Is spamming a serious matter or not?

Yeah, agree with you. I know he is doing his best just that it is hard to control, so we should help a little by marking those spammed comments to spam. This place will go trash if this will continue.

Well it would be better. Actual stuff to read and actual discussions on views. Would be more serious of a platform, I'm sure but at least it would be headed in the right directions and maybe eventually it could get advertising if only good articles persisted. Ir it could allow microtask searches a place to hire writers too. But this is honestly wistful thinking now

Yes, that's the goal of read cash to have some ads soon not just relying on fund donations only if the credibility of the site is intact and can be trusted but with the situation right now it's hard to materialize that, due to spamming this can stain the site image.

I noticed that a lot are on a moral dilemma with that spam button though. The fact that they (1) don't want to be the cause of someone getting blocked and potentially suffering because this site really helps a lot, specially now that there's still a pandemic but (2) they also want to help read.cash potentially improve

Well, as for that we/users have to think for the common good not just for some certain person, I am 2 months old here in that two months pandemic has begun until now but there are fewer spammers compare recently, haven't you noticed? spammers crazily increased in numbers when the funds got doubled, they just want to suck and drain the fund immediately.

Yeah, two months ago, you'll mostly see those spammers on newbie posts. (I check those more than i check the new articles from older users because they deserve encouragement. ) but now they're everywhere. And it seems like they never tried to understand the fine print of earning points here so that they assume every comment counts

Yes, what's more, annoying is that they don't listen even if you help and guide them so better spam them. If they want to learn, they must listen and follow the rules of this site.

The backlash of this spam button though is that they can do the very same idea to you that it just comes off as petty 😂 goodness this is why the place gets so toxic

Hahaha that's why I don't reply to them anymore, I just visit their profile to see how they work if seeing they work more on copying then I went back to my notifs and spammed them without reply so they cant do the same to me 😆😆😆😆 I think wake upkitty experience this, and got many downvotes because of lecturing spammers the hard way, but was settled already. We can email read cash about it, read cash knows who are doing good in this platform he has data reference, from that power users.

Still curious about who those power users are, actually but half the time i find the need to give off warnings first. If that doesn't work the next time i see them then i will mark as spam but it's rare for them to comment again after having received a lecture from me

Nobody knows who are the power users, maybe it's you or me. Only read cash knows so this cant be used to abuse its power to improper ways. Power users are those who follow all guidelines here. Well they don't reply to your comments because they don't care and avoid interaction.

Yeah. I remember viewing a popular article here and I was surprised to find out that the majority of the comments are "subscribe me" and just plain "nice article". Only a few comments are really related to the topic of the said article.

All popular articles here are about BCH it has thousands of views and yet spammers do not respect them and flooding spam comments, 2 months ago the site is doing well, a lot of changes happens but fewer spam comments unlike now they are everywhere making spam comments not related yo to the topics.
