The Last Few Days
Hello friends and readers of read.cash. It's Monday and I feel like I didn't have a weekend. Anyone else feel this way? I'm way too tired for it being a Monday. I will have to muster up some energy because I have a busy work schedule this week. Unfortunately it will dip into some of my weekend.
Let me tell you about my last few days. I'll also talk about and share some of the articles I received for the last challenge I put out. I'll end with some things I've noticed here that our encouraging.
Last few days
Let's start with Friday. The day started normal and I kind of had a plan for the weekend. My plan was basically to delivery drive for most of it. It was at about 2:00 p.m. that my son texted me and told me he had a game tonight. Ok one game no big deal probably a scrimmage game but there was more. He told me he had basketball tournament this weekend.
So the venue is about an hour from my house. His first game is at 8:55 p.m. The game lasted about an hour and I got home at about 11:30 p.m. A little past my normal bed time so I was tired.
So I had to get my son up early the next morning as his next game is at 9:15 a.m. I made a simple breakfast some scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and some toast. We left the house at about 7:45 a.m. The game lasted another hour or so and he had another one at 3:55 p.m. My son didnt want to stick around so we went back home so he could take a nap.
I wish I could have got a nap myself but that wasn't in my cards. I get home to do some chores and other things asked by my wife. She took full advantage of my time while I wasn't delivery driving this weekend much. Not going to lie I became annoyed.
After the afternoon game was over I left with my son and one of his teammates. I asked if they wanted something to eat. They quickly replied with a yes. We went to Dairy Queen and all of us got blizzards. I guess we all didn't want food. I got home at about 7:30 after dropping off his teammate at his home. I got to bed somewhat early if I remember correctly.
So next day (Sunday) his last game of the weekend was at 1:55 p.m. The morning I spent time in the garage doing some spring cleaning. I also attended to some hidden agenda that someone had I will not go into. Just know I strongly believe I took the right course of action. This was two part as I attended to it again later that night. I did get to do some delivery driving from 4:30 to 8:00. I got to bed at 9:00 p.m. thinking an end of the day. Nope I got a call from my Son at 10:00 saying his ride home bailed out. I get him and I think I fell asleep just past 11:00. Alright sorry for the boring account of the last few days of mine.

I had many submissions for the all other's challenge. A lot did not choose the right challenge but that's ok there was still effort. I guess a lot wanted to just give me a rose or get one from me, lol. I'm not a strict person who disqualifies based on honest mistakes like some are. Things I have Noticed
I have seen a lot more articles of course. So much that no one can read them all including me. I've seen a lot of engagement in articles as well which is good. If your a newbie and doing this watch out your going to gain some new friends because this is what this place does. Probably the best thing I have witnessed is there seems to be more upvotes by users. I personally have seen some that really didn't upvote before but are doing it now 🤗 I hope more find it in their heart to do this as well.

Wow I can't keep up with all of you. Some articles being produced, haha. It's like this second coming has generated extra grinding.
A Dream of Virtual Accounts
So Tuesday night I was exhausted and I caught a little bit of the American TV show the Bachelor. I don't usually watch this but I watched for about 5 minutes or so. I than went to bed early as I had to work some early morning overtime. Here is the aircraft we loaded passengers and baggage onto.
What you see is a B767 which is theme wrapped with the colors and achievements of the New England Patriots a National Football League (NFL) team here in the USA. This aircraft is used to transport the team during road games. During the off season the airline flies it for contractual commitments. Since the aircraft arrived a day before I made sure to where my Miami Dolphins gear, hehe the day of loading. The airline representative we worked with got a kick out of that.
Anyways I'm here to talk to you about a dream I had Tuesday night. Somehow my mind manifested a dream about the Bachelor show. I was the Bachelor and the contestants were read.com users 😂
This is for fun and I can't control what my unconscious mind does when I sleep. It's a bit strange and the dream didn't start off at the beginning and it didn't have an ending. I would never be in this situation and those I'm about to mention would probably not be either. It's laughable that I even dreamt this.
Location
Well the location this took place at was in the Philippines. Where at exactly? I don't know but we were staying at a huge mansion near the sea. Usually on the show it's one bachelor and 25 women. Also each contestant arrives in a limo solo and introduces themselves to the bachelor. This did not happen in my dream.
What I think would have happened that didn't
I could see each contestant arriving in a limo jeepney, lol. I could see everyone dressed in dresses and all looking stunning :) Each of the contestants would give me a 2-3 minute introduction of themselves. Usually the first night includes a first impression rose based on those introductions, only one is given out. Again this didn't happen.
How it happened
The first thing that I recall happening was @Rhed handing me a list of eight names written down on a peace of paper. Rhed was the host of the show. I looked at the names and noticed they were read.cash user names. No surprises here they were all Filipinas 😳🥰 😆
Probably wondering who was on that list eh? Well let me tell you who I talked to. Oh btw this is all happening in this mansion bar area, so it's kind of cocktail party you can say. Some people I didn't talk to because they were absence. Others I never got the opportunity because I woke up.
The first one on the list is @jane. I didn't see her so I called out for her. A few said she wasn't here. l was also told she went for hiking adventure by herself. Oh Jane the Explorer, hehe.
The next one the list is @itravelRox We headed outside to have some one on one time. We started off talking about skiing something that is available to me but I've never tried. Than talked about her as a traveler and ended sharing stories of past relationship.
The third on the list is @bmjc98 I don't see her so I call for her and no one knows where's she at. Oh where oh where is MJ? We all miss her right?
Shortly after this, before I can even look at my list the partner of @Jeansapphire39shows up to the mansion. Jean departs, apparently she posted of her whereabouts on Facebook. Too many individuals with husbands, partners, or boyfriends it was bound to happen to somebody, haha.
Next one up is @Sydney2I head outside again for some one on one time. Our conversation starts with Sydney's interest on my time in the retro 1990's, her favorite era. I told her a lot of my experiences back than when I was her age 😳 😂 **Interesting enough I will share my favorite era on my next article on Hive (not part of dream).**
Rhed felt bad for me that two were no shows and that one left abruptly so he secretly invited someone not on the list. This individual was @JeanethWe get away from everybody and our conversation starts with her wanting to know more wacky deliveries I have made. I share a few of them with her. We than begin to talk about personalities traits we like to see in others.
The last person I talked to is @Chelle18 The first thing we talked about is how thankful she was when I left a special tip for her a few months back. I told her she was welcome. I mentioned I was thankful for her decision to keep writing here the last few months despite Rusty's departure. I said one more thing to her, " Congratulations on Author of the Month, for March" I didnt get to see her reaction because I woke up.
Sometimes dreams do come true. Chelle this part of the dream is coming true as I do select you for my Author of the month:) Lightening can hit twice positively 😁 I hope this helps your family as much as it did before.
The other two that were on the list I didn't get to talk to were @TeacherLynlyn & @alicecalope I did see you two, haha. Would have been interesting to see what we would have talked about along with @Jeansapphire39 I think it would have been some random read topics like the rest though 😂
Challenge

