Dreams Revisted and Author of the Month
Hello my fellow authors and friends. The weekend is almost here hopefully I can get out of the funk I have been in lately. Maybe I should make plans for it, nah I go on the fly 😛 I got a list of possibilities who knows what I will decide. It's only planned if someone else invites ya, haha. Oh well I'll figure out something and just maybe share it somewhere.
Yesterday I took the dog out for a walk. He absolutely loved it. When we got home he did like a cannon ball and plopped on the kitchen floor. He laid there like a sack of potatoes for awhile panting.
Hopes, Dreams, & Wishes Challenge
Well at the lake today for some relaxation. A nice little environment to put some words on my cell phone screen. I tried to take a picture in the blinding sun of my lake dream house but as you can tell it came out horribly. Instead my ugly mug shot comes out fine, haha.
Anyways let's get on target already. So I received a total of 21 articles for my little article writing challenge. Had a good variety of choices and the 3 wishes by the genie had a narrow victory. It was fun reading all your choices. Surprisingly all were a bit different. The wish or dream that got the most attention was good ole money 💰. However a lot of you only wanted enough to have no financial worries. Next most popular would be health. My favorites were the ones for all, a handful of people made them for all. I like that gesture, happy world, happy people, and happy you!!
I know you want to hear my 3 wishes so I will let go with them. Rub the lamp..poof a beautiful 5 foot women of Asian decent arises from lamp 😍. Oh I want you genie!!, I only thought this still have 3 wishes, haha. Maybe a dream huh, lol.
First wish. I have to wish for all globe dwellers. I wish upon all to have everlasting happiness with good intentions of course. This includes all living things. Image a world with no hate, no jealousy, no evil, and many others. Walking among equals regardless of race, affiliation, age, and sexual orientation. Bring that beautiful smile out people!!
Second wish. Let's rid the world of all diseases. Millions die each year from diseases let's see what are new life expectancy is now. Just think no more cancers, no more diabetes, and a lot less disabilities caused by immune diseases. Flex better health for all 💪
Third wish. One for me in particular alright, if I may? I wish I end with someone that loves me as much as I love them. Let's finish each others sentences, have many things in common, and never have a need to spice things up. 😘 😘 ❤️ ❤️.
Author of the Month
Well I almost forgot, I would normally put it with one of my challenges. So number six (June) well be a great women blogger to even things outs 3 men to 3 women. This person has been involved with this platform awhile. I see her as the super engager. She will engage with no worries even if it's on someone else blog to someone else. I love that about her she will ask or give her opinion. I find her entertaining and funny.
As a writer she writes a lot of interesting articles. A variety is in her arsenal, a majority maybe on the spiritual side but that is great because it just shows she has a beautiful soul. Afterall we should all try to live by God's grace.
Congratulations Julalaine @SuperJulalaine known to me as SJ. You are Super don't let anybody else tell you otherwise. I only request one thing from you. You ready for it? You can call me Bob. Seeing CWG or Coolmid is funny but I want you to know Bob is much easier to write . You can't spell it backwards as well,haha
Final thoughts
Another week coming to a close. Once again It was fun reading all your articles and I'm happy you did them. Before I go I took some more pictures of some lake dream houses this time the sun was setting.

