We live in a scientific world or so they say. Yet, we daily encounter a lot of supernatural events which science cannot explain or understand. I bring to you today the five most haunted schools in Malaysia.
Schools and educational facilities are places we send our children so they could learn to become responsible people while choosing a career path that best suits them. Unfortunately, there are a lot of schools around the world with a high degree of paranormal activities such as what I bring to you today!
1. Penang free School
built in 1816 this school is so old that it is the oldest school in Southeast Asia. Due to his age, there have been so many stories and even apparitions going on in this school.
One of the most common ghost stories of this school is a woman scream that can be heard throughout the school after midnight. Allegedly, who was tortured during World War II.
2.Chung Ling High School, Penang
Built in 1923 this school was used as a military hospital in 1941 by the British Army during World War II. A massacre took place in this building by the Japanese killing all the Malayan Chinese in Malaysia.
Most of the Chinese Malayan people who were killed in this massacre were mainly teachers and students. One of the common stories that goes on in this school is that dogs bark for absolutely no reason. This could be something that the dogs may see and something that we don't.
3. St. Michael Institution Ipoh
This school was built in 1912. It was used as a secret police headquarters by the Japanese. There are many tunnels that were built underneath the school to store food and to torture prisoners.
A man in a black robe known to be brother Paul who was one of the headmasters of this school would be seen in a black robe holding rosaries sitting in front of the door headless.
4. Sekolah Menengah Victoria Institution
Also used by the Japanese, British soldiers and even locals. Prisoners were being tortured in the basement of this building.
There have been reports in this school of many students being possessed. There have been so many possessions and even one story of a band member who was practicing till late night and later went missing.
5. SMK Cheras Perdana
This school was built in 1895 and is currently the most haunted school in whole of Malaysia. It was invaded by the Japanese during World War II and was used as a torture chamber.
Students living in the hostel have reported seeing headless soldiers walking along the corridor and even sightings of soldiers marching in the football field during midnight. Hysteria and possessions is a common thing in the school especially among girls and currently remains a yearly routine. SMK Cheras Perdana