After the dream
Even though the Bachelor show is about finding love, I tell you my dream had no feeling what so ever of that. I mean I wasn't thinking of who I was going to end up with. It was really a weird dream, huh? I didn't leave much detail out and their was no kissing or even hugging for that matter. It was really just a gathering of good company you could say.

My Whacky Delivery Stories /February Author of the Month
Hello friends and readers of read.cash. How is everyone? I have been extremely busy and its taking a toll on me. Rather than rant about that, I will write about some funny things and reveal some one deserving of my author of the month (sorry way past due).
Some of you have known me for awhile and know I have a lot of stories. I think it's just because I'm old, hehe. Anyways let me share some delivery experiences that should get some good laughs. I have mentioned one already on Noise.app click here. I won't mention it again because many of you have seen it or read it on Hive. Delivery Experience
I've been doing this side Hussle job for almost two years. With anything you do for a bit of time comes with experiences. Most are positive ones, few are negative, and at times some are just hilarious. Just to give you ideas how many deliveries I have made here is a screenshot of my total.
Well let me give you a handful of some funny or whacky ones. I will label each of them with a catchy title. These are not all of them but ones that are fresh in my head.
Hot Santa
It was a hot day in the summer and I was delivering a pizza to a customer. I knock on the door and a guy answers the door. His appearance reminds me of Santa Claus. Long gray hair/beard and round body shape. The thing that caught me off guard was he was wearing nothing but long boxers, cowboy boots, and a straw hat. So maybe he was trying to cool off, nothing about him gave off his appearance of being "hot."😂
He also gave me a tip of $3.00. You can't complain about that right? Well I got it all in quarters. Maybe he thought I needed to go to the laundry mat 😂 My first thought was he was going to ask me to do his laundry (he didn't). Maybe that was why he was lacking much needed clothes. No, Santa I'm not doing your laundry. So go ahead a put me on your naughty lists :)
Do you have a cigarette?
Alright this is fresh because it happened yesterday. I was making a double deliver that paid $20. I made the first delivery and made $18.00 So that meant the next one was going to be a stiff because it would only contain the minimum delivery pay. It was a trunk full of groceries I had to log up these steps three times.
Already not feeling motivated about this delivery because the pay is not here for the effort. I was greeted by a guy who was thankful for the groceries. After my third trip he asked if I have a cigarette he can borrow. I told him I don't smoke in which I don't. I thought who ask to borrow a smoke? Are they going to give it back? I felt it was an insult, no tip, but your going to ask for something from me when I'm providing you a service already. If I would have been more talkative I'm sure he would have asked if I could pick him up some since he mentioned he was stuck at home with no transportation.
Three beer cheer
Another grocery order this time to a trailer park. Approaching the trailer I noticed 3 unopened Bud light bottles on the way deck to the trailers entrance.
A middle aged lady answers the door. Maybe a little younger than me. I get the feeling right away she is happy to see me. She told me all about her day. No I didn't ask any questions she just blabbed away I was forced to listen Than she brought up how these three beers mysteriously showed up her deck. I really think she wanted me to stay and drink them in her company. She did ask me if I wanted them.
Many of you know I don't drink so I didn't lie when I said I don't drink. This led to her telling me she only drinks seldomly. I finally got away from her door after about 10 minutes or so later. Thankful my phone rang with another delivery opportunity so that made it easy to say good bye, lol.
Robe Women
This was a delivery for a restaurant order. It was to a decent looking neighborhood. It was a leave at the door order but when I approached the house the owner opened the door. She greeted me with a normal high and than told me she couldn't pass up seeing a handsome man. I told her thank you. She was in a black robe than told me she forgot to order dessert (with a wink) while she held the the ropes of her robe. Apparently she was more than just hungry for food. I just laughed and told her thank you and to have a good evening. I'm no male gigolo and don't want to be on an episode of the Jerry Springer show.
Don't leave on ground put on the ....
Another food delivery this time it was a true leave at the door. It was to an older house in a low income neighborhood. The entrance to the house was at the top of a beaten falling apart deck. The deck was full of trash and a toilet was by the door. Yes you probably guessed it right the delivery notes said don't leave on ground place on toilet, please. This was my first week delivering driving. I just couldn't fathom that it's more sanitary to leave on toilet that has been sitting on deck for who knows for how long.
I have had a many other experiences doing this job. From drunk people offering me shots and even stoners offering me a hit of thier stash. I was given a three dollar check one time from an elderly lady. Also given a decorated candy bag during Christmas from another elderly women. I've delivered to houses where I almost gagged when they opened the door. Probably delivered a dozen times to half naked people. I try not to deliver to much past dark because that is really when the freaks order.
Oh I mentioned I had a weekly goal delivery driving right? Probably noticed I haven't been flying around reading articles that much this week as well. It's because I was working my tail off. You know what though I'm only half way through Saturday and got Sunday to go. I've already exceed my goal so I can back off some but that doesn't mean I'm going to completely stop working though. The weather is cold here again and there's not much else to do so why not work some more. I'm very proud of this week delivery driving because it's the best I have ever done in one week. Here is my stats so far:

