Was it Fair or Unfair? It's been a while that us women fights for gender equality. Through the years I had seen a great improvement. Things was far different than before where women just stay at home as "housewife". Now women in my country already have VOICED and even succeed in some professions that was intended for males only before? So in what aspect for me I find it unfair? Was it fair or unfair? ***Gender equality.*** This has been an issue ever since not only here in my country but also in others. In such some " Feminist" fight for the rights of us women. It was a long journey and somehow I could say that things were far different from before. WOMEN now in my country already have VOICED and even excel in professions intended only for MEN before. It is no longer the traditional set up that women stay at home only, well I know some couples that it was the opposite now. *However there are still some aspects that I can say was unfair for women? In what aspect is that? Let me tell you.* I was about to go home earlier after I punched off in our DTR when my officemate approached . He said he wanted to go home with me. We are staying in one compound only. Most of the time I take a walk from our office going home and it was almost an hour of walking. Just to burn some calories. While we were walking we started to have conversations too. We were waiting for the green light in order to cross the pedestrian a motorcycle passed by. It was a normal sight, what is not is, the driver ***" winked " at me***. Not just a winked but a ***flirtatious winked***. He still has a decency to flirt considering his girlfriend or probably wife was on his back. Hugging him... AHHHH, men! Maybe he thought I was that pretty since I am wearing a mask plus I was in a mood earlier so I am wearing a dress. Looks so feminine, LOL! I was complaining to my officemate, let us call her Mark. He just laughed when he said it was normal for a guy. All of a sudden he asked me if it's okay with me if we will have something to eat first because he was hungry. I agreed as I am starving too. We settled to grab some burgers at Burger king, yet sad to say there are ***no FRIES!*** I don't know but it seems there is a shortage in our area. Oh, Mark is actually married, see that ring? While eating I was still complaining to him. Then he told me. **Mark:** *Lhes, it is really normal for men. Even if they are already in a relationship. If there is a chance still they would grab the opportunity.* **Me:** *Huh, really? What about you? Your wife and kids are in the province right? Boredom ended up winning in a Raffle. Is there anyone here who doesn't get bored? Is it possible to always feel happy or enjoy every moment? If there is and you belong , all I can say is " HOPE ALL"! LOL. You are indeed lucky then. Weekends are such a boring day for me. Usually I am just staying in our staff house and I have mentioned in my previous articles that from having 14 occupants ( including me), we are only three left since the pandemic. The house we are staying in was spacious. With five bedrooms, 3 toilets, living rooms, kitchen , laundry area and even a garage. The two companions I have are old maids so we don't have the same trips whatsoever we wanted in life. Most of the time, they are just staying in their rooms. Imagine how boring my life is? I wasn't able to publish yesterday as I got hooked reading at Wattpad and the moment I was done it was almost 10PM.. Haha, that's it. I got distracted, LOL. So what was the reason I wouldn't as I still don't have those? My answer? I am not used too, I don't have the confidence to parade my chubbiness!. Yes I wear shorts most of the time but two piece? Not only that every time we have a company event, her girlfriend ( also our officemate actually) was always the star of the night. She was always gorgeous and at the same time sexy. She slayed it! My other brother was also one of them too. I always saw his photos together with his girlfriend who is always wearing sexy outfits. Well she was indeed sexy after all. Though sometimes I felt uncomfortable. Even my mother one time complains to me when she saw on Facebook the photo of my brother's gf wearing a provocative swimsuit. You know my Mom is an OLD school. Yet we have nothing to do with it as the way today's generation dresses was far different compared to before. Fashion completely evolved! There are also men who are conservative. I am trying my best to stay awake but I really felt to0 sleepy. Demmmn, blamed these allergies. I don't have a choice but to take medicine as I could no longer stop from sneezing. My nose and head really hurts! I was thinking what triggers my allergies, as far as I could remember I just went to our server room earlier. Should I practice sleeping while sitting? lol!

