Welcome to another episode of #ShopeeFinds.
Calendar check. It's October 10 again which means another monthly sale is here.
I don't usually go out of the house, or go to the mall or convenience/grocery store to buy stuff such as clothes and shoes, and daily needs like groceries because I don't like going out of my den, especially with the kind of situation we are in now. It's also not my thing because it easily drains my energy especially when I interact with a lot of people. Malls are also actually located in the city which is 2 hours away from our house so it is expensive if I'll just go there to shop.
However, when I was still living in a dormitory in the City when I was studying in my first and second year in college, I used to find it fun to walk around the aisle of the department store while checking all of the products displayed.
Another reason why I don't buy things in a physical store is that I don't really have much cash to spend because most of my money are in my bank account and in cryptocurrencies. I only have some when I need to withdraw for important things.
This is why I really find it convenient using online stores like the Shopee app because everything can be purchased online. I just need to top up my wallet in the app and I can now check-out the items in my cart and just wait for products to be delivered in our house.
Speaking of payments, I again converted some of my Bitcoin Cash earnings which I used during this monthly sale.
The 0.017BCH that I converted is equivalent to 525 pesos and the 500 pesos is topped up in my Shopee wallet. So these are the things that I checked out.
1. Nachos and Biscuits
If you have read my Shopee Finds: Snacks and Food Edition article, you already saw this item. I bought them again at MJF Online Sari-Sari shop because it's the store that sells the products at the cheapest price. This time, I purchased two nachos, which I believe could last for almost two weeks. I also chose butter stick biscuits than the iced gem biscuits because it's a little cheaper. Haha! For these items, I paid a total of 193 pesos ($3.84) including the shipping fee. And I will also earn 50 Shopee coins because of the voucher.
2. Oreo Cookies
This has been in my cart since last month and I decided to just check it out already. It's a buy 1 take 1 Oreo cookies worth 125 pesos ($2.49). I bought it in Michelle Silverio shop that sells chocolate snacks. I don't know if I saved some cash in purchasing this cookies but I hope I did. Lols! I will also receive 30 Shopee Coins because of the cashback voucher.
3. Tempered Glass
I dropped my phone before that its tempered glass cracked. It's not that visible because it's just a small crack but it's distracting me whenever I notice it so I searched for tempered glass on Shopee that is compatible for my phone. This is the cheapest one I saw which costs 19 pesos ($0.38) including the shipping fee so I checked it out.
4. Phone Cases
I bought phone cases because the clear case I have is already yellowish (Hahaha!) and the other one's design is already fading. I like the clear case because I love the color at the back of my phone which is greenish. I also purchased the liquid silicone case so I can use both alternately. I paid 68 pesos ($1.35) for these cases and I'll receive 6 Shopee coins from the cashback voucer.
5. Jollibee Share Treats E-Vouchers
I am actually not a fan of buying E-vouchers of Jollibee or McDo products because I know how some staff and managers would react once you are going to claim the vouchers already. They would let you wait for 30 minutes to even an hour just to claim a burger.
But I still purchased some because I had an extra to the money I topped up. Since I'm going to the City again this Wednesday, I'll just claim them once I get there. In total, I paid 65 pesos ($1.30) for these Yumburger, vanilla twirl, buko pie, and Jolly hotdog.
I still have some left from the money I sent in Shopee so I will just spend them by buying more Jollibee e-vouchers.
So that's another spending episode of some of my Bitcoin Cash earnings. I wish I should've just saved the money but I think these are reasonable items. Haha!
So what did you buy from the sale?
Wahhh, Florieeeee ang sarap magpa budol ano? Ahahaha nag order din me yieheee. 4 items lang sakin at need ko talaga huehue. Till next time ulit, like sa 11.11 and 12.12? Ahahahaha