Author of the Month of February
I really feel confident with this selection. We all know Rusty is back for the time being. When he left a few months back a few us stayed and were dedicated to still make read.cash work. This individual had a drive to do this just as much as me. I'll even admit he had an extra gear than me. He continuously upvoted one of my articles over and over. I believe the unwritten message was don't give up and continue on.
You see you can lead something and when you hit close to bottom you may have someone that believed in the cause as much as you do. That person picks it up and brings you back. I know some of you that were here the last two months know who this is. I'd like to also mention this person is probably the closest to me geographically. Actually only a few hours drive away.
Congratulations brother @Porwest your an inspiration to others. Count me as one of them!! Let's ready the ship and keep encouraging people to write and be part of this community. It might be a little easier now that @TheRandomRewarder is back, lol.
After Thoughts
I love doing my delivery driving job aka as DoorDash. Sometimes the quirky things that happens are settle laughs that make it fun in sense. For the future I might share more experiences. I'll try to document them with screenshots and photos if possible.
I'm a bit behind on Author of Month and will get to March hopefully before it ends. I like to do this incentive for authors as it show appreciation and encourages them to stay where they should stay in this great platform.

A Weird Delivery
I've been delivery driving for awhile I see weird things. Today's first delivery included some Juice and some boy toys.
I check notes it mention leave by door I'll stick my head out to see ya here with my order. Well Troy if your door has a zipper don't stick it out 😂 🤣 😂
Than I get DM from Troy. That downstairs door will be propped open with Rock. I guess someone wanted his Juice to get delivered successfully right? 🤣 😂 🤣
Once I deliver I usually DM thanking them, have a great day and enjoy. I didn't this time but was thinking of saying Have a great night and enjoy yourself with an open hand ✋ 😂 😂🤣

Overwhelmed Blogger
Hello friends and readers of read.cash. How is everyone doing? I'm on day 2 of my grind but won't be driving much today because we have plumbing issues here at the house. A matter of fact it's just past 1030 a m. and the plumber just left. Plus I have to take son to school and take the dog to the vet. I'm guessing I won't be driving until 1:00 p.m. or so.
In this article I will tell you why I'm happy to see him back and explain how the random rewarder returning has over whelmed me as a blogger. I will have to figure out a balance between Hive and here. I don't like to start something and quit on it.
Rusty return
When I wrote my last article I had no idea of the green bot making a return. Wow, I can't even count how many visits he made on my post. A couple of pages of notifications. I guess he missed me, lol. Most were small amounts but they added up to be a decent amount. I simply returned his generosity back to the community
It did not take long for old users to make a return. I also have noticed a flood of new users. My notifications are full and I don't think I will get through all of them. I don't know if anyone has noticed but we can see each other's short posts when we click on each other's profile. That is something I like. I was thinking the next #readcashrain event I was going to do an article instead of short post. This new feature makes me rethink that.
I'm happy to see a lot of you back. I went to Hive because things were awfully slow here. I connected with some of you there but now that Rusty is back I've seen even more of you. So that is my favorite part about seeing the random rewarder coming back. I feel his return comes with an unwritten notice. I believe we have to be different than before. We are all happy to receive from him but let's keep the rewards flowing to others as well. Let's not waste this second opportunity. Give some and take a little less for yourself!!
Balancing
I've wanted to try out Hive for quite some time. I held back because I didn't want to overwhelm myself as a blogger. Now that it's happening here again I feel like I'm overwhelmed now. I don't want to pick one over the other. I have to figure out a balance some how.
I have some thoughts but I don't know if I can adhere to them though, lol. One thought is to simply spend time on only one platform each day. So kind of rotating back and forth. Another is maybe spending the morning on one and the evening on the other. What are your thoughts?
After thoughts
I'm happy to see Rusty back because it has brought you all back :) I hope this second opportunity is taken more serious by all of us. Sure enjoy some earning but just don't reap them all for yourself.
Like I said at the top I don't want to quit either platform. Just a little thought, read.cash has been my calling for longer. Also I'm able to be more of a motivator and rewarder here. Hive is amazing as well and it will take me some time to grow there. Speaking of Hive, a few I know are trying to get there. I don't think being a newbie there I should onboard them, they need an experienced user. So if anybody is looking to onboard someone. Here are two users that are looking to jump into Hive. @Lesly90 @alicecalope Also I have meant some new friends over at Hive that I will try to recruit here :)