Holiday ended like a blink of an eye, seems like it was only yesterday😂. I arrived at the office too early only to find out we could not open even the DTR as our server was still off. I bet all our branches can't too. Our IT went home in Bicol and he was trapped into a heavy traffic as he told me. What surprised me when he chatted me to open our server 😳😳. I am not into techinical, so I was hesitant and it's the main server😂😂. Yet the thought that he TRUSTED me that I can do so was enough! Glad all CPU have labelled and thanks to Video call, I made it😁😁

"Be careful with your choice of words." Days passed like a blur as a long vacation due to holy week is about to end. How's your vacation? I decided to visit my in -laws yesterday and at the same time check out our dream house. Well I am happy to say that it is almost done, maybe 80%. We will be needing only tiles for our terrace and comfort rooms then doors. Hubby and I were so excited. Hopefully this year we will finish our dream house and buy some furniture too. In God's will. I decided to travel last Friday though I didn't have work last Thursday due to the large number of passengers at the bus terminal. Added by terrible traffic? Naaaa, I don't want to stress myself out. Seems like the decision was right. When I arrived at the terminal it was the bus that was waiting for passengers, not the other way around. Also no traffic so I arrived home early. It was only 9 in the morning. After I checked our house I passed by into the house of my brother - in law and to have some courtesy, lol. I get inside to have some conversations with her wife. Only after a minutes my Mother in law also arrived. We were happily chatting when suddenly the wife of my Brother in law butt in. ***Her: Lhes, you are getting fatter, are you pregnant?*** I was stunned by what she said and I wasn't able to restrain myself. I cursed her. You might be wondering why? Yes I want to be pregnant, who doesn't want to? Yet how could it happen? My husband has been working abroad since 2020. She knows that. So what is she implying? ***AM I CHEATING?*** I don't know if she is in her right mind. My mother- in- law was also there and she just laughed. I also remember last year we had a conversation and I was annoyed ; ***Her:*** Lhes, do you have a suitor in your workplace? ***Me:*** Huh? No, I don't. ***Her:*** Liar, how could it happen you don't have? You are still young, you got fair skinned ( ***ang puti-puti mo***). ***Me to myself:*** So if I got a fair skinned was it enough reasons to have suitors? Besides, my office mates are not stup!d as they know I am married. Even I, why the h3ll would I entertain suitors? I don't actually know what runs into her head. I don't have a problem with my in-laws. They are good to me that is why I am still visiting and even staying there a couple of days even without the presence of my husband. Even "HER" was also good to me. It is just sometimes she is not thinking before she speaks. It doesn't make sense. It could trigger misunderstandings. When we got home into my Mother-in-laws house she tell me not to mind her. Even my brother's sisters told me that I am not that FAT to be mistaken as pregnant. So with that thought? I ate a lot during our " Family lunch". Haha. They cooked " Tinola ( native chicken) and Bulalo. How can I refuse these delicious meals? ***Be careful with your choice of words.*** That is what I wanted to tell her. Yet I chose not too as she might misinterpret it. She was a sensitive type of person actually, BUT she is not thinking right sometimes. lol! Isn't it unfair? Haha. Sensitive in the sense she got easily hurt when she hear a word she doesn't like yet she is not thinking before she speaks. Seriously, we should really be careful with our choice of words everytime. ***NOT*** only to our family, friends or even workmates. As we know how a single word can affect one's emotion when triggered. Good thing if what you say brings happiness but what if it's the opposite? You might offend anyone or could be worse. When this thing will happen? We don't know what's next. Could it be a misunderstanding? I woke up feeling my arms hurt. It took me a while before I realized maybe because of taking care of the kids the other day. My in-laws were so busy preparing food and since I am not good at cooking, I volunteered to take care of the kids. It was tiring and at the same time it's fun and hey. I have proven, I am still good at taking care of the kids.

