Back at P&F Estacion de Cafe
We went back to one of my favorite cafes in the city. This is P&F Estaction de Cafe. We have been planning this week when to go back there.
Last January, a friend who advocates for dogs sold vouchers to be used here in this cafe. Some of the proceeds of that will go to the fund that will be used for rescues like treatment, bills to the vet, etc. We have bought some vouchers and have already used those. One of our friends have also bought a voucher but it has not been consumed yet. It was then decided to accompany her and go to the cafe to use the voucher and at the same time spend some moments together.
After lunch time, it started to rain. It does that for the past days but only for a few minutes and then stop. However, this time, it rained real hard. We were worried that if it continues to do so, we may not be able to go out.
Thankfully, the rain stops here and then so we took our chance. It was providence that as we arrived at the highway, there was already a taxi wherein someone was getting out. No one else was waiting for a cab that's why we have no one else to compete with. Usually, when it rains, empty taxis are hard to come by such is the case with our other friends that we met today.
We arrived at the cafe first and was informed by the owner that we were the only customers that day since we have already informed her beforehand of our plan of coming. While waiting for our friends, the owner served us tea for free. That's just generous of her.
We have been in contact with our other friends and informed them of our arrival. We had the same worries - no taxi available. The cafe is located some kilometers away from the city. Taking a jeepney would be a hassle to taxi is the best option.
Good thing they didn't need to wait that long and they were able to have a ride.
Our friend who was claiming the voucher brought her kids and it's good to see them again and that they are now able to join us. Since pandemic, we have had no chance at all to do that. We all enjoyed the food and time together.
This was taken inside the taxi that we rode going to the cafe. I had to lock the focus of my phone's camera by focusing it on a different subject inside the cab and then trying to focus on some of those droplets as the car is moving. It's a tricky thing to do and fun as well.
The lead image was one of the sunset photos that I took. Again, the heaven is looking down at us for it showed us sunset. According to the owner, they have guests checked in who had been with them for four days but they haven't had a chance to view a sunset but today they did and at their last day in the city. That's a great way to end the visit.
From the cafe, before going home, we headed to another restaurant to take out some food for tomorrow.
I hope your day had been great and the weekend is treating you okay.
Kakaiba talaga yung vibes ng lugar at ambiance, parang super sarap magstay at magpicture picture with family or friends