Hello Noise Mates
How is everyone doing? I'm ok just a sleep deprived but I'll be ok. Things are happening aren't they?
A return of the random rewarder has caused a few articles to be written again. It's good to see the engagements but let's show some love of each other but upvoting each other.
Yesterday was my personal best delivery driving for a day. The sun, stars, and moon all lined up I almost made $400. Which is much needed right now. I plan on working my tail off this coming week to get back some of my financial mojo.

What Have I Been up to?
Hello friends how are all of you? I'm ok, been working a lot of hours lately. I have been away for 10 days. I would have visited here if I was able but I wasn't able to login.
I was having issues here with articles disappearing so I decided to clear the cashe on my phone and restart it. Afterall I got feedback from many that things were going fine for them Upon trying to login I forget my password. No biggie, it's happened before I'll just do a password reset. It wouldn't reset and I got this message below for 10 days until today.
It's a good thing I kept my seed phrase in a safe known place because it prompted me for it. I've never had to use it ever and felt glad I wrote it down. So it's good to be back and this has been my longest absence on this platform. I had some good Korean food today. The food coma hasn't kicked in yet but I'm sure it will, lol.
So what to discuss? Well I'll tell you a little bit about my hive experience. Also what I have planned for next week since I will be off from my full-time job.
Hive
Generally I really like Hive. Since I wasn't here I spent most of my online time there. I've met some new friends and bumped into some read.cash peeps I haven't seen in awhile. I'm just a little spectacle over there trying to build up or in Hive it's referred to as powering up. There is so much to do there but I'm keeping it simple by just writing, reading, and engaging.
I find it a little bit more difficult trying to read from people you follow. There articles show up on your blog and if I'm seeing it right the blog refreshes every so often. At least I think it does maybe I'm lost in that regards. I've been there a month and still learning things everyday.
There is a ton of interaction there and I think what's helped me the most there is the people I met here that are there. So that really is what has made a big difference for me there. So if your one of those people and are reading here still, thank you. Also if you put good effort and time into your articles you will get rewarded. The community over there really likes newbies and many users will spend their time helping. Speaking of communities that is a big staples there, there are hundreds of them. I'm flexing there a tiny bit, maybe a pimple sized muscle bump, lol.
Next week
So next week off from my full time job. What's in store for me? I plan on working my butt off. I plan on working close to 90 hours delivery driving next week. Why? I need to break this financial burdon I'm in right now. Yesterday I worked 14 hours and will again today. I made some dollars and seen an end ahead. I'd rather get their as quickly as possible rather than turtle my way there. I have a goal to make the most I ever have in one week. I strongly believe I can achieve that.
If for some unforseen reason I hit my goal early I will take rest. By rest I mean I might pay visit to the zoo, down town area, and maybe hit some museums. I went fishing on Sunday and the bite is quite not there yet so I won't be doing that sadly.
After thoughts
Like I said at top I'm glad the door opened up for me again here. This place is so simple to compose an article and do everything. The simplicity is relaxing and it doesn't take a lot of thought to do things here. Hive is much more complex but at the same time is fun. You can power up or accumulate funds in so many different ways there.
Next week I will be busy but my delivery driving job does have breaks. Sometimes you have waiting times such as waiting for orders to come in or wait times at merchants. Those are the minutes I might see what's going on here and there.

Winter Go Away
Hello Noise Mates. How is everyone doing?
I was watching the news the other day and they were showing pictures of some tree buds forming. It was almost 60 F. Now the weather is around 28 F and snowing.
Come on Spring can't you sucker punch Winter and knock them out? I want the sun and warmer temperatures to do things outside. Grabbing the shovel is not what I want to be doing outside. How much longer will it last? I hope its soon but something tells me it will be at least another few weeks.

What has everyone been up to? The week is almost over but I still feel the weight of last weekend on my shoulders still. Yesterday I had Tai food for lunch. Today is a teaching day for me. I will teach 10 students the basics about shipping and certifying hazardous materials.

Fell asleep on couch woke up around 230 in the morning. I than went to take my contact lens out. Never a fun task when you keep them in too long.
So Im not sure if lens fell some where or got rolled up my eye socket 😳 It's freaking me out, I never went to bed and now it's too late to go to bed due to having to work today. My mind is telling me it's still in there. The thought is driving me crazy and thinking I feeling it in there. Is my mind playing tricks?