Baylis Park Council Bluffs, IA
Hello friends and readers of read.cash. Its my Saturday evening here about 7:00 p.m. How about I give you something a little different that I haven't done here before. I'm going to do an article with numerous pictures. Let me take you on a quick journey of a park in my locale :)
The name of the park that I'm at today is called Baylis Park. This park first opened up in Council Bluffs, IA in 1853. With much certainty much of what you see today will not be from that long ago. There are some thicker wider trees but I don't even know if they are that old.
The first thing I came into eye contact with was three monuments. The first was a 1932 dedication to veterans of the Spanish American war. The emblem in the middle list Puerto Rico, Cuba, Philippines, and the United States. All countries in the war against Spain. This war was from 1898 to 1902. Later on I will show you a memorial wall that list people who lost their lives in this war who lived here.
The second monument is a big rock surround by other smaller rocks. There is a photo depiction on the big rock with people, horses, horse buggy, and some livestock. This city was known as Kanesville before being renamed Council Bluffs and was a popular stopping point along the Mormon Trail. An interesting fact, walking distance from my house is trail museum. A lot of historic trails passed through this city as people wanted to explore and start out fresh in the west front tier of the country.
The third monument is a 1926 dedication to those who defended the flag of the United States. I enjoyed looking and reading the stories and history on these monuments.
This park is in the middle of what use to be a 19th century Hay market. There are a lot of old brick buildings still standing today that were used during those times. Most are repurposed getting used for different purposes today
Today the park is glorified by most for it's good sized water fountain. On hot summer days it is flooded with children playing in it by climbing up it. It wasn't that hot today so there were few people getting wet, I wasn't one of them!!
What's up with the squirrel monuments? Well Council Bluffs is known for there black squirrels. You can go across the river to Omaha, Nebraska but you will only see brown ones. Here in Council Bluffs you get both of them. I captured this black one a few weeks ago at this park. If you like to eat squirrel you won't get the opportunity to taste the black ones because they are illegal to hunt.
A lot of parks show off flowers this one is no different. A lot of flower boxes through out the park. There is also two smaller gardens that flex some of the local natural flowers. People come here to relax and sit at the numerous benches and tables. So why not make it inviting to our flying friends via a bird house. Hey it's not a park if you don't here chirping right?
The park also had a veteran's plaza that honored Council Bluffs veterans that were lost due to a war or conflict. Being a veteran myself I took my time and walked gingerly in this area as I took the time to read every name on the walls. The first war the city lost someone was from the Civil War here in the United States. Since that war, veterans in this city have served in every war or conflict the United States has been in. Some have made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives for their country. Without their service and their sacrifices my country surely wouldn't have the freedoms we all enjoy today.
After Thoughts
This is a little neat park located at the heart of the down town area. It's exactly the size of a city block but offers so much to the citizens of this city. Many come here for relaxation to witness the water fountain. Some like me comes here to do that as well but I also pay tribute to those names that our engraved on those walls and monuments. I wish I could say many were around me reading names but I was all alone.

So @unity & @pajeroz I upvoted your articles but now it shows that I didnt but my wallet has decreased. Did you guys receive anything on your end, just curious. Hopes, Dreams, and Wishes Challenge
Hello friends and readers of read.cash. The weekend is waving at us according to a good virtual friend :) I'm ready and excited for it to get here already. Do you feel the same?
For today's article I hope to inspire some of you to write some chosen articles that I have come up with. Don't worry it will not contain doing embarrassing acts or writing any uncomfortable confessions, haha.
I would think that everyone has hopes, dreams, and wishes. Do these words all seem like they mean the same? Maybe so but there are instances where they don't. I mean you don't dream or hope someone the best do you? Of course you would say that you wish them the best.
Wishing and hoping for something can be something much lesser than something your dreaming of, don't you agree? I mean one could be hoping that they recover from an ankle sprain quickly. Maybe we can wish for a nice bonus from our employer. To me getting something we dream of seems to be the bigger things in life. I guess what it boils down to is how much do we wish, hope, and dream for.
Articles to write
Alright the good stuff right? I mean the meat & the bones of this article, haha. These choices will be focused on the topic of my article. Please mention me in your article so I don't miss your article. There will be a little extra of an upvote from me for these articles. Please select one of the four below:

Final Thoughts
Well I figured I would try to give this community a little something to write about. It's the mid point of the year and for some it is early summer. So maybe think of this as being part of a summer kick off for this platform. Those who decide to write I hope you have a lot fun composing it. I know I look forward to reading them.

