Don't die in a meaningless death

"Don't die in a meaningless death."
That was the line of one of the character in the latest korean series now entitled "ALL OF US ARE DEAD."
Who among you here are hooked now with this series?
Well, when my partner saw it's trailer he told me that the series maybe a good series to watch because he felt it's like in the "Train to Busan" korean movie before. So, since I like watching suspense and this kind of survival movies or series and when I knew that there's someone who already downloaded the series. I then searched it on facebook and found out links available until episode 12, so I downloaded all the episodes through a facebook downloader.
I started watching it yesterday and I finished all the episodes today.
After watching it, of course it left me some reflections,and lessons or realizations about life. Because what I like on korean series like this, survival series is that, it's not all about the actions, the theme, the plot, the characters but also it portrays a lot of lessons that can be reflected in real life situations.
The series was all about survival. Students who tried their best to survived from getting bitten by the infectious human whom called the zombies. A series that shows the characters survival skills and their strategies on how they can escape and find a way to to get out from their school that was already full of zombies.
So, as I've said lessons can definitely be gained after watching the series and these are what I learned and reflect it on real life situation.
striving hard to survive
In the movie, characters especially the main characters really tried to survive and get out from their school safe and sound. Strategies were being seen and how they handle the situation in order for them to be safe. Some were pushing others towards the zombies for them to survive just like the character named Gwi Nam an antagonist in the series,who a bully student who always pushes others towards the zombies for him to escape but then again end up getting bitten by the zombie.
In real life scenario, we who aimed to have a better future, aimed to reach all our goals. Of course we are also striving hard to be on the top reaching tour goals. But along with that, there were lots of struggles, hindrances, problems that we can encounter and we tried our best to surpassed all of that hindrances, problems, struggles for us to attained the goals that we wanted to attain. That's a kind of survival from ourselves if we can able to defeat such problems that may hinder us in reaching what we wanted.
But, in real life as well there are also those people who are trying to bring down others for them to become the superior just like what Gwi Nam did in the series. His character portrays those people that are selfish and just always downgrading others for them to be on top and not minding the mess they could give to those people that they brought down. People that are greedy on things that they wanted to achieved but achieving it by pulling down others. But the question is, are these kind of people happy in the end? Well, I don't think so because they always had this grudges in their heart and selfishness and for sure they don't have the peace of mind.
That is why, to become a survivor or to be able to reach each dreams successfully and without any guilts in each heart. Then, we should not be selfish and never pulled down others for to be on top instead helping each other makes our goals be easy to achieved.
Another lesson learned is that...

This is really my favorite line throws by Nam Ra one of the main character of the series. She said it to her accompany who losses the brother and tried to face the zombies for revenge for what happen to her brother. Nam Ra told her firmly, "Don't die in a meaningless death."
Reflecting such line of Nam Ra in real-life. It's same as dying without doing anything to have at least a better life. Like the quote, "To be born poor is not your fault but to die poor it is already your fault."
I don't know if that's really the exact quote but that was what it means on the said quote.
It's like, if we die without trying our best to reach our goals in life or dreams in life even by just trying on attaining it and by being a good example to all and not the destruction on the contrary side then our life were just being useless or meaningless. If we are just like those who always had the bad acts and always did such bad acts or worst the heinous acts the entire life and not being the good citizen as good example fo all then we definitely lived am. meaningless life and will surely died in a meaningless death.
Therefore, while we are still here breathing in this challenging world, then we should not waste our time on things that are meaningless. Instead, we should focus on how we can able to deal all the challenges brought by this world without stepping on others for us to have the chance to reach the life that we wanted to be in the future. Then, of course be one of the good example or citizen that radiates positivity to all. Then, for sure if we are already leaving the world at least we are satisfied and fulfilled and our death will not be meaningless.
Those two lessons are what I most reflected on and realized after watching on the said series. It was really a good korean series because it showcase not only the amazing cinematography, the sound effects and the awesome acts of the characters but it also showcase the social issues like bullying. Actually, there were lots of lessons that you may learn from it aside from what I highlighted if you watched the series.
Also, for sure prepare your emotions while watching it because I knew you will feel disappointed, angry with some characters, annoyed and etc. Haha
It's highly recommended series. To those who loved watching survival movies or series then this series will surely suited for you.