Tai Nam Gan
Hello friends and readers how are you? I have had a bit of a nasty cold. I'm getting better day by day. Prior to today I had soup three days in a row. The first two days I had the traditional Chicken Noodle Cambells Chunky soup. Taking in some chicken broth to try to shake this cold some.
So for the third day I really wanted to try some good authentic soup. So I decided to go Vietnamese Noodle shop near my work.
The name of the restaurant I went to was IPho#1 it's basically known for there Vietnamese beef broth noodle soup. I had the Tai Nam Gan soup.
What's in the bowl? House special Beef (Bo) broth, fresh rice noodles, onions, rare eye of round steak and tendon. The plate? Bean sprouts, cilantro, Jalapeno Slices, and Lime. Dump the plate on top as you go along.
I started with a regular spoon and a noodle spoon. I was having a hard time with the spoon because the noodles just kept falling off it so I went with some chop sticks. I had about 45 minutes to eat and get back to work once I received my lunch.
I ordered the small bowl, there is a large one which in my opinion is way too much. I grabbed a good size of noodles every bite. It was hot but so yummy and delicious. The bean sprouts were a nice compliment to everything. The jalapeno slices gave it just the right kick of heat. The meat was tender and very good.
I actually thought I wasn't going to have time to finish. It just seemed the noodles were endless in that bowl. I did finish but I hardly had anytime between finishing and getting back to work. If your looking for a soup that has a lot of substance in it try this one, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. There were many other variations of food on the menu. I will be back another time to try something else.

Pictured is Tai Nam Gan a super tasty Vietnamese beef Noodle soup. I got the small bowl and it took all my wit to put it away. It was like never ending noodles 😋

Am I Scared of Anything?
Hello friends and readers. How has your weekend went so far? Mine has so far been a busy one. It's almost like I won't get much time to re-energize for the normal work week which starts on Monday for me. There is some good news I was able to spare a small amount to deposit here.
Today my article came from the ideas from another user here. Alright I will tell you one of my fears, I don't want to give you all of them as you would certainly be able to bring me to my knees 😂 I think there are a few people here who know what it is. My fear is of the following stinging flying insects: bees, wasps, and hornets. Let me tell you my story.
Flying stinging insects
I think most of us feared these in our younger days. I just never grew up dropping the fear 😂 I never got stung by them until I reached the ripe age of 42. I thought in my mind that maybe I'm allergic to them. I did have other family members that were though.
The earliest memories of my encounters come from mowing grass. I lived in the county side growing up so we had a huge lawn. My first encounter was me versus the bumblebee. On one side of our lawn was a grove. An area that doesn't get mowed. There was tall grass and plenty of pollen producing plants. The bumblebees would fly around and the sound and size made me think they would pack a good punch. I'll admit there were many times I left the lawn mower by running away from it like a little girl seeing a mouse. On the main lawn their were a lot smaller bees on dandelions. Ok the mow paths weren't always straight 😂 Sometimes I would stop than quickly mow over them.
I have had so many close calls with wasps in particular. I have had them land on my arm numerous times. I would swat them off and run the 1oo meters probably in record times. Heck maybe I should have ran short distances in track. Put a beehive behind me and when the gun sounds I bet surely my chances of winning would be high.
Hornets I have only seen a few times. Darn things are monsters who wouldn't be afraid of a 2 to 3 inch stinging insects. I remember one time going to mail box to retrieve the mail. I opened the door and heard and seen one. Once again my quick reaction and quick speed saved me. I finally got the mail but it was hours later as I slowly approached the mail box with caution.
My time did come when I finally got stung. What was I doing? I was mowing grass alongside a shed in my back yard. I felt like a pebble hit me hard in the back of my head. It wasn't a pebble because the pain was accompanied by a pulse related feeling where I was hit. Surely it was a wasp because there was a huge nest near the peak crest of the shed.
My only other time was this past summer when I was at work. Some co-workers were loading up a rack that contained some metal poles. While moving it a slew of wasp flew out of it. I was a good 20 feet away and thought that was a safe distance. I got hit twice in the back of my head about 5 minutes later. All I could think of was why me wasp I didn't do it 🤣
After thoughts
Now a lot more of you know one of my fears. I will tell you I should buy stock in wasp spray as I have back up to back up cans of it. Don't think I get very close to the nest I spray either. I probably also spray much more than I need to. Have to make sure there's chances of survival right? Anyone interested in another fear I have? If I get a few comments of interest I will do a Part II. Are you scared of anything?