Week in Review
Hello friends how is everyone? The weekend is on us, sigh. The best thing is I have no scheduled work this weekend. So I'm free to delivery drive and perhaps get out and do something of fun.
Well rather than tell you everything I did this week. I'm just going to write about blogging activities for the week. First I will give you the completed Read Ice Bucket Challenge articles. Second I will talk on the RustyDay initiative. Lastly I'll wrap up on how blogging was for me in Hive this week.

Another challenge completed this week. Three in total completed this challenge. One dumped on themselves, another had someone else dump on them, and one got into barrel. All were a little bit different and each had their own challenges completing it. Of course all were a joy to see and everyone of them were happy to do it. Well the first article form of RustyDay materialized in the first few days of this month. I haven't counted but a handful of users did articles on the first or second of June. At the beginning of May it started through a ReadCashRain event as the majority of users picked it among two other article choices.
I did one myself showing a trend of his tipping on my articles and short posts. I also asked the community for inputs on it as well. The consensus from a few users is there should be a minimum of a $0.05 upvote to the random rewarder and it should occur on the 1st day of the month. Hive Activity
I split time between here and there. I was a little active in Hive this week as I published 3 articles. That is very uncommon of me. One was a shorter article for Hive Power up Day. The other two articles were two longer articles on somethings I did over last weekend. I'm kind of my own critic as I don't cross post my articles onto to seperate platforms. It's just doesn't feel right taking rewards for the same article and it's kind of frowned upon by some. June Rusty Day
Hello friends and readers of read.cash. This year is flying by so fast. Is this the case for you? Spring started and ended before I even had the opportunity to get settled in. The weather here is like that though. We usually have long summers or winters. Spring and Fall are usually short lived.
Well let's get into the core of this write up. Happy Rusty Day first off, hehe. Today I'm going to show you a comparison of upvotes from Rusty when it comes to Articles and Short Posts. I'll also show you my upvote to the Bot for today. Lastly I will leave a discussion for the community on thoughts about writing articles for #RustyDay.
Articles versus Short Posts
I'm not by all means very active at pumping out articles. So maybe my sample size doesn't really show things as a whole. I published 5 articles and 10 short posts. I did not count the short post from yesterday.
So for the month of May Rusty upvoted a total of $3.35 on my five articles. I counted 78 upvotes in total. He hit them for various amounts from $.o1 to $0.50. More or less the amounts were smaller. I got two $0.50 one time upvotes. The average upvote came out to approximately $0.043 cents. All articles received upvotes from the green one.
The total upvotes for my ten short posts were $2.65. I counted 57 upvotes in total. Again various amounts from $.01 to $.50. Same as above the amounts were usually smaller. I received only one $.50 upvote. The average upvote came out to approximately $0.046 cents. All but one of the short posts received upvotes from the Random Rewarder.
What's my small sample size show? Articles will get more upvotes in turn of quantity. There's a better chance of getting a larger one time upvote doing an article. What surprised me was the average upvote amount. I never expected my short posts to gander more of an average upvote amount.

So between the two avenues of writing I received a total of $6.00 in upvotes from the Random Rewarder. Thank you so much Rusty for anything you provide. So for #RustyDay I will upvote him $3.00 exactly to give him back 50% of what he gave to me.

