Diabetes, the leading concern of recent era.Visibly, it causes many harm but still, people aren't aware of it.
Diabetes means when your blood contains more sugar then normal range.Normally, our body secrets insulin to neutralize our blood glucose at a normal level.But when our body fails to secret insulin or insulin itself fails to neutralize glucose, blood glucose level rises high.In medical science, this condition is named as Diabetes mellitus.
Family history of DM, sedentary life style,lack of physical activity,consuming junk foods on regular basis,smoking these are some causes of diabetes.
But why i am writing these so suddenly? Recently i have got a neglected case of uncontrolled DM where patient came to me with infection on his great toe.Organisms love to eat sugar like you and me.When your blood contains more sugar that means you are welcoming organisms.And if you are not maintaining your lifestyle, not taking proper drugs on time, something bad is waiting for you,like this patient i have met.When i started to debride his dead tissues i felt thats not in my hand.I had to call the senior surgeon, and when senior surgeon gave a visit he commented on patient that he needs amputation of his great toe.
Patient was admitted to hospital,exogenous insulin was injected and amputation was done.Patient got fever of 105 degree farenhyte due to infection.
I have seen many worst outcome of diabetes then this.I feel to share it to make you concern.Always remember '3D' to follow in diabetes "Diet,Drug,Discipline".

During lockdown I discovered a new type of art,Mandala art through my friends.They were practicing it,sharing in social medias.

Can a still image tell a story?
We take pictures on our special days to keep them as a memory.Many years pass and we revive those moments by seeing them.There are some incidents,some fun or grief or emotions lie behind every pictures. I like to share such a picture which also have a story to tell.What is it? Let's find out.
This picrure I took on 7th May, 2020 from roof of my building.A picture of empty roads,look like a abandoned ghost city.Here,in Bangladesh lockdown started from 16th March and it was still going on.We used to see daily updates of corona affected person and death toll.Everything was shut down.Sometimes we heard the siren of ambulances and noise of helicopters breaking the silence and are carrying critical patients to Dhaka(our capital city) for better treatment.
Everyone was fighing their own battles.The Frontliners who risk their lives to save others, the labourers who lost their jobs,the family members constantly praying for beloved ones who are fighting to death.
While taking this picture one thing i realised that,no matter how much human advance in technologies, they are always helpless to **Nature.**No one can rule over nature.
Here is my home city again with full of life.Lockdown had withdrawn here at June 30 and it is now maintained in some selected redzone areas.I took this picture two days ago.Though covid cases still at its peak but what to do,people have to run for their lives.

Before starting my article i like to request my dear readers first to express gratitude to God if you are still able to take breath by your own.We may live in different corners of earth but this year a virus united us in many ways..It has changed our lives in a greater extent.Yes,i am talking about **COVID-19**,the deadliest ,highly transmissible respiratory pathogen which have the ability to stop your breathing. Let's take a look in these radiographs.
This is a normal chest xray . The marked areas are lungs.Lungs are respiratory organ which help us in air exchange eg. O2 from air and Co2 from body.
On radiograph air represent as black shadow as seen in above picture.
Here is a radiograph of a covid 19 patient.Just look at the lung fields.It becomes **opaque** which represents that there is **no air** .On chest x-ray lung fields appear as opaque when there is fluid .When there is fluid in lungs instead of air it represents pneumonia.Covid 19 patients rapidly growing pneumonia which involve their both lung within short time period.It results in **acute** **respiratory distress** and patient need immediate mechanical ventilation on ICU.
Covid patients die because their lungs can't maintain a normal oxygen saturation.Normal oxygen saturation is about 98-99%.There are many other complications arise from covid 19 infection, not only pneumonia.Other causes of death also seen from Corona infection eg stroke ,Multi organ failure etc.
Complications occur in 3% of affected population.Well, that's not a matter of relief as it is not predictable who will develop complications.But mostly the co-morbid population affected more.
I am not scaring anyone just a reminder if you are following the health rules.

