Religion Tolerance and Extremists

Religion is a meaning of life. But in this day and age, it has become a creator of chaos, confusion and misunderstanding among people. All the main religions are meant to help people attain peace, love and above all: comfort. But for many reasons, it is not so. Religion has become a tool in the hands of people with evil intentions.

It’s like every week a new topic arises on social media across the country. People talk about it for a week or two and then move on to the next. I can’t predict the future but one thing I can predict is that by next week something new will happen in the country and people will start talking about it forgetting what happened this week. Religion Extremist is the current ragging topic…

Religion is meant to lead people in the right way, shed light in the darkness to people and help in creating a better society but it isn't so for many. Some extremists go to any length to fight with people who don't believe in their God or religion. They also go to any extent to prove that they are right and others are wrong. This is what is going on today in Some Asian countries and other African countries where religious leaders and their followers are at war with one another. They are so barbaric that they don't even think of human beings who are dying because of their war, they only care about their God, beliefs and religion.

I have seen videos about the so-called Holy War that's going on. I have seen hiw a man claiming to be the servant of the great Prophet or God take advantage of ignorant people who have no education or knowledge of what history has taught mankind to create a better society. Maybe the reason for their pride is because of some historical event which took place long ago but today there is no reason for any human being to be proud of any evil act he or she has done or will do in the future.

The world must stand up together and make sure that these so-called Religion leaders don't kill more people and destroy more countries.

While many religious fanatics use religion for personal gains and to take away the rights of other people and use it to hurt others, others follow the true teaching of their religion. While it's not wrong to share your own God or religion with others, one should not use the teachings of their God or religion to harm or hurt others. They should behave like a true follower of God or religion. Because there’s one bad apple in a basket does not make the other apples bad. The best thing is to fish out the bad apple on time so it won’t corrupt the good ones.

Diversity is necessary in any society, country or community for everyone to learn from each other. If everyone follows the ways of one person or group of people we can't improve as a whole. It's important to have people around you different from you to help you become better as a whole. It's not right to force your views on someone else.

One way I have found that can really bring people together is through reading and writing. Books are a great source of knowledge, they help you learn new things from cultures different from yours which helps you understand them and see how they think and why they do things differently from you. It also helps in your own culture. It helps to tolerate others too.

Anyways I am not saying that everyone should read only books about religion (even though there are many interesting ones) but books made about different cultures can be interesting too. I am against any form of extremism, fight it the right way if you want an extreme change in our world.

Put down your weapons and start using your might brain!
