Why you Hate K-pop if you don't Understand them?

We have a lot of Likes and Dislikes, Sometimes your taste may other people also like it, sometimes they will not. But do you know what is important? Let's respect each other if what we will want to like and will never judge.

Music, When we talk about music I love listening to Music. But I do like different kind of genres except for ballad because it makes me sleep when I hear them. Ops! If you have a problem to what I like, go back and read from the start of this article.

One of the famous in this generation is the K-pop song. That it become trend since when 2ne1 group

and because of Sandara Park which is she once become part of the Philippine Industry and she is proud representing our Philippine country to Korea until now.

Not just because of them but because of the other Korean artists too that become part of some of the teen agers or youth when they first know about k-pop where the 2010 start era: Bigbang, VIXX, Wonder girls, Girls' Generation, Exid, EXO and many more. Of course one of them is one of the Famous K-pop group right now, the Bangtan Sonyeondan or also known as BTS.

They are one of the most famous K-pop artist worldwide yet despite of this successful of them they still experiencing hate from many people around the world.

One of those example of hate to them is, Many mens called them Bayot or Gay in English. Why? Because of some boys think that they are more manly than those koreans knowing that korean are more skinny and not have so masculine look of their body. However, they do that so that their body will be in perfectly fit and they do diet as well to maintain their weight and good shape of body. But did you know that there are also a korean boy group that consist of members that have a masculine shape of body?

The South Korean boy group Monsta-X but don't mind that photo above that is just a meme, you can just try to search Monsta X Abs in Google (to avoid sexual content here at my article lol).

Anyways, not just because of their Body but because some guys think that they are gay because even boys can wear make-up in Korea, the bags of girls too that can be even boys can wear it as one of their fashion. Not knowing that make up is not just for only girls and they did not know that even boys can wear it if they want to.

Now let's talk about why Do you hate K-pop songs? One of the reason why and some of you will answer like a question:

• Why listening to K-pop if you can't understand them?

For me the taste of music is not depends on language. If you like the beat of the song you can like them, you can even dance your head and humming when you hear that song right? Even if you don't understand them if you like the beat you can like them. As for the language, that's the reason why we have Google Translate. What is the purpose of the Google translate if you will not use it to translate some words that you don't understand right? That is the purpose why they invented that plus some of the youtube vloggers can also make their own video just so for the sake of us who don't understand the song lyrics and can able to know what is the story behind the song.

You hate because of this and that, that you come to the stage that you also tell some hurtful words to the person who like it. What's wrong with liking something you don't understand? It is easy if you don't like them, leave them alone and never judge the artists that did not do anything wrong or the fans for liking them.

But did you know that you have this little things that you did not know in K-pop Songs?

Other people think that K-pop songs are always for dancing since some artists are always dance when they make a comeback, and I find it unique because other artists make a songs and music videos in a normal way like acting and feel the lyrics as what it was meant. But in K-pop, artists can also do that but they can also make the song conveyed it with dance and they are also have a competitions not just like here in our Philippines that some artists are just have one competition and awarding because they are more in to drama.

Anyways, What are the things that did you know in K-pop songs despite of their dancing skills in the song that you think it was happy or fun but

• The Lyrics are have a sad meaning, behind of those smile and catchy steps of the song, little thing that you did not know when you translate it to English you can find some lyrics that have a deep meaning.

• The Lyrics of the song comforting you, you don't understand it because the language that they are using but behind of the reason that they use their language if you will translate it to English, you will smile and feel safe because it has a words that comforting you thru depressions, anxiety, or problems of your life.

And that is the the reason why I like K-pop song esp. the Boy Band, BTS. One of my example song that I like is BTS member Jin's Epiphany song

This is the first song that I heared that comforts me and learn to love my self from the lyrics of the song, "I'm the one I should love in this world 🎶" (you can tap the CC caption)

Despite of the hate that they always recieve due to their success, and why they are famous is because of their song. They don't create or composed music for popularity and the reason why they have a lot of fans, because of the song that they sing, dance, composed, and make are comforting some youth to their struggles to life.

As for me I don't hate my country's artists. But as a Filipino, I can't stop myself to love more songs of international artists than here. It is because the fact that in our country, the songs are always about:

• Break-up songs, I'm sick of it hearing some words that about broken hearted thingy.

• Songs with some bad words content (lyrics) that it should be ban because sometimes, some children will be influenced to learn to speak some words that they shouldn't be and;

• They are plagiarizing some beat that they did not own just for the sake of their popularity.

I don't like to say this but because of this kind of Music system in our country, we have a lot of jobless person. They get used to learn bad manner at the young age, because of the influenced of some rap music since when the rap battle became trendy here. They think they are cool because of that but did not realize that they look like a trash talker that doesn't have a respect to their selves.

But before the music in our country is not really like that. We have a lot of old songs that never get old and I still hear them until now and I am wondering why those talent in music are gone and where are they now?

Another thing is some artists are making the Social media more toxic because of the disgusting scandals and news about them just so their name will become popular and that is how they use soc-med. That it was okay if they will become dumb or destroyed in the sight of many people as long as they will become famous.

So, You can't blame those people who are more into international esp. To K-pop than supporting their own country's artists.

But the purpose of this topic is not about why I dislike my Country's artists songs but I just want to tell you that no matter what the person like we should respect them. We should respect their own likes and never throw a hate against the people if you don't like them. 💚 Because I see a lot of people did not even have a respect to the likes or wants of other people and even insult the artists without even doing anything bad and

Music is still music, we have our own different languages to use and it is valid for people to listen other country's song as a support because they appreciate the talents of the artists to compose a song they want to share to everyone and to inspire many people.
