Teaching is a very delicate job that needs a lot of patience and knowledge. On the other hand, there are a lot of teachers that apply their passion in giving the right knowledge to their students and have built themselves a brand because of the job they do. Good teachers are the one that helps you become who you are and ends up being an integral part of your life. Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to have a good teacher
Teaching can be one of the most difficult jobs to do well. There's always another way of teaching your kids the same thing. You have to make sure you keep them engaged and learning.
When asked what makes a good teacher, my friend- Bolatito says that “Being a good teacher it’s not just being wise, it’s not just about teaching the basics and leaving no stone unturned. It’s about being passionate about your students’ success and understanding where they are coming from. It’s about making them believe in themselves and their abilities, their dreams for the future. This is something I truly believe in as a teacher in training. Nothing can happen until you believe you can make it. Teaching is not just about passing on information, it’s about inspiring to learn more and believing that you can make it happen no matter what life throws at you”.
There is no more noble calling than educating and guiding children to become a future generation of leaders. Do you know that less than 15% of the global population have access to a good education? The existing education system often fails to recognize the importance of teacher engagement and motivation. This failure is largely due to the structural and systemic inequalities in so many countries. In Nigeria, for example, teachers are striking for fairer wages and better work conditions.
Teachers are the pillars of our society, they impact lives and as a whole, they should be appreciated to a greater extent. We need to appreciate them for the job they do. Touches the heart so much when I see children running from schools towards their teachers even without them calling them. This is the impact of a good teacher. We don’t need to keep giving expensive gifts or money to show appreciation, what we need is just to put that smile on their faces through kind words and appreciation in their presence. Show them you appreciate them.
Teachers shape the future of our society. They motivate, inspire and show us an alternative path to be the best versions of ourselves. In our schools, we learn the rudiments of knowledge and in a way, we get shaped as humans. As adults in society, it's so painful to see the teachers not being appreciated as much as they should. The impact of teachers in our society cannot be overemphasized. It's not just knowledge that they impart in our minds but values that shape us as human beings.
Today, I would like to address the teachers directly that are going through such a hard time now. Easy to think "why bother" when you get no appreciation and couldn't even get a decent pay raise. We live in a government that treats you like servants. Although teaching is not considered as a job, those who choose to do it are indirectly doing it for the future generation of our country.
I say teachers carry the weight of our future generation and they should be given all the respect they deserve It's funny how we are always so proud when we talk about our outstanding education system, how we are top of most tables. But the actual people behind all these achievements are not being given the attention they deserve. Teachers, you need to hear from us that you need to be appreciated, you may not spend money on luxury items, but your job is more than just a job.

My sincere apology for not mentioning the Teachers yesterday and some other professions. All jobs are important and needed to make the society a better place. I meant no disrespect to any field with yesterday's article.
I was once a student teacher before and I experienced how difficult their job is, aside from the paper works, the patience that they have for the students.