Rusty Day Articles
So I bring this to everyone's attention. Let's talk about what, when, and how. I'd rather this be a community driven article than a Bob one.
What are your thoughts on what the article contains? Should it be a standard showing before and after pictures of your upvote? Maybe something more simple like a screenshot from our activity such as this:
Perhaps not doing it all is something desired. Asides from that what other things come to mind. Maybe showing totals such as I did. Maybe a contrast on Rusty activity from last month or previous months. Three minute reading length? Any other ideas ?
Should there be a timeline when to publish? There's the simple conclusion leaving Rusty Day on just the first of each month. We could also leave a short time frame of 3 days to post. Going out much further than a week I believe takes away from it being a begining of month thing. What are your thoughts?
Well should there be a minimum upvote to our green buddy? How much to upvote? If so the first thing that comes to my mind is a minimum of $0.05. I think we don't want to make it too high of amount because that may deter users from doing it. Other ideas could be a percentage given back on the total you made for the month. There's always the option of not upvoting as well. A drawback to this is coming up with more content to make it a worthy article.
There you go a full article for today on Rusty Day. I'm not the first to post on this today and I'm hopeful I'm not the last. I think for now we give some time for those wishing to do it for the first time, a week to get them in. Maybe somethings to determine for this initiative or we just leave it be and do whatever.

Hello friends and readers how is everyone doing? I can't believe the year is almost half over. I feel like I'm missing out on so much. As many of you know fishing is one of my favorite hobbies. It's embarrassing to say I have only been once this year. If the everything goes well the rest of the day I might make it out this afternoon to do some.

Would you rather have the ability to fly or be invisible?
Both of these could provide many things. Being invisible you could witness many things that you probably wouldn't otherwise see or hear. It would be the ultimate military or spy ability to attain. Heck James Bond didn't even have this ability, haha. I guess if you have distrust in someone this could be the ultimate truth finder, haha. I think in the wrong hands many mischievous things could occur. I think if I had this ability I'd use it as a frequent flyer, traveling for free.
The ability to fly is quite the ability to have as well. I think a bird eye's view of things would be pretty cool. Imagine going to a canyon and being able to land some where it would almost be impossible otherwise. I think to myself would I fly like Superman or would I have to flap my arms, haha. Would I have feathers that come out on demand? I'd hope to fly without feathers, I don't want to be birdman.
It's a tough choice but I think I would choice invisibility. I'm not saying this because of man instincts either to catch a peak. I'd definitely use it to catch free airline flights. Passports and Visas nope don't need them, lol. I could use it to check on others who I think maybe in trouble. I would think I would be able to not use it in the wrong ways like being a creepy or for just the betterment of myself. My little sin would be catching free rides, that's not that bad is it?
Would you rather have unlimited money or unlimited time?
Sure having unlimited money would be great. Think of all the things you could do with it First thing would be to pay off all my debt. No more mortgage payment, no more car payment, no more financial burdons. After that I'll be honest I would just want a simple life not one of luxury.
Having unlimited time would be great to accomplish many things. Now if it meant immortality that would be something. Of course out living everyone would be a little depressing. The unlimited time could perfect something you do, even if it fails because you get more chances to make it better. Being at the half way point or longer in my life I go with unlimited time. Hey I'm sure I could figure out a lot of things especially money matters to better get along.
Would you rather have the ability to read minds or see the future?
Both are kinda similar but very different. Seeing in the future could do many things. One could use this for financial assistance very easily. What are winning lottery numbers? What will be the price of a share or cryptocurrency at it's highest point? Another benefit could be getting information for medical cures. The thing that is scary are things you might not be able to control. How do prevent a military invasion or war? How do you stop any natural disasters? How do you feel knowing the death dates of loved ones or even yourself? If you really think about it there might be things you don't want to know about.
Well there are many benefits to reading minds. More or less a person with this ability could be a lie detector. How much would one use it? Would you want to become a person during your birthday who wants no surprises? Perhaps using it to determine if someone likes you. Maybe your in a job interview and you could determine what answers to give. Maybe your suspicious of someone and want to know the truth. Oh let's not let our bosses have this ability, lol. Hey there's one profession that would have a calling and that would be a magician. I think after awhile it would get boring. However I am choosing to read minds over seeing the future.
Would you rather have a photographic memory or the ability to forget anything at will?
To remember or not to remember is the question. No blaming it on the alcoholic beverages people, haha. Now it's either we remember it or not. I already have somewhat of a photographic memory. I like to call it elephant memory. Sometimes remembering too much can be a pain. Nothing more annoying than having to repeat yourself
I can see some wanting to forget the past. If we had the ability to forget, how many less memories would we have? Bad memories or experiences can be tough to swallow but without them how do we really adapt in life? How would we help someone else out if we erase all of our bad experiences. If you had a hurtful bad experience wouldn't you want to be there for someone going through something similar? I think we need both bad and good experiences. I would choose having a photographic memory. It's been said remember our past so we don't repeat it. You might forget but others will remember.
Final Thoughts

