friends virtually

Hello Lovely Readers!
Most of the time today I was in Chad's P3 Racing Guild in Discord and having fun chatting with Senpai(@GKeep18 in noise and here in Read) and @ClarissaKG. At first, I didn't know that the two are from here too since Senpai is using a different name and I just met Clarissa in Discord and now following her too in noise and here.
The world is really getting smaller now because of technology, people are meeting each other online unlike before that we still have to go places to meet people from other places but now you just have to go in a chat room (if that is what they call it) and you'll find people from all over the world. Just like here on this platform. I met Tengolotodo that is from Scotland, Coquicoin and Gertu13 from Venezuela, Emily2u from Kuala Lumpur, ClarissaKG from Albania, Theblackdoll, Lucifer, Kristoferquincy, itsfarah, and a lot more are also from different countries.
And of course, I'll not forget the Pinoy's that are also from Visayas and Mindanao and those people from the North. Meeting new people and being friends with them become so easy now, you just have to talk to each other and over time without you knowing it you've already considered them as one of your good friends even if you just met online or even if you haven't seen each other personally.
The world really changed a lot over time and it's for the good of course. Who would have thought that one would meet a lot of new friends during this time of pandemic when people are not allowed to go out much more to travel. Though I remember before you can also meet people from another country through writing. I remember during elementary days that there's this part of English class that we are going to write to those kids from USA too and we call it pen pal. My pen pal back then was named Denisse and she's from Maryland we wrote to each other through snail mail that after a couple of years we stopped writing because we became busy with school. And sometimes it took months before you can receive a letter.
Unlike nowadays, the only requirement for you to meet new people is that you need to have your own mobile plus as internet connection. And you'll meet all kinds of people around the world. You can even have a virtual tour and see places all over the world in just one click. Isn't technology amazing? Letting you see places without spending much unlike traveling?
I just wish that all the people we meet online are the good ones. I know there are a lot of con people now that will do everything just to get close to you just to get money from you. That is why you also have to be careful and vigilant before trusting anyone too much. Remember the only difference of having friends online and having friends for real is that sometimes those friends that you met online are more true than the ones that you're seeing.
And I want to thank you all for being a friend even if it is just friendship virtually. Stay nice and stay cool for I know we can help also be there for each other if it is needed

Yeah I even though I haven't made lot of friends online now but I hope that they are good and not just pretending to be good as stake as for their image because I managed to be friend at some of my classmates but I never really met them once I am not even sure what they look like but I treat them like my true friends.
