I drafted this article over 13 hours ago, but the meet up we had and my Journey back home didn't give me time to check readcash all day. I will publish this now and the next article will be all about the meet up.
Help. Not because you stand to gain by it, or simply because you know how to achieve a certain task. Help. Because you have the strength, the time, and if need be, the resources to help.
You can help even those that you are not close to or not your neighbour or not from your state or country. You can help them even if you're a stranger because helping is one of the greatest things you can do and you don't need to know them for that. You don't even have to know them for years, you can start helping them from today. Even if you don't have a lot of money you can help a lot of people in need.
Helping others shouldn't be just about how much one stands to gain. It should be about the joy of helping others. There are various organizations you can donate to; Save the Children, World Wildlife Fund, American Red Cross, UNICEF, and the victims of hurricanes and other natural disasters. Simple things like giving food or placing a trash can liners and helping those who may need some assistance.
Don't know if you have noticed but many have been stepping on the fallen tree trunk that is Nigeria. So many people have their hands out for help and yet ao many people are not willing to help without one eye on anything in return.
To all the people who think, it's not the season to show your support and appreciation to someone you love and to be thankful for what they have done to you, but I believe, whether it is Christmas or any other special day, the best way to remember them is by showing you care. So show them how much you care for them. Giving out gifts does not only inspire but motivates, heals and changes someone’s life by giving them a reason to smile. If there’s someone in your family that you want to give a gift to or appreciate their effort, compassion and love, this period is a perfect time.
As you give to people, you are actually enriching your own soul and experience. The spirit multiplies what you give, like the sun that warms on both sides of the hill. Feed the hungry and then your love for others will be increased, for is it not true that love comes from loving?. We all have to give something back to the world, something useful to others. That’s why we have to have love for our neighbours. When we give away free products, it is not just about making money. It is about helping people achieve their dream. It is always easy to make money but hard to give away something with a good heart. This is our challenge. We need to create an environment that empowers creatives and helps everyone not minding where they come from.
In conclusion
Some of my biggest life lessons happen outside the walls of educational facilities. What I can say is that I have learned more from my failures than my successes. Everything around you, there is much to learn. The generosity of giving feels amazing. The joy from seeing a smile on someone’s face or their head nod when you present the little help you gave them turns priceless. By doing something to enrich someone’s life, you enrich your own life. With that said, giving opens a door for incredible experiences and with it, wisdom. You can decide to give because you were taught to do so or for whatever reason you want to, but one thing is certain; giving gives more. It starts from within and spreads its wings outwards. You see the world differently, with a stain-glass like view of your own reality that grew through experience, time and observation.