Aftermath of ReadCashRain III & Author of the Month
Hello read.cash friends and readers. It's Tuesday evening here and all faucets of the #readcashrain event have come to an end. Thanks to all that participated.
Well for the purposes of this article I will recap the event. I'll give my answers to the two questions I gave everybody to kick off the event. I'll talk about the behind the scenes on the jar, haha. Another thing to recap is #RustyDay. Lastly I will announce my Author of the Month for May.
Questions
Question 1: Is there anything about 2023 you like more than 2022?
Yes, first off I like how COVID-19 has not been such a pain. It seems like it's finally starting to disappear. Well there is one other thing that is special and that is meeting someone who has much caught my attention. Realmente tengo un nuevo lugar reservado en mi corazón. Other than these two things this year just has a different feel to it. I tell you as a blogger I have done things out of my comfort zone or just plain done some new things. I split time between here and Hive now.
Question 2: Where or what do you do to get recharged?
No surprises look at my Avatar, haha. Though I have only been fishing once this year so far. Just being outside in nature recharges me. Speaking of relaxation time, Sunday I got a pedicure. I know it's not a big time guy thing to but darn it having attention to your feet is relaxing.
The Jar
I came up with this idea back in December. I cashed out some change sometime in January. To be honest I needed the money for myself then. I somehow misplaced the jar and was using a cereal bowl to collect my change. So a few weeks ago I bought another Mason jar to place my change in. Usually when the jar is full it yields around $70 dollars. I did pick from the cereal bowl to take quarters out of it to use for various things like washing the car or to use in vending machines at work. It was nice doing this but I won't again because I like to find new creative ways to give.
Rusty Day
I came up with this initiative for a couple of reasons. One is I wanted to give everyone at least one article to write each month. Second it's a great way for the community as a whole to give back to the platform. I hope to see lots of articles around the first of the month.
What am I going to do? I'm going to track what Rusty tips to me. Yes the least amount, the largest amount, and the overall amount. Perhaps show comparisons between short posts and regular articles. Of course show appreciation via an upvote.
Author of the Month
Well it's May and I haven't announced my Author of the Month yet. I also didn't mention all the articles I have received either. Along with all BCH that was shared and moved. Well that is because this months author wrote an article about those things.
This person is a great father and husband to his family. He's also admired by many in the read.cash community. He's a got some articles out there that have taken much time compose. He's been on my radar for quite some time to be honored by me as Author of the Month.
That's right @Amjad_Ali_Waincegets the honor this month. I hope this finds you timely friend. Congratulations you are so deserving. For other statistics on my event check out his article here. Final Thoughts
It was fun doing this event. I wish I could have been more active in my article but I was tired and very warn out. It was a lot of things in one article and I hope you all enjoyed. Hello Everyone. I'm doing good got some relaxation time finally. Sunday thru Tuesday I worked a lot of hours and missed out on a lot of sleep.
I have always commented on my comments on my articles. I tell you I got exhausted and I really didn't have the will power nor the energy to attempt to reply to my #readcashrain comments. It was struggle for me just reading and upvoted.

Hello read.cash friends and readers. What a crazy month of April. Connectivity / Conectividad
Even though we can't speak each other's language well we still have an incredible chemistry. I love how we share taking turns using the translater to talk back and forth. Even though not everything is translated correctly we sometimes automatically understand the true meaning. A chemistry where we have similarities such as likes, beliefs and a certain way we love things. We admire so many things about each other and it feels so natural to share them. The most amazing thing is your energy and being, its just the batter that brings everything together.