Medusa and Cirrohsis of Liver

**Medusa,**the unfortunate character of Greek mythology.She was the most beautiful girl with perfect skin and hair.Everyone in Greece was fascinated by her beauty.Medusa wanted to become a priestess of temple dedicated for Athena,the goddess of knowledge.Virginity and chastity were major requirements for being Athena's priestess ,which she was.
Athena had conflict with Poseidon,the god of seas.He had a evil intention to tarnish Goddess's reputation.He raped Medusa after being rejected by her Infront of Athena's statue and then left.After that,Athena enragedly appeared before her and cursed her.Medusa's beautiful hair replaced by venomous snakes and she became a monster by Athena's curse.
So,what is happen in Liver cirrhosis?
In Liver cirrhosis , progressive hepatic fibrosis occur and there is formation of nodules.
As liver get hardened,there is an increase in pressure on draining vein of liver (portal vein) results in **Portal hypertension.**
Portal vein cannot drain in cirrohsed liver so blood backflows to peripheral veins.Blood backflows to periumbilical veins and there is dilatation of these veins.
It resembles like the head of Medusa so medically it is termed as **'Caput Medusae'**.
There are many other complications caused by Portal Hypertension. These are splenomegaly,esophageal varices, haemorrhoids.
Cirrohsis of liver is an irreversible condition.The common causes of Cirrohsis are:
1.Chronic viral hepatitis (hepatitis B and C)
2.Alcoholic liver disease
3.Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
4.Heamochromatosis
In most cases,Hepatitis B virus is responsible for this condition.But don't worry,vaccines against this virus is available.If you're not vaccinated against hepatitis B virus, hurry,go and get your vaccines.

A beginner friendly article about BCH..
If you're new in cryptocurrency world,this article might help you .I tried to answer the questions which came up in my mind when I first came here.
Before 20th july of 2020, i didn't aware of the existence of cryptocurrency world.A little backdated nah?😅 Whatever,I discover these whole new world on that day by the help of my friend @Arnavaria .She introduced me with these platform read.cash.And through read.cash i entered to this world.
As i say,i had a zero knowledge about cryptocurrency and BCH but i am a learner.I have watched videos,i have read articles. Though many terms seem to be difficult for me, i am still working on it and i 'll not lose hope until i get it completely. Today i gathered some courage to write about ABC of Bitcoincash as @Arnavaria declared a writing contest about **BCH in a simpler way.** Let's see if I could fulfill her expectations or not.
BCH or Bitcoin cash is a cryptocurrency.So first thing should be explained first.
What is Cryptocurrency?
It has a longer definition but on short term it means 'Virtual Cash'.It has no physical existence.You can't print them like 'US dollars' or 'Bangladeshi taka'.First decentralized cryptocurrency is Bitcoin.
Here , comes another question.
What is Decentralization?
It means not being under control of any central authority like bank or Government.It is maintained by Blockchain technology.
What is Blockchain technology?
As the name says, Blockchain is chain of blocks contain data e.g. transaction data.It acts like distributed ledger ,it is transparent,any one can see it.That's why not a single person or group can make a change in it.Blocks are interconnected with each other in such way no one can do tamper with it.It's a very secure technology.
How BCH created?
When bitcoin transaction added to a block it needs storage space. Maximum capacity for each block of transaction is 1 Mb.It's not possible to hold many transactions per second due to shortage of space.And a new block is created in every 10 minutes.So,when a lot of people sending BTC it needs more time to enter a block and to get confirmed. If anyone willing to cut the line he have to pay higher transaction fees.
Due to these problems(long confirmation,high transaction fees),on August 1st,2017 an alternate version of Bitcoin is created which is **BCH .BCH** is supported by Roger Ver and Bitmain.It has larger block size of 8 Mb which make it different from original BTC.
What are the advantages of BCH?
BCH transaction fees are low and require shorter time for transaction.Many transactions can be listed per second.Because of these properties it can be used in day to day activity. And like other cryptos you can carry it anywhere and can use it where it is accepted by using your BCH wallet.
**BCH in future**:Users play a vital role here.More people adopt BCH, more brighter will be it's future.Til now BCH is holding its own space with other cryptocurrencies.I am hopeful it will stand strong in future.

Eid mubarak all.Hope you all are doing well.I am here today to share a recipe with you.Basically i can't cook.I tried so many times but than it's turn out to something horrible always,don't know why.So I'm not allowed to cook anywhere whether is it in my home or hostel and may be my in law's house too in future😓.But I am a good assistant.I can do chopping well.Also I help by giving small tips to my proficient friends and mom(credit goes to Youtube) on how they can make their dishes more alluring and perfect.
Today is eid and i am helping my mom on kitchen to make **chicken fry**. Okay, no more talk..Let's get started.
What you need:
Chicken: 1 kg (tips: Don't take boneless chickens for fry..keep them aside for other chicken dishes like chili chicken)
Garlic paste : 2 tablespoon
Ginger paste:2 tablespoon
Chili powder:2.5 table spoon
Black pepper powder: 1 tea spoon(look again,its **teaspoon!**)
Hot spices (Garam masala powder): 1 tea spoon
Chaat masala:1 table spoon(optional)
Lemon juice: 2 table spoon
Corn flour:3 table spoon
Yellow pea flour(Besan)🙄 : 3 table spoon
Salt:As per taste
2 or 3 pinch of sugar.
Put chicken and all the ingredients in a bowl.
Then all the ingredients have to be mixed well.
Keep them aside in a cooler place for 4-5 hours
After 4-5 hours of marination, chicken must be deep fried in oil..Remember,oil must be well heated before you put chicken on it.
