing and listening to music. It’a 2:15am here in Nigeria. Yesterday morning, my roommate told me about a party and I’m the kind of girl that loves to party hard. Then, we selected the clothes we would wear for the party. It was an overnight party. When it was night, we went for the party and saw a lot of our friends there. We were given a very delicious rice to eat and we enjoyed the rice. Later, the party started. The first game they played at the party was that, anyone that can drink a full cup of McDowells will have a sum of #15,000 then a girl came out to have the full cup and received her own #15,000. They took another cup again and did the same thing but this time, it was #20,000. Another lady took it and received her money. Before we knew it, the First Lady started to vomit and she was taken to a room where she could rest. The second lady collapsed and she was also taken to another room to have a rest. Then, the party continued. We danced and danced and danced again. At a time, I had to off my heels so I’d be able to dance well. When we got tired, we watched a bit of squid game. Many people got drunk but I didn’t because I don’t take alcohol. Even some guys fell asleep due to the rate of alcohol that they took. I noticed that whenever Wizkid’s song is played, plenty people will dance and be happy. Then I brought up the idea if playing just Wizkid’s song throughout the party and everyone was interested since we’re all fans of Wizkid. I’m a big fan of Wizkid too, and I danced to the fullest. I was really happy. There’s no Wizkid song they played that I didn’t know. Some people even wondered if I was his wife because the love I have for him is too much. They were surprised by how I was able to sing plenty of Wizkid’s song. It’s actually a birthday party we went for, but it later turned to a WizkidFC party. The meaning of WizkidFC means Wizkid fans. To be very honest, I enjoyed myself to the fullest and I can testify that the birthday party was really interesting. Thank you all for reading.