Well let me summarize and add some more. She is beautiful inside and out. Lives far away but is basically in the same time zone as me. Has a energy vibe to me that is out of this world. A very smart easy going person that could never be boring. She is a very loving person and has so much to offer. Everyday I learn a little more about her which to me is appetizing. I also love how her name rolls off my tongue. Beautiful voice and well deserved individual that only deserves the best.

Peace or Happiness & Author of the Month
Hello read.cash friends and readers. It's been a long week for me. Not exactly a normal week for me but not a bad one either. I haven't worked long hours driving which is different. The thing is I have been kind of socializing a lot this week. I picked this article topic above from talking with a friend about it briefly.
So let's discuss peace and happiness. Are they related or far from each other? Well I think they are related but they can also be much different from each other. I'll discuss which one I think is better as well. Let's exam their definitions.
Peace
There are different kinds of peace but let's focus on just one derived from Oxford dictionary:
*Freedom from anxiety, disturbance (emotional, mental, or spiritual), or inner conflict; calm, tranquillity.*

Happiness

Which one is better to have?
Everyone has heard the phrase, "Peace of mind." A feeling that basically gives us satisfaction that we are in a good place or position based on a set factors. Do we need to be happy to be at peace? No we don't, we can make a decision and be ok with it happy or not. For instance, one could be at peace with another accepting how they feel for another. Maybe they accept someone as friend instead of lover, acquittance instead of enemy, or roommate instead of a friend.
Peace could be the way we live. One could be at peace for having a roof over their head, having daily necessities such as food, and of course employment. It doesn't mean we have our dream house or job to obtain a peaceful life. So to me peace is a choice of what we are willing to accept.
The decision making process of peace can be obtained by sacrificing or just by accepting factors that are in front of us. One could also put their foot down and create their own peace. Another saying, "I won't lose any sleep because I'm at peace with it" can be applied here.
What about happiness? Sure being happy can help us emotionally. Can it be created? Do we have to find or can it be given? I think it would be hard to materialize happiness. Sure we can be positive in hopes to keep ourselves happy. What happens is we got to keep doing it to keep it. Are we really happy doing this over and over though?
We can find happiness through others. Sometimes it can be long lasting. Finding someone who we have chemistry with or meets all are needs can make us happy. Happiness is not always long lasting with others. Trust can be broken, through time it could wear off, and there's always the chance it wasn't meant to be.
We also can be given happiness. A few examples: through generousity, a life of a child, help from others, and among other things. Once again no guarantee on all these things. Are we happy when we receive money? Yes, it's hard for someone to argue with that. Is it long lasting though? No, once it is gone the happiness fades away, especially if we need more.
A birth of a child does bring happiness. Seeing part of you in your child does make us happy Their accomplishments also make us proud. I believe happiness is long lasting through are children. Happiness doesn't always transfer over to other things though. It is possible to have happiness in one thing and not on others.
Doing a good deed can bring happiness to others. Sometimes these deeds can install good life changing behaviors for the recipient. Unfortunately it's not a guaranteed long term happiness.
**A full life of happiness is not guaranteed at all. Living a life of peace can happen in my opinion. It's all about sacrificing and accepting things in your life. I go with peace being better than happiness. Don't get me wrong nothing wrong with happiness. It's just in most situations it comes and goes.**

What a long week. I had that feeling it should be Friday after Monday ended, haha. Never a good sign when that happens. Lately I have been catching up on some sleep. I hope at some point this weekend I will publish an article here. I was able to fly around some and hit some articles. I just have felt burnt out a bit lately. I like the thought of relaxing this weekend but it's suppose to rain all this weekend in my parts. Anyways I hope all are doing ok, a lot has happened here in the last few days.