What's Going On?
Hello friends and readers. How is everyone doing? Today I give you a rant, sorry the flavor of February has been broken. I have something to admit. I'm light on fiances right now. Many expenditures are coming and I worry of having funds to take care of them. You may have noticed I have been producing a lot of articles as of late. In turn you may have noticed smaller upvotes and it's taking me longer to get to your articles. I just don't want to read them leaving you nothing monetarily.
I've wrote more to generate some income so I can continue to support each and everyone of you. I'm at a point temporary where I can't inject funds here because I can't afford to take from my personnel wallet right now. It's been crazy the last week or so as I sometimes have been busy not making money. A lot of things like my son's basketball schedule. His high school season is getting close to the end where there are more games and longer practices. Also more events such as team building events with get togethers and dinners. Of course these things take up my time to earn and cost money at the same time. I also have a big bill for his upcoming spring/summer league. I tell you youth sports is a Cash Cow here.
It's a hard time for sure for me but I'm hopefully this is a temporarily situation. It just means I need to take every opportunity to earn with my hussling delivery driving job. I'm thinking it, all I have to do is go do it. Tonight another game to attend and tomorrow another. Both are road games which will involve some traveling expenses. Oh gas it's certainly on the budget for those of us that have vehicles.
I have something else to announce. I will be starting on Hive soon. No worries my time here will remain the same. I have only done the first step so far. I still have to open up my email to do what else is required. The process of being ready to publish will be a slow one as I will take my time to try to understand and not stress myself out. I have read and learned that Hive is no joke getting started. So I don't want to be one of those authors who gets demotivated before even starting. I kind of have a feeling I'm cheating on read.cash as well🤣 After all I have built some strong friendships here and I'm so grateful what the site has done for me.
Sorry for the boring admits I just felt like I owed that to you all. The well is dry but look for it to be filled again. Like I said I'm hopeful this is temporarily and know God will bless me in time. Until then expect to see more articles from me. I will continue to strive to get to each one of your articles. I'd also love to know who on here is also on Hive :)

Hello friends and readers. How is everyone? It's already Act II of 2o23. Things are going so fast it's hard to keep up. Well it is what they call Ground Hog's Day (2 February) here in the States. To sum it up quickly a ground hog comes out of his box. If it sees it shadow it means 6 more weeks of winter if not spring is upon us early. Well it seen It's shadow!! ❄️ 🌨️I honestly can't remember when it didn't 🤣
I think for today's article I wil give it a little festive February feel ❤️ 💕😘 Why not I just told you my lost love in my last article. I'll list a few things that relate to Valentine's Day Let's get to it!!
Chocolates or flowers
For me this is too easy. What guy really wants flowers anyways? 🤣😂🤣 Give me something to satisfy my sweet tooth. Ladies is this a hard choice? Maybe your man should give you both right?
Red or Pink
I think of Valentine's Day as a lover's celebration. Hey hearts are mingled together right? I have seen a lot of pink everywhere on displays. Red is still around but it seems like it has competition. Well a heart is red so I go with red. How about you?
Stay home or go out to dine?
I have done both but I will say you better make reservations now if you want to dine out. If you dine out don't be surprised if you feel like your packed into the restaurant like a packed sardines 😂
You think it's more romantic to have a good meal cooked by partner? Hey the bedroom isnt far away either 🤫 😂 Maybe the both of you could tangle and prepare a meal together. Also you can talk and not worry about someone listening to your conversation. I go with staying at home.
Couple or Couples
Share your time only as a couple or with another couple. I guess if you are a new couple I could see sharing time with another couple. I have actually done this once and it was because I had asked a girl out a few days prior. I guess my younger self didn't want to be alone on Valentine's day :) Other than that if given a choice I would prefer not tagging along with another couple.
After thoughts
I hope you all liked this little this and that. Hey I'm still keeping the theme going for February. I can't promise I will the rest of the month though. Unless you want to hear some heart break stories 🤣😂🤣 I wish all of you that have a special partner in your life a warm and loving time together on Valentine's Day.

