"Discovered Hidden Talent During Pandemic."
Do you belong to those who felt so bored during the pandemic? Not only bored but almost fall into depression after staying at home for a long time? Others may say it was so demn hard to work in the middle of the outbreak and yes I can testify to that. Yet have you ever thought about those who were stuck at home? Especially those newly graduated before pandemic? How excited they are thinking they would finally explore the WORLD.
Are you one of them? Well sad to say my sister was one of them. She graduated last 2019 and passed the Board examination for teacher's (LET) in the same year. Then on March 15, 2020 the pandemic happened.
Good thing I introduced her to noise cash last year that somehow relieved her from boredom.
That's her username at noise cash. She is our youngest female sibling. Just the other day I was surprised upon knowing she is already 24years old as I thought she was only 22. Maybe it was because she is the youngest so in my mind it seems she didn't grow up.
I remember one time I read her post at noise cash and she was complaining as some of her friends were already pregnant. Yet she could not even leave the house without asking permission first. I actually laughed upon reading as it was indeed true. Sometimes I am actually worried about her when times come. I mean when she got married. If you are friends with her you might know that she has a G6PD. Sometimes we joke her that her future husband might just return her to us as she was indeed sickly.
Oh, enough about that, what I wanted to show actually was her discovered talent out of boredom. It was just an ordinary day when she saw the old dolls of our niece. They are even near on going bald. It wasn't expensive dolls, maybe the reason they easily lose their hairs, LOL.
So she took some yarn , our Mom's sewing kit. She cut the yarn just enough to be the doll's hair and manually attached it. Yes! She is just manually sewing. Here is the doll look like before.
See that bald head of the doll? I think no kid would be inspired to play with it. Yet thanks to my sister for being artistic. This is now how it looks like.
She even made that cute dress too. Indeed this doll was now pretty?
Aside from using yarn, she also tried using silk threads of unused clothes found in our house. Mind you she is doing it manually. I could say it is much better than using yarn.
She even manages to put some highlights on it.
Not that she is good at reviving those hairs as she really gives a total makeover. She could sew beautiful dresses that are currently in trend. It was fashionable.
She sometimes adds some accessories too. Our niece was so happy about it. She actually had a lot of dolls at home. Yet due to her excitement, she is always bugging her Aunt to make more. Which sometimes ended with my sister having her fingers hurt due to sewing a lot of dresses or doll's head.
These are just some photos as I don't want to flood this articles with pictures, lol!
What can you say about it?
How about you? Have you discovered something about yourself since the pandemic? Could be a talent? A passion or what is realization in life?
Did you know that based on the study many had actually left their jobs and pursued their passion instead? Maybe they had realized that life was indeed short so why not go for something that will make you happy?
I just forget where I had read about it but I am sure I did. Hehe, well reading is one of my hobby.

If you feel bored and want someone to talk with , you can contact me here. I would surely reply as long as it's not my office hours.
That's something new. That's a hobby we don't get to see all the time. Good for her! I can relate to treating our youngest like kids still. I keep forgetting our youngest is old enough to make his decisions yet sometimes I thought he is still in high school lol!
I didn't have anything new learned since I'm working from home all the time even before pandemic :D
