Complete Sleep Is A Must: 7-8Hrs

Recently I've been lacking enough sleep, I should sleep 7-8 hours but you know due to this “crypto addiction” I cannot sleep early, I slept 12midnight or more, and not just that if I watch series movies I cannot help it, I watch until morning. I am depriving myself to sleep which is bad. But I am trying my best to cope up with sleep now, that is why I don't do the same things in crypto as before.

Just yesterday I am feeling ill, my body wants to rest. I took a nap for two hours when my daughter was asleep too but as I woke up my head hurts badly, maybe my brain badly wants to rest more.

I am also feeling sore with my abdomen, my CS scar as I lift some buckets when I did our laundry as we have problems with water pressure in our area. The pressure cannot fill the washing machine tank immediately, so I need to fill it manually using a bucket and as CS lifting heavy things and using too much force can affect our scar. It's a pain on the a$$ being CS, your actions are limited, I don't like it as I am a rush person when I do things.

Why sleeping 7-8hrs is a must?

As I was saying I was ill yesterday, but I endure and I don't take any medicine. I just sleep as early as possible and today, when I woke up I felt a little better, although my cs scar is still aching, well it will be fine later on. Back to the main topic, sleeping early can give a lot of benefits to us.

What are those benefits?...

To avoid getting sick often

Sleeping late can lead to some illnesses because our body cells need to regenerate as well. If we cannot get enough sleep our body organs cannot function well, cells regeneration time is 10 PM-3 AM only no matter how long you sleep outside that bracket your cells will not regenerate anymore.

I am fully aware of these things but I am hard-headed and still sleeping late, but if I felt terrible I just sleep early and after completing 8hrs sleep, I'll be fine after that.

Stay at a healthy weight

Having enough sleep can help you achieve the right weight, some said staying late can make people fatter. But I think it still depends on your diet and exercise.

People who sleep well are more healthy and their weight is healthier than those people who are always deprived of sleep.

Can help lower the risk of some serious problems like heart disease and diabetes

Sleeping early and completing at least 7-8hrs sleep can help us with serious illnesses like diabetes and heart disease.

If we have enough sleep our body organs can rest as well and when they are not overworked they can function well and avoid the risk of serious problems.

It can improve our mood and reduces stress

Just observe a grumpy person, it's because tare always lacking lack sleep. They are easily irritated over small things, they always have mood swings or hot-tempered as they are lacking enough rest.

Sleeping early and at least 7-8 hrs can also help us reduce our stress, as long as we have enough sleep our thinking is also healthy and we can handle our stress lightly.

I was like this when I lack sleep, I am always grumpy and get irritated easily.

A healthy way of thinking and do good at school or work

If we have enough rest our thinking as I said is way better than those grumpy people who lack sleep. Our brain can function well, we can absorb things easily if we are studying or we are doing good with our job as we perform our task well because we can think clearly of what we do.

People who lack sleep cannot think clearly of solutions if ever they encounter pressure or problems because their thinking is in mess.

Can get along better with people

When we have enough rest we have the right mood and right thinking, we can respond to other people in the right manner which we can get along with others easily or better. People who are grumpy are bad at communication, as they are irritated for some invalid reasons.

Can make good decisions and avoid an accident

People who usually got into vehicular accidents are mostly those who got Influence by alcohol or because they were too sleepy, that they cannot drive carefully.

When people have enough sleep they can avoid serious accidents as they are more focused on what they do.

We can also make good decisions when we are in our right state of mind and we can only attain that when we have enough rest and we are not into stress.

Closing Thoughts

This why complete sleep or rest is a must, our body organs need rest too. They cannot function well and our immune system gets weaker when we don't have enough rest as our body organs cannot work well, when they cannot work well they cannot fight back to harmful viruses, bacterial infection, and anything that can cause us illness.

This is why I am trying my best to cope up with my body, to let it rest early. You know it does not make us healthy only but it can also help us stay younger looking as our cells are blooming and not lousy or overused lol.

Excellent article and a good reminder. We often underestimate the importance of getting enough sleep. Contrary to popular belief, sleep is not optional. LOL. Sleep deprivation is also very bad for relationships. From personal experience, if I don't get enough sleep, I'm highly irritable. I snap easily. Not good for relationships at all. I've learned to guard my sleeping hours like a hawk. I need at least 8 hours. If not, better stay far, far away from me. LOL.

Exactly it's not really healthy for relationship because you get irritated over small things, and I might say I am just like you. I have a long face all day if I lack sleep 🤣🤣

Haha...we both need to guard our sleeping hours. And btw, I hate morning alarms. That's the worst invention ever if you ask me. Alarms for other matters/things are great (like baking, fires, floods, tornadoes, alien invasions, etc but not for morning wake-up calls).

For me I need the alarm or else I will not wake up anymore haha I am a heavy sleeper if I don't have alarms 😂

Build a contraption that pours a bucket of water on you when it's time to wake up. No need for so many alarms then. 😂

Ako, di ko alam kung complete 7-8 hours ba tulog ko pero ang alam ko as much as possible, nag natutulog din ako sa hapon.. para pag napuyat man sa gabi, nakakapag rest pa rin sa hapon.. natatakot din ako pag laging puyat kasi iba yung effect ng sakit ng ulo ko pag lack of sleep lagi.. kaya iniingatan ko din sarili ko kasi tumatanda na ako. hehe.