Lost Love
Hello readers how is everybody doing? I'm up early again today but I got 5 hours of sleep so I feel rested. Well let's get to topic at hand.
February is here and it's a month where many celebrate there current romantic relationships. I'm going to share a past relationship experience of mine with you. It's something I have wanted to share but have felt vulnerable doing so. It was a time I was happy and I felt so loved but there was something that stopped me from continuing the relationship.
How we met
This was many years ago as it was sometime in 1997. We met online through American Online (AOL) I can't remember who initiated contact first. We chatted through a chat feature for at least two weeks before we met. We shared some pictures and got to know each other . I can say we were intrigued with each other physically and our personalities seemed to gel.
First time meeting
The first thing I noticed was her beautiful smile and her eyes looking upon me. We met at my apartment. She worked mid-shifts and it was late when she arrived, I think it was like at 10:30 p.m. or later when she arrived. Might seem weird meeting at a residence for the first time but I can say the awkwardness disappeared quickly. Conversation was great and flowed so easily, it was like we knew each other for awhile.
Her appearance and first impression
Alright she is a very attractive Filipina. She was close in age to me. Long hair, short in height, and slim body type . She was about 4'10 and she was wearing business attire, a button white colored shirt with black slacks with matching short heels. The first thing I wanted to spit out was to compliment her. The simple hi, how are you, and other little chatter started the conversation. I was about to speak to compliment her and she beat me to it and complimented me.
She let me know that I'm taller and more handsome in person compared to pictures she had seen. I was going to say something very similar but I just said she looks better in person as well. She giggled a bit and I had to tell her she was cute and had a blessed smile that lit the room up.
I can remember going in for a kiss but I stopped myself because I felt it might not be the right time. I thought it wasn't that noticable and she didn't pick up on it. She must have because she than went in, lol. No worries I'm not going to mention any more than this kiss with her. I had a very good impression of her and not just because of the kiss. She was very polite and so considerate.
Something I knew going in
Ok we talked a bit before meeting. I learned quite a bit about her. She had only been in the United States for about 2 months and was already working here as data entry clerk for a major credit card maker. She came to the United States because she got married to an American guy here. To this day I feel it was a forced marriage but I never asked her because I didn't want her to get emotional about it. The guy was in his seventies and she told me that she really despised him from the very beginnings.
I had a few discussions with her about it before and after we met. I didn't probe her about it but did provide comfort to her by letting her know that she deserves better. Her husband worked over nights as a security guard. I often wondered why he still was working. So they didn't spend much time together. She told me they had sex one time and she said it was awful according to her. He would also threaten to have her deported. Later the husband found out he had low semen account and was likely not able to give her children. She told me that his master plan was to have his son be the donor.
Some memorable moments
Within two weeks she wanted me to come visit her work. She was very proud of what she did. She made pretty good money doing it. She told me she wanted to introduce me to her friend that worked there. She did tell me a little bit about her friend before I met her. I said I would and showed up there during her 30 minute lunch break. I thought I would get drilled with questions by her friend but I didn't. I think it was kind of a show and tell. I talked with them both and her friend was all smiles back to her.
I remember the first time she spent the night with me. It wasn't a planned thing it happened in a kind sweet way. We were having a conversation and she was talking about how she didn't want to leave and go back to her apartment. I simply said you can stay here if you want. Oh her eyes lit up and it was like she was receiving an award. I received a thank you and very warm hug from her. She was in disbelief and asked several times if it was ok.
There were other times she spent the night. I could just tell she loved me, not just because she said so either. She would do surprise things like cleaning my apartment and bringing or cooking food for me. She never wanted to be a nuisance to me either. I mean she never called me, she left that all on me to do. Every single time we decided to do something she was always there. I would call her and if she wasn't doing anything she never had a problem doing something together. We never had a fight or disagreement. She really was the "Perfect Girlfriend" if she wasn't married. I held a lot back because of that fact.
Our last day together
I got a call from her cell phone number. I didn't have one but she did. The person that called me was not her but her husband. He said, "Bob how do you know my wife?" I quickly hung up in a panic. She was there when he made the call. He had taken her phone and made the call. I could hear her in the background saying, "Don't, give me phone back."
I thought what a predicament I'm in. I seen her for a few months now. It really hit home now that she was married. That moment after I hung up I thought of two things. What if he finds out I'm in the military and contacts my unit? The other thing that weighed on my mind was he was security guard so he had a gun. The latter was the scarier of the two.
She arrived at my apartment not long after that call. I could tell she noticed my concern without me even telling her anything. She expressed that she was so sorry. I told her I knew she was. It was very hard to break it off with her. She was so nice and I could always tell that she wanted to make me happy. I told her we have to end it, not because of who or what she did but because of her married situation. I broke up with her because I was afraid of how it could affect me. I didn't feel good about it at all but did I really have a choice?
I have broken up with girls before or even been dumped before. This one was way different she had nothing bad to say to me, actually she said many good things to me. She did tell me that she had no regrets meeting me and will forever remember our time together.
What happened with her?
I'll admit I have looked her up from time to time but I have never tried to make contact with her. I found out she got remarried about 5 or 6 years after we last saw each other. I was happy to see that because now I know for sure she got to choose someone. Her new husband is around the same age as her. I don't know for sure how many but I strongly believe she has a few children.
I also found out recently her old husband passed away in November last year at the age of 95. He married another women who was the same age as her. I think she is Filipina too just by seeing her name on his obituary.
Why do I look her up periodically or think about her sometimes? Well I never told her I love her because my gut told me to conceal those feelings. I also tried not to fall for her but that didn't happen. Is there regret for that? I'm happy she is married and I think she is happy so I don't have regret. I will not try to contact her because I don't want to be an interference in her life. I've accepted my path and respect hers. She is and will forever be a lost love of mine.
Final thoughts
I've been wanting to write about this for quite sometime. I was young at the time and many probably think why did you do that knowing what could happen. I can just say I felt sorry for her and wanted to help out in anyway I could. Initially I didn't see her as someone I would be intimate with. She just grew on me and what happened is now a part of my past.

