You Are My Happy Crush. Yes, You Are

What if someone told you out of the blue, "You are my happy crush?" Do you feel butterflies in your belly? Does your heartbeat spike a little?

We had a little emo session last night in Discord with my buddy @DennMarc . We are a bit emotional for quite some time now. Perhaps me just being hormonal and just being a girl, haha! It could be the stress that piled up on me, banking them in my brain.

We talk about being an option, the talking stage, etc. But what I want to share is the topic of happy crush.

I compare a happy crush to the Andromeda galaxy. I am really fascinated with this galaxy because this is the farthest thing our naked eye can see. The beauty in the sky is twinkly and dreamy. It feels like we are just a speck in the universe looking at her beauty. We can never ever touch her, hence we can just admire her from afar. Just her existence makes you happy.

It might hurt a little like an ice pick piercing your heart to see her with someone else, but at least she exists in your blessing and advantage.

Her laughs, her mind, her craziness, everything about her makes you fall in love with her not even trying. Just a simple hi would probably be the highlight of your day.

But, wait, do not lose hope. Did you know that Andromeda and the Milky Way have the chance to touch each other? There is a mutual gravity that pulls them closer. See? Even the galaxies can collide. You still have the chance to meet the person you admire from afar.

But you know, this collision might not be a good idea. This collision might cause you no good.

Scientists said that right now the movement for the collision is on the move. The Milky Way is bound to clash with Andromeda Galaxy. The prediction is in 4.5 billion years. It is such a long time but the fact is, they will collide in the future. The crashing will then messes up the entire solar system. So it is not a good idea at all to have a massive collision.

Now, are you okay with just seeing your crush from afar? Will you ever try to collide even if it will take billions of intrusive thoughts?

That feeling when you are okay with her existence. No expectations, just pure happiness, and peace in your heart. That feeling is when you are looking at her but then she catches you.

Someday, you will lose your Andromeda, and will never look at her ever again. Those bright specks will become dull, and eventually die.

Do not lose hope because there are still billions of stars in the universe. One day, an anonymous star will cross your path, shedding the darkest night in your heart. ❤️