Kaya nga ako, 9:30 na natutulog tapos 5 something ang gising ee. Kasi pansin ko din kakapuyat ko ata mas lumala na hair loss ko 😕. Tapos nanlalabo na din mata ko kaya ayon. Basta pag 9 something tulog na. Pero minsan kasi di din maiwasan na magpuyat lalo na may hinahabol na quota sa pagbabasa ng artikol ahaha. Kina career ko ata ee ahahahaha. I go through months where I have a lot of trouble sleeping and then I have months where I sleep for a solid 7 to 8 hours every night. The difference is the number of hours I spend working in a day. If I go to work and also work in my garden and tire myself out completely then I easily sleep through the night. If I just work 9 or 10 hours in a day between my job and my garden it doesn't tire me out enough to get to sleep. But, yes I completely agree that a good night's sleep is necessary to function well in life.

Jan ako ngkasakit eh, lagi kulang sa tulog at sa screentime. Binigyan ako ng vits ng doktor at ng gamot , now okay na ko. Di nko masyado ngpupuyata, di ko nadin pinepressure sarili ko mgpuyat pa, or mastress sa online world. 😅 Mahirap mgkasakit eh, sayang lng mga naipon pag katawan natin bumagsak.

It is very important to give yourself enough sleep at least 8hours maximum so as to make your body system rest from the tedious activities you have engaged them with. I have come to realize that sleeping early and at the right time can scare away illness or disease. I have always tried my best to give myself enough sleep so that I can be energized for the next activities.

It was my problem lately, though I take my vitamin regularly. That's why I scold my husband when he comes home late because I easily gets disturbed and can't get back to sleep easily minsan p nga mag-uumaga na pro d p rin mkatulog. As I was reading, it felt like i am being scolded by my mom or a doctor. Hehe Growing up, my height didn't grow up hahahhaha chorr I mean my sleep disorder became so extreme after my dad passed away and I witnessed his last hours. I became so sensitive to noise and can last upto 5days without having even an hour of sleep. I know I should have been checked by a specialist but I have no rights to have myself checked if mama overall health was not checked yet. Mama is aging too and is my priority. Sad to say that everything we need involves money.

Thank you, it's very unusual people can understand me like most of the time they bully me because my sleep pattern was different(it's really hard living with a different sleep pattern), my eyebags suck, and my pimples are all over my face and they are mocking me that I should have applied as a security guard instead, etc. I guess these are the price of having sleep deprivation which I need to address slowly. Sorry to hear about abdomen pain due to your CS, I know how that can be so painful because my mom had it too and whenever she did something heavy, she always felt pain.

For sleep 🤣🤣🤣, I break rules. No matter how much I try to sleep early, I always ended sleeping in the early hours of the morning and this causes me to always feel weak all the time and go to work late.

Like yesterday, I slept at about 30 minutes past twelve because I was watching a movie and wouldn't want to stop watching until am done and to add to this whole issue is that I find it always hard to take an afternoon nap like every other human being, can you imagine what I let myself go through.

I know it is not healthy but it has become an addiction that I can't sleep early to complete my 8hours sleep cycle even when I am not doing anything or watching movie, I always have to sleep late.

Reading this today, I felt as though I am being warned to change my lifestyle, to avoid breaking down one day and I wish to take a conscious step towards that.

I am like you, that feeling you just woke up but it feels like you are very tired because you only sleep 4-5hrs. It's an addiction, if you are using mobile or always using gadgets that's probably radiation addiction, no matter how much you tried to sleep to early but your cp seems calling you to use it or watch movies 🤣

This is why I wrote this because I experienced fatigue recently because of lacking enough sleep.

Oh that is not good habbit and you doing unfair with your body. Normal human need 7 - 8 hours maximum to sleep and you whole night was watching series This can be effect your eye sight as well lead to weakness and depression. So make sure to sleep properly. Me too last night was writing an article so i slept at 2 am but i am completed my sleep hours. Take care of health is more important than anything

Naeexperience ko po ung pag kulang tulog ko i got easily stress over things. Having enough sleep is good for our body to avoid being ill. But there are lot of temptations, reasons why we havent get enough sleep. Sabe ng teacher ko dati pag matutulog daw ilayo yung gadgets sa ulo or sayo kase yung radiation nya makakaapekto sayo that makes you not to fall asleep kase matetemp ka hawakan at gamitin ang cp mo.

Ayy..Agree talaga ako dito po.. Sa part ko na, kahit isang oras lang yung kulang sa tulog ko po, parang ang lamya-lamya nang araw ko. Yung hindi ako komportable sa ginagawa ko, para akong balisa, at puyat-puyat..Sumasakit din po yung ulo ko, pag kulang ako sa tulog..

Every strenuous activity make us fatigued. So we should take rest for a while. You can take rest for 4 hours that is also enough but it should be regular. Sad you are ill. Sooner you shall recover. You are right,"A sound body has a sound mind".

The importance of good sleep cannot be overemphasized. I knew how important it was few days ago when I was sleep deprived and my body asked for it. We don't have to wait till our body demands for it. For the sake of our health, sanity and even our mood, it helps. I have a knack for sleeping late as as usual, I still haven't learnt since I am still up till now: 3:47 am but fair to me, I know I would wake up late since I don't have any urgent place to go to later today.
