Have you experienced being hate by many people and you only have yourself in your side? You're only one versus two or more of them.

Hello read.cash family, how are you? I hope everyone is doing well and in good health right now. Our dear bch is still low and we are still hoping that it will pump up again very soon so it could give us a big smile in our lips.

A father who loves one more than the others

For today's article I would like to share about the story of Joseph. If you are a Christian and love reading stories from the Bible for sure you are familiar with this story. But if not, you can read it in Genesis chapter 37 verses one to eleven.

Joseph and his siblings were taking care of their flocks and Joseph is telling the bad actions of his brothers to their father. His father loves him the most compared to his other brother. It our term, Joseph is the favorite son of his father. In fact, his father make a special dress for him which is so different and colorful.

His brothers hated Joseph for this and they always speak to him rudely.

Joseph had two dreams that made his brothers hates him more. His first dream is that they were in the field binding some sheaves and his sheaves stood straight and upright while the sheaves of his brothers is bowing to his sheaves.

His brothers told him that he is thinking that he will rule over them and thought that they will bow to him.

His second dream was that the sun, moon and the eleven stars bowed down to him.

His father told him, what do you mean? Do you mean that I, your mother and eleven brothers will bow down to you?

His brothers became more angry with him while his father is thinking about his dreams.

Lessons from the story

No to favoritism

Favoritism can be found and felt everywhere. It can happen in school between teachers and students. It also happen in workplace between the boss and the employees and the most common place of favoritism is inside the home. Yes, we cannot deny the fact that favoritism do exist.

Might be you experienced favoritism, might be you are the most loved or you are the one who felt less love from your parents.

We are 6 siblings in the family but for myself I never seen my parents having a favorite son or daughter and I am happy about it.

Parents, let's love our children equally and let's not put some jealousy in their hearts and minds.

Favoritism takes away unity within the children and brings jealousy.

Learn to control emotions

If you are a child ( a son or daughter) that happens to feel jealousy over your other siblings, please control your emotions and don't let that emotions push you to do something bad and will lead to another problem within the family.

Learn to love each other

Son/daughter, love your parents unconditionally.

Parents, love your children equally.

Siblings, love one another endlessly.

Reading the stories of previous bible people, we can see the works of the Holy Spirit in them. As we can see, "He" has many characters and Joseph met many of it too. Tingin ko inuunti unti Nya yong mga tao noon ng mga mangyayari pa- when Christ came naconfirmed na even animals, stars, moon, sun nagbow sa Kanya, kagaya ng nga napaniginipan ni Joseph.

In Christ all is included as His creations.

Joseph was chosen by God to lead his family. Anyways, I have to agree with what you have said, favoritism won't help and will only kill a bond.

Favouritism in a family will tear the family apart if care is not taken. Joseph's Brother hated Him the more because of how biased the Father was. He should have loved them equally

I am glad I was not the favorite. Because of that I learned to be strong and not to depend on anybody. I am a mother myself and I show equal love to my children.

Joseph ( Hazrat Yousaf AS) is the prophet of Islam who is treated bad by his brothers from another mother because he was dear to his father. This is the most beautiful story of Islam that gives us lessons about patience and forgiveness.

Joseph was also mentioned in Koran? I am not sure if i spelled it correctly, sorry if i was wrong. But i am really amazed that my Muslim or Islam (I am not sure how to address right) friends was also know about Joseph and I am glad to know about it. Yes, Joseph story is also one of my favorite stories in the Bible. I am amazed how he forgave his brothers despite those bad things they have done to him.

Yes it's very important part of The Holy Quran. The story of the Joseph gave us lessons about forgiveness no matter how much we are being hurt by others. Forgiveness set us free from negative thought as revenge and leads us to positivity and success.

I remember the story vividly, it was their father that caused all that happened. He shouldn't have allowed the favouritism obvious to all of them if, at all he has, that was where his mistake comes from. As a parent, we shouldn't show any sign of favouritism at all among our children cos it can cause generational war among their children.

Thats right, we should treat our children equally.

It really happens sis in real life, in a family, workplace and any small group, even in school sis. but as people of God, we should learn that, only humans do this, but God is the one who really treat us fairly.

Discrimination between children will create a kind of jealousy and hatred between them, I know the story of Joseph and his brothers for sure, but a father should not have preference among his children, but should love them equally.
