In that interview, he spoke in general about women, how they are superior, as well as becoming stronger than men both physically and mentally.

"I always thought that a woman possessed those delicate qualities of mind and soul that made her superior to men in this respect. I placed her on a lofty pedestal, figuratively speaking, and considered her to be considerably more important than men in some undoubtedly important qualities. I adored her. the feet of the creature I have raised to that height, and like any true worshiper, I feel unworthy of the object of that worship. "

However, he continued the story: "Now the unknown woman with the soft voice I adored has practically disappeared. In her place came a woman who thinks that her main success in life is to be as equal as possible with a man - in clothes, voice and actions, in sports. and achievements of every kind, "Tesla said.

Speaking about women becoming stronger than men, he added that the world has experienced many tragedies, but that in his opinion the greatest of all is the current economic situation in which women compete with men.

According to him, all the great achievements of men were inspired by love and commitment to women.

"The man was inspired for great things because some woman believed in him, because he wanted to deserve her admiration and respect. That's why he fought for her, and constantly risked his life over and over again."

He also said that a woman is a victim herself because there is no pleasure in her life. He thought that a woman was much more ambitious, often beyond her abilities. Tesla spent his working life in America, but he maintained strong ties with Serbian intellectuals. Laza Kostic was one of them. In the documentary about Kostic, it is mentioned briefly that one of his wishes was to marry him to Lenka Dundjerski, the most beautiful and richest girl of that time.

However, Tesla rejected Lenka with the answer that "a saint cannot burn at two ends" and that he "has long been married to science".

"Ja sam se odavno vencao sa naukom" govorio je Nikola Tesla. U jednom intervijuu za americki list objasnio je ovu recenicu i to zasto je odlucio da ostane nezenja. U tom intervijuu govorio je generalno o zenama, kako su one superirorne, kao i da postaju jace od muskaraca i fizicki i mentalno.

"Uvek sam mislio da zena poseduje one delikatne kvalitete uma i duse koji su je po tom pogledu ucinili superiornom u odnosu na muskarce. Stavljao sam je na uzviseni pijadestal, figurativno govoreci, i po nekim nesumnjivo vaznim svojstvima smatrao znatno visom od muskaraca. Obozavao sam stopala stvorenja koje sam uzdigao na tu visinu i kao svaki pravi obozavatelj, osecam se nedostojnim predmeta tog obozavanja."

Govoreci o tome da zene postaju jace od muskaraca, dodao je i da je svet iskusio mnoge tragedije, ali da je po njegovom misljenju najveca od svih sadasnje ekonomsko stanje u kome se zene nadmecu sa muskarcima.

Prema njegovim recima, sva velika dostignuca muskaraca bila su nadahnuta ljubavlju i posvecenosti zenama.

"Muskarac je bio nadahnut za velike stvari jer je neka zena verovala u njega, jer je zeleo da zasluzi njeno divljenje i postovanje. Zato se borio za nju, i stalno iznova rizikovao svoj zivot."

Govorio je i da je zena sama zrtva jer u njenom zivotu ne postoji zadovoljstvo. Smatrao je da je zena mnogo ambicioznija neretko i preko svojih sposobnosti. Tesla je svoj radni vek proveo u Americi, ali je odrzavao cvrste veze sa srpskim intelektualcima. Laza Kostic bio je jedan od njih. U dokumentarnom filmu o Kosticu, pominje se ukratko i da mu je jedna od zelja bila da ga ozeni Lenkom Dundjerski, najlepsom i najbogatijom devojkom tog vremena.

Ipak, Tesla je odbio Lenku uz odgovor da "sveca ne moze da gori na dva kraja" i da se on "Odavno vencao sa naukom".