Than & Now
Hello friends and readers. I feel rested today because I was able to get a good night sleep. The next few days will be busy for me but l'm energized to take them on.
For today's article I look at how things were and how things are now. Keep in mind I'm older and somethings may not be the same in your country.
You don't have to memorize or write down phone numbers no more
For me when I lived and worked in 1990's I either memorized or wrote down numbers. I memorized things such as my mother's work phone, family members, and close friends. Part of the memorizing came from repetitively dialing the entire number of who you were calling. I use to carry a pocket sized address book which contained important phone numbers. If I needed to call a store or make an appointment some where I used a phone book.
At work I had a rolodex 📇 of numbers. It contained business contacts and other offices. We also used phone books.
Today many of those things are obsolete. Our phones hold contacts for us or all we have to do is search on the internet. At work now there is an electronic directory where you can find numbers. I would bet that many now don't have the numbers they call memorized. That's not as bad as not knowing your own number though, lol. When's the last time you hit all the numbers to call someone you know?
Smoking has vanished from public places indoors
I can certainly remember walking into a restaurant and be asked smoking or non-smoking. I always chose non-smoking. The bar scene was different anybody could smoke everywhere. I really don't miss those days coming home from bars and all my clothes smelling like cigarettes.
Today where I live you can't smoke indoors in any public place. The only place is in your own dwelling or car. I actually agree with the law which was enacted in my state in 2008. Many businesses were years ahead of this law. Second hand smoke can be deadly over time. Is smoking allowed in public places in your country?
Video Arcades are all but gone
Growing up there were video arcades machines everywhere. Go to a mall or even a big restaurants and there would be a huge area for them. They were even in some gas stations. I can remember going to one arcade building that was 3 stories tall and it contained 100's arcade machines.
I still see some video arcades machines today but nothing like when I was growing up. It reminds me of how the pay phones slowly went away. The only place you will see lots video machines is in casinos. Not the same thing though as those are for gambling and definitely not for kids. Gaming today is huge still, its just not much affiliated with the commercial arcade machines no more.
The way children are disciplined has changed
I was a child for the longest in the 80's. When we got in trouble we would normally get spanked and sometimes whipped by a belt on the butt. There was also the wooden spoon or paddle and what ever else might be in reach. I know of a lot of kids that got punished this way, it was common. There was also the use of being grounded which is to be condemned by staying at home or getting something taken away. I was very aware of the consequences of doing wrong or not obeying my parents.
Today here in the United States a parent would probably find themselves in trouble if they whipped thier kids with any type of objects. It could be defined as child abuse now. Disciplining today is mostly verbal now. The grounding is still very common here. I do kind of get how it has changed. I'm sure it was due to some parents going overboard on physically discipling thier children. How is disciplining children in your country perceived?
After Thoughts
I stumbled on these topics awhile ago reminiscing about things talking with a co-worker. Its easy to look back and see how things change. Sometimes you don't have to look that far back. Than and now is more or less living with change. When it comes to certain things change is required. I hope you enjoyed this topic today.

Free Write
Hello, how is everyone doing today? I'm doing ok, I'm a bit tired because I didn't get much sleep last night. I got to sleep around 11:00 p.m. and was up out of bed around 3:00 a.m. I did get up around 2 a.m. to go to the bathroom. I went back to bed afterwards, fell asleep rather quickly and woke up thinking a few hours have passed. I looked at the time and couldn't believe it was only a hour later. I just knew I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep so I got up.
So today I'm just going to write about the the last 36 hours or so. I don't think I want to put a lot of thought using my brain power. So I'll start with yesterday morning and work my way to now.
Yesterday Morning
I got a decent amount of sleep yesterday, I woke up at about 5:30. I just ate some oatmeal for breakfast with a hot cup of Joe ☕ I read a few articles until I had no more in my notifications. As you all know that doesn't consume much time anymore. I think there was like 6 or 7 articles. After that I got ready (shower & dressed) to do some delivery driving.
Delivery Driving
It was kind of a bad day delivering today. It was sort of busy but I wasn't really getting any good offers. When it felt like I was getting into a groove, I mean getting better offers, there was issues with the delivery application and a merchant I was picking up at.
The merchant was an hour behind on two orders I accepted. I can't wait that long because time is money doing this kind of job. So I unassigned myself to these orders. As soon as I did that I got offered the same two orders again. This isn't suppose to happen and it happened one more time yet before I was able to sign out of the application. I called the help desk to inform them of the incident and they did tell me there were others having the same issues. I was hungary and decided to get a bite to eat, it was about 3:00 p.m.
Late lunch and a friend
I went to a small sandwich shop nearby. I ordered a sandwich and some soup. I was thinking I need to waste about a hours time and than attempt delivering again. What happened next was perfect timing. I got a reply from a friend I messaged earlier in the morning. This conversation served me well as it used the time I was idle from driving. You know who you are and thanks for talking to me 🙂 I went on to delivery drive for another 3 hours shortly after that. I made only about half of what I usually make on a Sunday. It was a short coming for sure but they happen, it's not like I can do anything about it.
Home and Football 🏈
I made it home to catch the second half of the AFC championship game. For those not familiar, I'm talking about the American football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals. The Chiefs won and earned the right to play in the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles.
After the game I watched the local news. I was hungry and didn't feel like cooking so I had a bowl of cereal to tame my growling stomach. Shortly after that I went to bed. Well you know what happens next because I already told you above.
Morning today
I had a few cups of coffee and made some over easy eggs, sausage links, and toast. I cleared my notifications here, only 4 articles this time. The rest of time I watched TV and looked at some of my son's basketball statistics , articles on him, and his upcoming game schedules. Got ready and headed to my full-time job.
Work
I was dragging early, I'd say I was fighting the sleep monster at about 10:00. Once I went to lunch I got a second wind and my tiredness seemed to go away. It was not busy at all at work today. I answered a few calls and emails that was about it. Now I'm off and ready to go do some delivery driving once again. I'll be ok, I'll rest tonight early when I decide to stop working my delivery job.

Simple breakfast this morning. Eggs, bacon and toast. Also woke up to some light snow today.

What's up Noise Mates?
It's Friday and the day hasn't been too bad. A decided to go eat out for lunch today. I had a steak rice bowl with green peppers, onions, mushroom, banana peppers, black olives, and some salsa. Btw the contents of the picture have disappeared 🤫 😂
Once I get off work, I will be attending another high school basketball 🏀 game of my son's team. No other weekend games so after tonight I will be strictly grinding at my part time job 🚗
Not much else to mention here other than the weather is suppose to be cold for a few days. I hope everyone has a great weekend 😊 Be safe and take care. Love you all ❤️