Food is Life, My choice. ***FOOD IS LIFE!*** Right? We could not live without food as it is one of our basic necessities. If you asked me, oh I really loved food. I eat when I am stressed, mad, bored, happy and of course when I am hungry. I already told myself I need to go on a diet but still remain ***" DRAWING"***. Naaah, I always forget I am on a diet every time I see food. Especially when it's my favorite. What can I do? I am such a softy. Aside from that my husband is always telling me he doesn't mind if I am getting chubby. He even added what's the purpose of him working hard if I will just starve myself? LOL! and me being an ***" Uto - uto "*** ( simpleton/gullible) believed him. So at the end I forgot about the diet thing. hahaha, who can relate? **So what is my choice of food?** **PIZZA OR PASTA?** I am not into pizza, one slice is enough for me. I don't even remember I crave for it but pasta? I would say, can I have another plate please? What pasta? It could be carbonara, spaghetti etc or even pancit. Yeah, pancit, my all time favorite, specifically ***"BAM-E"***. It is a combination of sotanghon and canton. I always request this from my Father everytime I go home because I could say it is more delicious. Then with lot of a veggies but please don't add shrimp. I could say my Father is a great cook, even my brother and sister can. Even just a small slice. I still have that memory in my head which happened decades ago. As we all know, on every birthday there should be a cake especially for kids. Yet before we could not afford to buy one. So for the first time, my sister brought a cake for her son's birthday. After the traditional singing of a birthday song, she was so excited as she gave me a slice. I don't know but as a kid I didn't like the taste. You know the feeling that my sister was so excited yet I was on the verge of crying? Why? because I don't want to eat. If other kids are crying to have a slice I on the other hand was the opposite. Yeah I know you might find me weird. Ice cream? oh I can eat even until I will lost my voice due to too much cold. It is one of my comfort food every time I am not in mood. Even at work when I felt burned out I would go to the 7/11 inside the building and buy some cornetto. I will just stay for a while in our pantry, licking my ice cream while having the " tulala" mode or thinking of some thoughts. Oh there is a brand of ice cream I can guarantee that was indeed delicious but not that pricey. I love eating chocolates, especially dark ones. I love the blend of sweetness and bitterness in my tongue. In every food I would always choose the chocolate flavored. It is not available in the supermarket where I am buying my groceries since the pandemic. ***Vegetables or Fruits?*** I could say both! I grew up eating veggies literally. Sometimes It frustrates me as veggies here in the city was are little bit expensive yet NOT FRESH. So the taste was different sometimes. Fruits? Yeah It was also expensive! Though I prefer those that are juicy like watermelon, orange, melon , etc. Yet if these are not in season and oranges are expensive now I choose to have some bananas instead. Oh, I eat all kinds of fruits except apple and pineapple. I don't know but these two could upset my stomach. ***Spicy or Sweet?*** I have been used to eating spicy foods since I was a kid as my Father always added some chili in every dish he cooked. The only sweet foods I am eating are ice cream and chocolates. I used to have a sweet tooth before but it gradually changed. I felt my tongue hurt when I ate sweets. Or maybe just my thoughts. Haha. Am I Judgemental? I decided to go back to Manila earlier as for sure it is hard to travel tomorrow due to heavy traffic and large number of passengers. I was approaching the gate of our staff house when I saw an L300 parked near our gate. I don't know if I am just judgemental on the way the driver and the one sitting in the passenger seat looked at me . I immediately opened the gate and locked it. I was already in the living room when I heard someone calling " Tao po". When I went out, I saw it was the guy from L300. He asked if he could put a tarp on our gate. I said it's okay because I thought it's politician banner. Yet he told me it's a Pizza brand and in return I will be receiving free pizza per month. I just need to fill up a form. Did I take it? NO I did not, I am sorry but they look suspicious to me. I mean the vehicle they are using doesn't even have a sticker of a pizza brand he is saying. When I was already inside the gate I saw the vehicle leave. which made me think, why did they not offer it to some of my neighbors? They have gates too.

Hey! It the cup says " Emperador light " but its not Wake up with a cold temperature here in Batangas. Far different from weather in Manila. In which , I could not sleep without an electric fan and I am even sweating even with it. Here, OMG I was covered with a thick blanket all night even without a fan...This is why love to stay away from the city. I was supposed to go home yesterday in Batangas but upon seeing long lines at bus terminal plus trafffic? Hehe change my mind and decided to go home today. Seems my decision was right as see? It's the bus waiting for the passengers not the otherwise😁😀. Hoping there would be no traffic.
