Mental health is very important part of our life, it is a key aspect in our daily living that influence how we think, how we act and what we feel. Problems and negativity are all around us, and although mental health is very important, we can't deny that we care about it less, not until we feel some stress, anxiety and leads to a depression.

Mental health issues can affect different people in different ways. For example Person A can think problems as a spice of life, and normal; while, on the other hand, Person B can think that problem is dangerous, and hell on earth. We should remember not to judge!

Just this afternoon when I had another precious day with my church mate doing our monthly bible study. We came up to the topic of Mental health and there's some of us who shared their own story experiencing mental problem, and it is too dangerous and hard to overcome.

One of my friend suffer from anxiety for almost 3 years, and according to his doctor, it is his prayer and he, himself, can only cure this problem. No matter how many medicine he will take, as long as there's no guidance of our God, and no self-motivation, still it's useless. By God's grace he overcome anxiety, and for now he is doing his best not to get stress as far as he can.

One of our church mate also shared his life struggles being depressed. He don't have the courage to start a day, he always feel that he is a failure, he always wants to be alone and lonely, he wants to stay away from people no matter who and what they are, and always think that no one can understand him.

Through this sharing, it is somewhat a self-reflection, take time to pause and ask yourself; I am okay? It is so easily, to reply someone that you are okay, but how about deep inside, are you really okay? Does your mental health is really okay?


Being emotionally healthy can help you be more productive and effective in every things that you do. It helps you adjust to changes in your life and manage with hardship, which is vital for the quality of your relationships. Mental problem is one of the reasons why relationship not just for a couple but even in a family, ruin.

So how we can overcome mental problems?

Just like what I have stated above, that there are two major things that can help you to overcome this;

First, being connected to God. Humble yourself to the presence of our God. Sometimes, we gain problems because we are too proud of ourself, that we don't even take some time to ask guidance from Him. Let God be the center and head of every plans that you do, that if when it comes to the point that you fail, your hope and positivity still there, saying everything happens for a reason, that it's part of God's plan

Second, help yourself. If there is one person that can help you overcome Mental problems, then it's you. Be the number one motivator of yourself. Sometimes we keep on running for other's comfort that we don't realize we are loosing our value. So treat yourself good, first and foremost.

What other things you can do?

  • Take a rest

  • Meditate

  • Give yourself a reward

  • Make yourself happy

  • Avoid negative people

  • Watch funny videos

These are just simple reminders everyone, hope you are all doing well and don't forget to take care of mental health.

Our whole wealth is our own health. We should be careful about it. Yeah things you mentioned like we should avoid negative people, do exercise etc all are essential factor to maintain good health. For overcome depression and problem we should keep our whole life busy.

I also often think that people who get down quickly are people who can't stand the pressures and problems of life because fear and doubt are inherent in them. This is the importance of a person who has a strong mentality and courage that will make it last.

Mental health is really play a huge part of us talaga, kahut gaano ka pa kahealthy physically talagang pag mentally ang nagka problema mahirap labanan kaya as much as possible we need to prioritize it and also always connect to God, talk to him about our worries.

Trying to be connected witb God is the best option for everyone. God has selected everything that is going to happen with us. This one is good for those who are suffering mental health problems and very interesting too. I would always choose to avoid the negative minded people and taking rest also works for me.

You are right. Our mental health is very important. I also heard the story of a guy who to the world looks cheerful but deep down he wants to commit suicide. Not until his neighbour invited him to church and when having a one to one conversation with the Pastor, he told the Pastor he'd planned on committing suicide. He was led to Christ, given words of encouragement and even food, so at to make him feel welcome and loved

Exactly my dear, mental health is the most important thing in our life and in our social relations. And our peace and happiness are dependent on it. If our emotional be healthy, we can manage everything in hardships, and have a peaceful and happy mind. And in this way the presence of God is very effective.

Hmm, I have just already gone through this situation and your mentioned things are really useful. I remember when I was going through the anxiety and mental health problems I just devoted my whole life to God and after that, I feel relaxed and now I am perfect.
